We stayed in Wycliffe Hall for a couple of nights for a conference. The thing that stood out was how friendly and kind all of the staff we met were. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciate your kindness! Thanks for a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean. There was some noise from a fan or light outside, but overall it was a great place to stay and good value for money.

Excellent stay at Wycliffe. Comfortable room warm and quiet so a good sleep after busy day in Oxford. Breakfast was enough to satisfy both our needs for the day too

I hesitate to reveal how lovely it was to stay here because I plan to return someday for a family trip and don’t want to compete to get reservations! This was a fabulous place to get the space and relaxation I’ve been craving. Thank you for being so welcoming and considerate to a traveler. It’s been a long time since I visited before this but I’ll be looking forward to the next time I come and can stay here.

Basic but clean, functional room in quiet area close to centre - exactly what was required. A good, if a little pricey, alternative Premier Inn.

Things to improve would be access to a coffee machine (unless I missed it), as the café etc is closed at the weekend. In view of this, a couple more sachets of coffee in the room would have been great.

Otherwise very good and I will likely stay again and recommend to others.

When we arrived we followed the instructions which were clear. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable. The extra pillow in the wardrobe was appreciated, as was the hairdryer. Good selection of toilet toiletries, tea coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. The room was warm and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely suite, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, very comfortable - only downside it seemed that the previous occupant had been smoking in the rooms, maybe the no smoking rule could be displayed more prominently.

Room was clean and welcoming - reception was friendly.
Only issue was the room was quite warm but I was able to open a window and turn down the radiator.

Facilities were very clean but a bit worn. Bed was comfortable. A bedside light would have been useful; it would have to be wall-mounted but perhaps this could be added when the room next gets an update. Electrical sockets were few and hard to reach, for someone rather older than a student. Staff were very helpful, and overall this was a good stay.

Extremely equipped. Very pleased given the price not exorbitant, the location, and the available amenities in the apartment.
Recommended to friends.

Excellent room and value for money. It was very clean and there is plenty of space. I was only staying one night and so it could not have been better. A good location within easy walking distance of the centre. If I was coming to Newport again would I look to stay here again - very definitely.

Easy, economical, close to the city, clean, and accessible. Very helpful staff.

The room was in a new (to us) building, which was very convenient yet quiet and comfortable. Rewley House were happy to look after our bags after check out and before we headed home, which was very helpful. Will definitely try to book here for our next trip to Oxford!

Spacious en suite single located in Cowley, an eclectic area just across Magdalen Bridge with its own character yet close to the centre. Access and departure all worked well. The room was equipped with coffee and tea and serviced daily. Excellent value for money too.

Wonderful place to stay - beautiful college building, delicious breakfast in the Great Hall, such a privilege. Peaceful bedrooms, and right in the centre of Oxford. What's not to like!

Excellent service, location, and facilities! My son and I stayed for 2 nights at Mansfield College and we loved it! Very friendly staff!

I stayed in St. Hugh’s College, Oxford. The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival, and later when I had a query. The room was ok - pretty basic student room but comfortable enough. The building I was in was tricky to get into even with just a small cabin bag due to the staircases and ways the doors opened. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. The grounds were beautiful, BUT there was little to no lighting on the pathway from the main building to the accommodation block. This was a walk of a few minutes through gardens with many secluded spots which not only felt unsafe after dark, but also made it extremely hard to see where I was going, even using my phone torch.

Many bus routes nearby, although not much around within 15 mins walking distance that I saw.

It was a typical student room but that was what I wanted. There was tea, biscuits and towels. It was a very comfy bed with a light duvet and 2 pillows. It was very quiet during the night. The porter is 24h so it felt safe. I could get back anytime with a key. Breakfast was in the chapel which was a real experience. The gardens and borders are beautifully planted. The porters were all very friendly and helpful. The College buildings are beautiful

Breakfast in the Great Hall was a wonderful way to start each day! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were updated. I had some trouble with the WiFi, but other than that, this was a very convenient and beautiful place to stay!
