Pricing would indicate a high quality product so purchased a few chinos at great cost. However quality is not great… buttons fall off, worn cords after a few washes and inconsistent sizing. Will not be buying again

The quality of the courdroy material is unacceptable for a jacket that cost nearly or over 200€. Lightweight, without body: makes the jacket (though I wouldn't even call this an over shirt) fall from the shoulders like chiffon or silk. I wouldn't be surprised to find something of this quality in Primark, and I'd quickly pass over it. If I didn't have the complications of returning this article from Spain (and it's more onerous than most other companies), or had the benefit of buying it at a significantly reduced price in the sale, I would send it back. I've been eyeing up some other jackets from Universal Works but it will be a cold day in hell before I buy anything more online from this company.

Ordered in the sale and received it next day (free of charge) which was great.

Unfortunately I had an issue with the shirt itself and noticed a small defect, the team at Universal Works couldn't have been more accomodating and offered a refund or repair to the shirt (they had unfortunately run out of stock of my size).

Been buying from them for years, great brand.

Really liked this companies look to it clothes but had to wIt for the sales to purchase a shirt i had my eye on for a while full price £160 when it arrived i couldnt believe what a poor quality item it was thin cheap feeling material. Dont get me wrong it looks good on... just feels cheap. I would have been really pi**ed had i paid full price. Will have to think long and hard before buying from them again.

Good quality clothing, but when ordering from them directly I would stay away and order from a company that stock their goods. The website does not correspond to the stock they have. I know customers demands are high, but 8 days to be notified after purchase that they don't have the stock to fill the order before refunding money. Very disappointed

Great quality for the price. Been ordering for years and always impressed with what I've received.

Bought black London jacket and Field Waistcoat (with Aston pants) 18 months ago and it made a great little suit. Fabric had a nice sheen and snap to it, plus a great shape. Washed them (as instructed), cold, 15 min shortest cycle. Result: pretty much ruined. Very difficult to iron, fading to critical things like corners of lapels. Loss of sheen. Very disappointed. TBH I am not sure dry cleaning would have produced a better result; perhaps the idea is you just don't wash these things but (like selvedge jeans) find other ways to keep them fresh.

I purchased a shirt of yours and it has a spelling mistake on the embroidery and you say this is ok to sell at £145 per shirt and will not give a refund . You are still leaving I don’t know how many of these shirts for sale all over the country 😡
I would leave no stars if possible.

I only recently discovered Universal Works and have fallen in love with their aesthetic. I had generally been a 'slim fit' guy but their loose fitting yet tailored clothes are so comfortable without looking sloppy.

The price point is a bit of a step up for me, but the attention to detail and quality of the fabric feels value for money. Unlike many designer brands, I do get the sense your money is going toward the craftsmanship rather than the logo. The pleated track pants are hands down the most comfortable trousers I have ever owned!

Shout out to the online customer services team. I have a habit of emailing online retailers banal questions about their products, usually I get dismissive answer but credit to Universal Works the person that got back to me (Araluen) had clearly taken some time to answer my silly question in a really personable way.

Delivery was fast, with environmentally friendly packaging and a very generous returns policy.

Earned yourself a fanboy, cheers guys.

I’m a regular customer of Universal Works and never cease to be impressed. Everything about them is professional. The clothes are brilliant, as is the website. Customer service is as good as it gets. They are super helpful and grounded. A really great brand.

The clothes are fabulous, great material, excellent and flattering cut and a lovely selection. The customer service at the Coal Drops Yard shop was just amazing! The girl who worked with me to choose the clothes was passionate about the brand, sustainability and ethical fashion. I am recommending far and wide!

I Recently bought two needle cord twin pocket Treck Shirts from their website. Quality of these shirts is superb, very nice, soft material and very, very stylish shirts that can either be worn casual with jeans and trainers or for evenings-club nights with smart trousers and shoes. I Usually wear XL in most clothes being 6'2'' but I went for a Large in these and I'm glad I did as they fit perfect on me. Their delivery was also very fast. I'll definitely be buying more from these in the future.

I’m a huge fan of Universal Works. Their Bakers jackets are my all year round dry weather jacket that get loads of compliments.
They have a great website, provide a quick delivery service and have easy customer friendly returns if something doesn’t fit.
I feel very happy shopping at, and wearing Universal Works, their style suits mine.
