This company is a scam and the owner is…

This company is a scam and the owner is a fraud. All 5 star reviews are fake and bought by the company. If you sign a contract with them, they will call you 72hrs before your move so your deposit is no longer refundable to get more money out of you just to sell your contract to the lowest bidding carriers whom, on the day of your move will force you to pay more money, or if you don't, they'll take your things, hold them hostage until you pay the new price they named. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY A COUPLE OF THOUSANDS TO HAVE YOUR THINGS TO BE BROKEN, DAMAGED AND "LOST". They keep changing their company name for this reason and hopefully the owner will have to face the consequences of his business ethics.

Beware. Read this

After settings up my cross country move almost a month in advance and speaking with Brooke, leann, and jerri thier customer service team and being reassured by all three that they were a company owned business and that they were not like the rest off the many frauds in the cross country moving brokers game and that any of the 3 car Brooke Leann, Jerri. Could be reached at anytime with concerns.3 days before th 29th (pick up date planned I was contracted again by Jerri to review my inventory list I did add 3 more 27 gallon totes which I paid for that day bringing the grand total paid to over $1700. Which I understood. The day before the scheduled pick up date I received a call from yet another csr Nicole enters the scam telling me my pick up was set and ready to be picked on the 30th. I explained to her that the scheduled date for pick up had to be the 29th as agreed upon because I had already set up air fare and logging. After 2 more calls from Nicole she said they would pick up my belongings on the 29th as previously agreed upon. Now the fun starts the 29th comes and I recieved a call from the driver 10 a.m telling me he would be thier between 12 and 2pm. 2pm comes and goes so I reach out to one thier csr (customer service reps) first Brooke then leann, then jerri and finally nicole. And what a surprise all 4 of thier electronic mail boxes are full and can't except any messages. So I call the driver back at 3PM he tells me now he has 2 more pick ups and can't be there until 5 or 6 I have no choice I'm stuck with an apartment full of my already packed belongings and a deadline. 630 pm the driver shows up and looks at my belonging and say United global van lines gave him an inaccurate Square footage to be picked up and that if I wanted him to pick up my belongings it would an additional $800 on top off the already $1000 I was scheduled to pay on the pick date. This was all due to the inaccurate amount of Square footage given to him by United global van lines. I told him I had a contract and he didnt care. That was enough for me I asked him to leave and tried again to contact the csr team as well as the corporate office. no luck imagine that.
So here it is 9pm I have all my belonging packed and air fare and logging scheduled and paid for. After calling 4 different moving company's I finally get one that will pick up my items on the 30th so I cancel my airfare and logging and reschedule them. During all this time I never received 1 single call from BROOKE,LEANN,JERRI OR NICOLE whom were all so reassuring and I was told reachable for any problems
Shortly after my move was scheduled with another company I get a call from Joe a manager with United global van lines asking my why I canceled my pick and I explain the whole story to him his response was I will have to look into this.then he sends me a email t stating United global Van's was there to make the pick up and I canceled. And by signing and returning the email absolving United Global van lines of any responsibility. So I now have turned this over to my banking institution and contacted the Federal Trade Commission as well as my legal counsel to deal with these people.to try and recover my already paid fees.
In closing my opion based on my experience with United Global Van Lines is that if you ever have to plan a move and contact them BROOKE,LEANN,JERRI,NICOLE AND JOE are to put it mildly liars and crooks who are well versed on how to take your money and provide no assistance after they get your first deposit and then try the old bait and switch technique. They are all in my eyes very unprofessional. I feel they broke any contract when they provided the inaccurate Square footage to the moving company. Even after they verified my inventory twice with me.

Worst experience ever

Everything
delayed delivery, nothing itemized, items not deducted they did not take on article list. Several items broken packed by movers, lamps, tables, desks, down to metal bed frames. Parts lost to reassemble, wheels broken, shelves missing. They tied the queen size mattress to the outside of moving truck to trans load to another trailer. The only time you get in contact with a person is if they wanted more money. If you talk to 4 people the price will go up 4 times. They underbid and then overcharge you. You can only get a refund if you use them to move on another move. Worst company ever do not use them. Gave them a 1 star because that is the lowest you can select for a review.

This has been an absolute mess from the day the movers arrived. I was quoted a price before hand. That price doubled the day the movers, a totally different moving company by the way, showed up to load. stuff was picked up May 26th 2025. I am writing this on June 19th & I have no idea where my stuff is. They are a broker company. Once the movers show, they will ghost you completely. No response after a tone of emails and phone calls. I urge everyone to NOT use a broker to arrange a move. Most of all this one.

Absolute a horror show after I signed…

Absolute a horror show after I signed the contract. All the correct phrases were used “we will be with you every step of the way”… “this will be the easiest part of your move”…. Our people go through rigorous training on how to correctly wrap and stack the trucks”… and on and on. TOTAL BS. Price doubled the day of the move. I was told not to wrap particular items, only to find out later they charge exorbitant amounts to ‘professionally’ wrap. (Used cardboard and tape) Smooth talking sales people that completely disappear once the paper is signed and they have you by the b@lls. Do your research.

This moving company is a very big scam

This moving company is a very big scam. Please do not work with them. They make you sign contract writing down a reasonable estimate, to make sure they are offering you a great deal. Once the movers arrive(seal van lines) a different company, they charge you even more money. So you are paying double of what you actually sign for. The coordinator (Jerri) is one of the biggest scammers working there.

I would give them zero stars if I could. spend the most horrible experience of my family‘s life ..they lied and said that movers would show up and help us pack items. They told us they were a full service moving company. They won’t even lift up the finger and won’t even help pack items to the truck. They charge a fortune in or not a real moving company. There are merely a broker trying to make a fee and they don’t care about you after because all they wanted was your money and somebody with a U-Haul shows up who speaks the English. It’s a illegal operation for sure. buyer beware the tram at united will never answer your call after they get their Broker fee. truly scam artists

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING…

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! They will rip you off. They will quote you a lower price then when they pick up your items they will double the price. Once the items are loaded they wont let you see inside the truck. They ask for half payment when they load your stuff and the remainder once delivered. When my stuff was delivered by a carrier company they wouldn't unload until the remainder of the payment was given. Once everything was unloaded I was then informed that half of my stuff was missing. Called the company to get an explanation why my stuff was split and was meet with radio silence, asked to speak with a supervisor for 3 weeks straight and was meet with poor customer service or they would simply drop off my call. After 3 weeks I received my missing items which the majority was broken/damaged or simply stolen. PLEASE save yourself the headache and don't go with this company or a carrier.

Bait and switch is the only way to…

Bait and switch is the only way to describe my experience with United Global Van Lines. Their initial, reasonable estimate more than doubled a week before my move, and then doubled again on moving day. I was stuck – finding another mover last minute simply wasn't an option. I deeply regret choosing them. The delivery date was a week later than expected. Some of my belongings were damaged and a number of items were never delivered. BEWARE!

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this company. When they arrived the pick up my household goods the double the price of the initial quote and demanded that I pay the balance in cash. They did not finish loading my good until 11 pm because the ramp to the truck was broken. They delayed my delivery for 6 days. When my households goods arrived the mattress to my bed was soaking wet and torn, the bed frame was broken, my tv was broken, the tv stand and dresser was broken. They do not return your phone calls and don’t return emails. They are the worst moving company you can chose. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

Horrific experience

This Company sold our contract without telling us and the people that showed up were terrible and charged twice the amount and only wanted cash or postal money orders. At first they said they would work with us but now we can't contact them - will not return phone calls and are totally unreliable. PS: the new Company Good View Moving and Storage employees stole my jewelry.

Zero stars

Zero stars. This company attempted to upcharge me during pickup, claiming that the 250 cubic feet stated in my contract wouldn’t be enough for my move. However, my items — 15 standard moving boxes (each approximately 3 cubic feet), a dresser, TV, dog kennel, and a few smaller items — clearly fit well within that space. Despite this, they told me I needed to pay an additional $1,000 for them to load my things.

When I refused and contacted the original booking agent, I got no resolution. Less than 30 minutes later, I received a call from their general manager claiming they weren’t charging extra and would honor the contract. At that point, it felt like a tactic just to get my items on the truck.

I told them I was canceling the move, but the movers refused to leave my home for over an hour, continuing to push to take my belongings. Even after canceling, they refused to return my deposit — despite not honoring the terms of the original agreement.

Avoid this company at all costs.

If I could leave zero stars I would

If I could leave zero stars I would, stay FAR AWAY from this SCAM company and any subsidiaries that it deals with. They do not follow their own contract when it states items verbatim. They do everything in their power to find ways to up charge services. They will literally hold your items hostage until you pay them and even pay the movers as well like that is literally not their job. Do not do any business with the company if you don't want to be out thousands of dollars.

Update:

Update:

Finally received my stuff. They weren’t able to unload the truck unless you paid the amount due and on top on waiting long to get my items a lot of things came messed up and BROKEN. But of course they don’t do anything about it. When I tell you is the worse company to do business with is the worse. NEVER AGAIN! Do not recommend. They are careless and if you are big on COMMUNICATION. Please do yourself a favor and don’t go with them. I never leave review but after this horrible experience I had too. We pay all this money just to throw away a lot of our stuff.
