I ordered my eVScope 2 telescope 8 days ago and aside from the initial order confirmation I have received no further communication about delivery.

I was hopeful and excited. Out of the box I’ve had nothing but issues. Collimation is accurate at least I get expected result and focus with mask seems right however all objects are very blurry. In working with support I sent in requested pictures their response was the issue was high humidity even though the temperature was 30 degrees F. Later the support rep requested pictures of which I already provided in the same case.
I’m frustrated with support in that so far it feels like a lack on support part that the problem is not with the scope or that it was bad out of the box. I know this scope is DSO but being the newer version planetary is supposed to work too. Jupiter and Mars are not remotely visible, my ETX has a cleaner picture.
I’m still in my 30 day trial period so I opted to request RMA.
For the price of this scope I expected so much more and I’m thoroughly disappointed.

The eVscope products are truly fantastic, they really make it easy to look at (and photographing) deep space items, other planets in the solar system or the moon.
I was promised 7-8 days delivery, it took 5

clear information, accurate tracking and fast delivery...quality is there even before the reception of the instrument. congratulation and exciting start

My experience has been excellent. I asked for information which was always sent within a day. Once the telescope was ordered it was despatched very quickly and reached me in perfect condition in 3 working days (from France to southern Spain).

I have been an amateur astronomer for decades. Unistellar eVscope is the first telescope which lets you concentrate on observing objects instead of tinkering with telescope. No wires, no polar alignment, no handling the files: darks, flats, stacking. It's all done automatically. All what is left is enjoyment.

Since you have updated software it has be pretty useless!! Have tried to use 3 times now doesn't seem to be any information on how to use new software. Seriously thinking of putting on ebay would not recommend anyone to buy one

I received my eVscope in September 2020 after being an early backer of the project on Kickstarter. Since then I have regularly put it to the test from within my home city (Bortle class 7-8) and from the mountain side (Bortle class 2-3). It is impressive how the eVscope achieves almost similar results on deep sky objects under both skies. One feature I really appreciate is that one can participate easily in citizen science projects, like observing asteroid occultations or exoplanet transits, because the eVscope is connected to the Unistellar scientific community led by professional astronomers for analysing the collected data.
The Unistellar eVscope is the perfect instrument for users who appreciate ease of setup & use, mobility and connectivity. Its unique features make it interesting not only for beginners but also advanced amateur astronomers. The eVscope combines a portable go-to telescope with a deep sky camera and internet connectivity, all into one package. I think everyone can quickly use it to its full potential, wherever one is based, avoiding the steep learning curve for astrophotography and astronomy.

Placed my order (eVscope2) and had the scope in less than a week (Kansas City). Immediately had First Light the night I received it and was blown away by the results. M57, the Ring Nebula was the first target and in less than 30 seconds, I had full color and striking features of the ring. I then had to test the magnitude limits of the scope and immediately turned my attention to Pluto at 14.6 mag. In 60 seconds, I had a clear view of Pluto and surrounding stars down to 16 magnitude and greater. Not bad for light polluted skies!

Playful, easy to use, efficient, in short a great tube of happiness! (a special Dedication to 12 Parsecs)

The Unistellar scopes are the future of astrophotography. The scopes are light and portable, easy to setup and use. You'll be imaging within minutes. The control app is user friendly and has some nice features. You can also participate in citizen science such as exoplanet transits, asteroid occultations, near Earth object monitoring, cometary activity. The list of what you can do is endless. One caveat is that the citizen science data is not user accessible at this time but can be requested. I've used my eVscope so much more then my previous eight-inch telescope with all the bells and whistles. I'll never go back to the old fashion way of astrophotography.

I’ll start with the negative; some will claim it is expensive. And yes, if you compare the eVscope to any DIY kit you tinkered together yourself, you can likely get more bang for your buck, especially if astrophotography is your thing.
But… the eVscope was never designed to compete with those setups. It excels in the ease of use and automation of a lot of otherwise manual tasks. It is an all-in-one, easy to use, automated, connected, live stacking telescope and with that opens up astronomy to a whole new group of enthusiasts who are in awe of everything there is to discover, see and learn about the universe. Easy to setup in 3 minutes and no travel to dark sites. Everything from the comfort of your own backyard. And THAT is what makes this telescope special. Unistellar aren’t the only ones, but are certainly one of the frontrunners in this field.
You also become part of a network of citizen scientists and can participate in scientific observations and research. I have already participated in a number of campaigns. I had my first eVscope in 2019 and got my second eVscope2 about a year ago. It is amazing and inspiring what these devices can do.

I own the original Ev- Scope. Without question this scope has become very popular especially as a visual scope that I use for outreach. I was very happy with the original app. It was easier to use showing fading soon, upcoming events, etc. The joy stick was ready to go as soon as the scope was initiated with the Autonomous Field Detection. The new app makes it harder to go from one item to another, The joy stick is harder to get to.
I wish you had put more thought into the ease of use that already existed for us original users. I am Still working on the learning curve for the new application which takes longer to get use to and harder to find objects that used to be already categorized.

I have had several telescopes before, mostly 200 mm Schmidt-Cassegrains, but the eVscope outperforms them totally. It is lightweight and is easily transported to outdoor sites. It is very simple to set-up and focus and this only takes less than 10 minutes. Also, alignment with the sky and and general use is very simple and straightforward. This scope is a revolution in astronomical telescope design.

Compared to what I could see from my backyard in suburbia with standard optic manually operated 4 inch aperture scope, that I why I call my original eVscope my Hubble in the backyard.
Quick setup and auto find targets allows viewing of lots within just and hour, or can try long exposures for more detail on targets.
Also impressed by scientific backing of Unistellar. Stunned by Citizen Science accomplishments. I would participate but I am old guy trying to maintain good sleep schedule.
