This was a slightly awkward request because we wanted my grandparents old house marked, but the address has changed and the road layout is different now. There were a few emails and the first proof needed adjusting. I appreciated that they checked rather than just guessing. The final version means a lot to our family.

Our village is quite small and I wasnt sure theyd have anything suitable. They helped find an older map covering the right area, then marked our house. Fascinating seeing how little used to be here.

I couldn't be happier with the bespoke map I purchased from The Unique Maps Co. From start to finish, the whole experience was professional and friendly. I provided a concept image, and the team worked closely with me to create a beautiful, personalised map that perfectly captured my vision.

Went for an old coloured map of the Alps with the 3D effect. I liked the original anyway and wasnt completely sold on paying extra for it. Having seen the finished print, Im glad we did. The shading brings out the mountains without losing the character of the old map.

An excellent collection of rare and visually appealing maps. High quality with a good choice of presentations and all at a competitive price for these special items. Delivered quickly especially considering the maps are produced to order. Recommended.

I bought three maps from here, two unframed and one framed. The website was easy to navigate, each map was exactly as described. All of them arrived quickly and were well packaged - I am so happy with the quality and I would happily buy through there again.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience with The Unique Maps Co.

We ordered a large framed world map for €1,519.20. The shipment already arrived with clearly damaged outer packaging. After unpacking it, we also found that the map was loose and visibly wavy inside the frame, one of the retaining clips was damaged or displaced, and the overall framing quality was far below what we expected from a product in this price range.

We documented everything immediately with extensive photographs and provided the company with all requested evidence.

The seller acknowledged the damage and confirmed to us in writing on 29 September 2026:

“Yes, correct, no need to return, and we would still process the refund.”

Shortly afterwards, we also received:

“Okay, I will begin the refund process.”

Despite these clear written confirmations, we have still not received the refund.

Instead, the refund has repeatedly been linked to the company’s own claim process with DHL. From our perspective, the relationship between the seller and its logistics provider should not result in a customer waiting for weeks for a refund that has already been expressly agreed in writing.

We have repeatedly made clear that the map is still here, unchanged, and can of course be collected at the seller’s expense if required, even though we were expressly told that no return was necessary.

We have now had to involve PayPal. If the refund that was already promised in writing is still not made, we will also instruct a lawyer to pursue the matter.

What is particularly disappointing is that the communication was initially friendly and prompt, yet the refund that was clearly promised has still not been carried out.

For a purchase price of more than €1,500, we expected significantly better product quality and a much more professional handling of the complaint.

Bought the world map showing the land and ocean-floor relief. It's the underwater detail that keeps catching my attention, rather than the countries. Worth pointing out that its a flat print, not a moulded map I knew that before ordering, but the effect is still surprisingly convincing. Very happy with it, though.

I wanted a unique and different present for my Dad. I happened across the Unique Maps website as an advert and was totally impressed with the array of possibilities! I had an idea in mind having found a map very suited to Dad, the team were great in making this a real gift. Service and communication was brilliant, the map and frame are beautiful and superb quality, needless to say, Dad very pleased. Small hiccup with the delivery company, the UMC team were very helpful and resolved in time.

The old US topographic map with the 3D effect was a good choice. We picked an area in Colorado weve walked in. Lovely to recognise the terrain as well as the place names.

I recently purchased a map of Michigan- my home state- to hang on a wall with other art that represents my favorite places.
The customer service was excellent, delivery was quick and I received the nice quality map in a reasonable time. Their website is very easy to use and that is a sign of a company that cares about its customers.

They took down my negative review. They will not refund the $490 I paid for a map I never received. DO NOT use this business. They are dishonest and still have not resolved my issue.

Very simple to order. Map was beautiful. Price was great. Delivery was easy.

First of all the map is beautiful and of very high quality. Receiving it framed was a huge bonus. This was a gift and the customer service I received was amazing. The team ensured I received my package on time for the birthday. This was a great gift for my husband and I’ll be sure to order from here again.

Really impressed with the map I bought: Battle of Trafalgar, The British Fleet breaking the French and Spanish Line: AK Johnston, 1852. The level of detail is fantastic and the overall quality is excellent. I went for the aged customisation, which gives it that slightly weathered look, and it works really well with the map itself. Everything came together nicely and it looks great. Bought it as a gift for someone and they absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend!

The pictures arrived within a week , absolutely beautiful and really pleased. Professional and efficient company.

My husband is a retired Green Beret with over 20 years of service. He enjoys history and this map of the D-day landings was a hit! Easy to read the legend and it's getting a place in our living room!
