Good Customer Recovery, But Initial Order Error

I recently ordered a tea set from Umi Tea Sets (Order #24588) and initially received the wrong design. This was disappointing as it was meant to be a gift and I had selected Express delivery to ensure it arrived in time.

To their credit, their customer service responded quickly once I reached out. They asked for a photo, acknowledged the mistake, and offered a partial refund as an option. I requested that the correct item be resent instead, and they agreed to ship a replacement. The replacement did arrive, which I appreciate.

Communication was polite and responsive, although I did have to follow up a few times for shipping updates and tracking details. I am still awaiting clear instructions on how to return the incorrect item that was originally sent.

Overall, while the initial packing error was frustrating, the issue was resolved and the team was courteous throughout the process. I would recommend them, but I suggest double-checking your order upon arrival and allowing buffer time if purchasing for an important event.

The products from Umi Tea are beautifully crafted and high quality. Despite the careful and elegant packaging, one of the teapots we ordered arrived with a small chip. Being a holiday gift for my partner, I was heartbroken. Thankfully, Umi was quick to respond offering a replacement or full refund. This kind of thoughtful customer service saved the day and really demonstrates the care they take in ensuring a great cuatomer experience.

Being a collector of yixing teapots i found my favourit store and it's called UMItea. Such a great choice of beautiful handcrafted teapots, a treat for your eyes. And it's not alone the teapots. You must try the tea's. Such a great expierience, very high quality.... And the friendly after sales service they give is out of this world. I love my Yixing Lotus tea set. It's beautifully crafted and excellent for serving guests with. Umi also provides excellent customer service. When I broke the fair cup from my set (I blame the cat), they created a special listing specifically for a replacement and the turnaround was fast and professional.

I also have one of their stoneware tea trays with the water feature. Definitely worth a purchase purely for the ambiance.

I placed only one order and I've been very satisfied.
The item (a teapot) is exactly as I saw on the website and it arrived in a fairly short time. The first delivery was not successful and they made sure to check the second one was through.
I think I will make other purchases.

Delightful customer service. I accidentally broke my fine mesh strainer on my new beautiful authentic Chinese tea set and they are sending me a new one as a gift. Very quick response time, accommodating and friendly. And SOOO many types of tea to choose from on their website.

A cup from my set came in broken. Once notified, Customer service was quick to respond. They were very kind and understanding and offered great help.

The ease of ordering and seeing that care was taken in packaging for shipment. The quality of the product is superior and what I wanted to receive. I will probably order from Umi Tea again.

I have purchased a number of their products over the years for friends and family. Makes a perfect gift for all. I especially love that I can make fresh tea in one step by simply placing the tea leaves in the chamber, emerse the chamber into the pot and minutes later you pour the tea into the mug. Eliminates a two step process.

Absolutely beautiful teapots. I use mine nearly daily as a go to for my tea. Wonderful service too.

First my order was delivered to wrong address, but Umi Tea Sets sent me my order again, so I can enjoy my wonderful tea set.

Wrong item was sent to me, i messaged customer service and they replied within a few hours and said theyed send me the correct item and i could keep the wrong one as a gift. What more can you really ask for when things go wrong out of your control. I must highly recommend from my experience. I have had bad experiences of this type with other brands so this was a breath of fresh air. 👌🏻

Beautiful Tea Accessories and Sets. I have a full Gonfu Cha set from them as well as a Tea Boat and Tea Pets and I'm in love with every piece!
Even ordered some tea which was good + had a free sample of Oolong.
They ship very fast and the package is very well protected, so no worry about anything arriving broken.

Will definitely order again!
