I purchased a heavy duty plastic bollard 5 months ago. A crack developed along whole length of bollard, even though wall thickness 12mm. Ultra Secure refused to replace the bollard under its 12 month warranty as they say I have misused the product! I have tried to negotiate but they won’t replace. I have now completed an application to the Small Claims Court to recover the £59 cost of the defective bollard. Beware, their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.

Cheap nasty products.
Technical advice dept ignorant all corespondence on email.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I bought a Unique DA600+ Wireless Alert with 1 x Vertical PIR & 1 x Plug in T Receiver online.
The product wasn't working. I contacted them by phone on 20/10/2025. I was told someone would call me back. On 22/10/2025 I called them again. I was told a new product would be sent out.
After receiving nothing for over a week. I contacted them again on 31/10/2025.
I spoke to the most unprofessional person I have ever had any conversation with. He told me it's nothing to do with him he just works in sales. I asked him to put me in touch with someone who is responsible. He responded by saying, that person is away in Hong Kong. Then said TA DA and hung up the phone.
I will be persuing this through trading standards.

Great company to deal with, had there product working perfectly for 3 years, needed a battery change and couldn't find the special key. They sent one out immediately. Brilliant customer service 👏 👍

I have found the company to be very helpful. One star missing because the products do seem a bit pricey and they aren't the best quality. Look and perform like cheap Chinese made items.

bought the 800m high resistance doorbell. very cheap and low quality inside. made a test with cleaning chemicals and the product got rusty in the screws in each corner and the green bottom in the middle got fill with a white powder from the battery.

could have got a Temu doorbell from 1/5 of the price with the same quality

I was unfortunate to have an electric gate Photocell Beam receiver board go faulty just after the warranty period expired. I contacted Ultra Secure to see if the board could be replaced under warranty and spoke to Peter (Tech Support via email) he couldn't have been more helpful and replaced the board as a gesture of goodwill with no quibble. Customer service like that is very rare these days - five star service.

I had no experience with this company prior to ordering.
I bought a 5 metre security chain and padlock. Very heavy but no postage charges. It arrived 2 days after the order was placed. The box was burst and keys for the padlock could easily have fallen out of the box. But
for the packaging, everything else was quite satisfactory. Better packaging would have gotten five
stars from me.

Quality products and items arrived quickly. Would recommend.

After speaking to a knowledgeable gentleman from Ultra Secure Direct I placed an order for a wireless caravan alarm system on Friday afternoon. Alarm system delivered the following morning (I didn’t even pay for postage as spent more than £75!). To make my life easier, someone from Ultra Secure Direct had even gone to the trouble of syncing all the individual parts - brilliant! System fitted Saturday afternoon, works well. Thank you!

contacted the company who were very helpful ordered the Ultracom 2 intercom which came very fast, the intercom has now been fitted and i a very please the range is very good and the sound quality is also very good the only down side is no way of changing the ring tone or the length of ring time unless i have missed something, i can now get rid of my GSM intercom and my landline as that is what i use with the existing system and just have broadband only as its going that way.

Edit after having problems with the intercom i contacted the company and after lots of emails and trying lots of efforts to solve the problem the company would not replace/refund the intercom but wanted me to return it at my cost so they could test/repair it is up to the company to cover this cost as it was reported within 30 days.

Update after many emails with this company i returned the intercom and received a full refund + pp cost so i have changed opinion of the company.

Excellent security post product and great value for money arrived before estimated date.
We had ordered a security post to secure a caravan and had a couple of little issues. Stuart and the team have gone out of their way to resolve this saving us digging the post up to start again!
The issue was resolved and we were so pleased with the functionality of the post we bought another one.
Great technical advice and such a relief to talk to a human being and not a chat bot! We will definitely use them again for other security devices. Thank you Ultra Secure Direct.

I cannot recommend Ultra Secure Direct highly enough. I am not particularly good with electronic technology and their after sales service has been quite remarkable - well beyond what you might expect.

Customer service 2nd to none, fast responce to emails

One of the best on-line companies that i have dealt with. I wasn't spending a lot of money but they provided technical support and guidance on products (several times) and have even offered to wire up and prepare some components before sending them out. Really pleasant to deal with.

Bought an indoor Wi-Fi cctv camera a year ago.. finally came around to using it only to find out the smartphone software needed is not available in my country, contacted Mark and was told “is being sold as a Dummy Camera as the software is out of date, so we do not recommend using it as a real Camera” - over hundred euro spent for obsolete product

Great service from this company, prompt delivery of items bought and good old fashioned after sales service, would definitely buy from them again and highly recommended.

Very helpful company. a refreshing change to find a company with a technical department that you can call who are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I have purchased various items from this company and have found their service first class. Even when things have gone wrong they have been very helpful and quick to sort the issue. Bought a Protect 800 pack (PIR and Receiver) yesterday and it arrived today and is now up and working. It was very straight forward and came with a letter containing quick install instructions. I'd recommend this product.

Good old fashioned service, I am bad at tech stuff, so called Ultra Secure 3 times to make sure I choose the right alarm, spoke to Richard and Peter who not only helped but offered to set the alarm up for me as much as they could before sending, I also could order over the phone which is great in these days of all online , thank you
