I LOVE Ultalabs

I LOVE Ultalabs! I have been using them for years. Their prises are the best! Their website is very user friendly, their interpretation of the results is very informative and well organised. I highly recomend them!

I canceled a test

I ordered a test, canceled it some time in late February. I received an email saying that my card would be credited. It wasn’t, and now it’s mid-July and nothing.
No one will help me get my money back. I’m retired and on a small fixed income. I just wanted a refund. The chat box only allowed me to ask 1 question. When I contacted them by form, I got the same response as the chat bot. I’d get a lawyer but can’t afford it for $200. I’ll never use this company again. I’m sure I’ll never see my money again either.

Update: Thank you for handling my refund issue and correcting my link to Ulta Labs. Samantha was extremely helpful and professional.

Final Update: I received a refund check. Thanks again, Samantha!

Need a refund as lab order never received at Quest.

Provider unfortunately sent order to Ulta Labs. There is no Ulta Labs in my state. Ulta sent a confirmation to my email that they had forwarded the order to Quest Diagnostics, in my area, but they had not sent the order. I called. It never came through. I called my provider's office and they called Ulta Labs, but Ulta never answered. Quest never received my order, despite receiving a confirmation email from Ulta. Wasted an hour at Quest Labs and the order was never received.

Dangerous and share PHI all over the country

Dangerous, they share all the PHI data with quest diagnostics. There is a company called examone who shares all this information with credit reporting agencies. Its a fraud system where they LIE about keeping the lab details confidential. NOTHING IS CONFIDENTIAL. They share this data amongst multiple partner companies. AVOID

Update 6-25: I spent hours figuring out how ultalabs test were revealed by creditreport agencies.called each and every company involved. You go figure out why you are sharing all the details with them. I am 100% sure labs tests sold by ultalabs is going OUT. Worst part, quest diagnostics does not care nor ultalabs. Only question i was asked is did i sign a hipa with enquiring company, if yes they do give out details to ANYONE. No matter where you take the test. Its a huge chain of companies involved and impossible to track.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The process of purchasing a test was simple, and choosing a provider was just as easy. There were plenty of test options available, and the site made it convenient to find nearby locations. Highly recommend!

Great Experience-Will Use Again

I am a first-time user of Ulta Labs and had a great experience. I initially was looking for patient-ordered tests at labs whose names I recognized. I had never heard of Ulta Labs before but ended up choosing them because I was able to get a lab order for a test that no other patient-ordered lab service in my area offered. (They seem to have the largest selection of patient-ordered lab tests that I've seen in my area. They also had the best prices.) After creating my initial order I wanted to add on another test and I was able to do that online with no hassle. (I made the change a couple days before my appointment. I think I saw that you can't change your order the same day as your appointment. That might just be making online changes. I can't remember.) Then I needed to change my lab appointment time and I was able to do that online as well. I went to the lab and my lab order and appointment were honored with no problem. I got all of my test results back online in a little over 24 hours. In my case the test results trickled in and I received email notifications as they became available. I got one test result back an hour or two after my appointment, then another later that afternoon, then another one in the evening, and then another one the next day. (Note that the estimated time to receive test results is indicated in the description for each test.) When I've had tests done directly at labs I've usually received all my test results at once. I'm not sure if I received them one-at-a time because that's how this particular lab works, or if each test result had to be reviewed by Ulta Labs before made available to me. No matter, I still had a good experience and will use Ulta Labs again.

I far prefer Ulta to Labcorp

I far prefer Ulta to Labcorp. The site is easy to navigate. Help is available to sort out the most economical way to order tests. The technicians who do the blood draws know what they are doing and are ready to help customers. (A special shout out to Loni at Superior CO who saved the day when she went out of her way to take care of me on 04/02/25 after I arrived for tests I needed that day prior to a med change, having mistakenly made my online reservation for the following day, which would have been too late.) Finally, the lab results are always reported quickly.

Easy, affordable, simple

Really affordable I thought it was too good to be true. Easy and as quick as anywhere else. Definitely cheaper. Only problem with these sites (ALL of them) is they make you print out a sheet. I wish I could scan a code or something. But that’s more on the Quest Diagnostics side

Fast and awful support!

Generally they’ve done a good job. But when something goes wrong, their support, while responsive, is worthless.

Long and short - I order labs for 3 people. Same order.

All samples collected at the same day, place, and time.

2 of those 3 people got results days ago. Yet, mine have not resulted. Their staff just continue to send the same nonsense answer; just wait another day.

They refuse to give any confirmation that the samples were not lost, nor any other helpful information whatsoever.

The only recourse is to contact Quest directly to get answers. Totally unacceptable.

This is an outstanding service

This is an outstanding service. It is easy to find tests, order tests, and print the order for taking to Quest. Quest is right on board and knows what to do. Results come back fast and are easy to review on Ultalabs website. I did have a question at one point and customer service was excellent! Most important from this service is I have learned so much from the specific tests I have ordered. This goes way beyond what I would normally get from my annual tests and gives me excellent benchmarks and tracking status for my health span and life span improvement.

Great Lab!

I love using Ulta Lab for getting blood work done. They are very efficient, knowledgeable, and the results come back very quick! It's great that you don't have to wait until your doctor decides to order a lab test, you can do it yourself.

Easy and Fast

Easy and fast. Only place I could find that had human agents in ready to speak with me on the website instead of an AI chatbot that only has a handful of prompts and only has answers like “yes”, “no”, or “sorry, please say an easier question”. Didn’t need to reestablish care at all dr office then have an appointment to assess my new needs and then let the dr schedule the labs. Saved me like a month or more worth of time honestly.

Oh, and I went to a Quest site to actually get the blood drawn etc. I think Ulta is just a way to order these without all the insurance and doctor fluff.
