From start to finish our experience with Ullyett glazing was so easy- quick to respond to any communication and installation was quick too- we would highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future for our other windows-it has been so lovely dealing with a double glazing company that are genuinely nice people!!

We did a lot of research into having new windows installed. I’m so glad we found Ullyett Glazing. A small family firm, which is what we were looking for, who provided a good quality product made in the UK. Vitally, as we were on a budget, they were extremely competitive too.
We had the whole house done. We were offered as much advice & input as we wanted including a remote quote & a digital picture of how the finished job would look.
A lovely man then came to do a physical measure up.
We also had French doors put in to replace a rear facing window & honestly, it looks like it’s always been there.
I was concerned about such a huge intrusion into our home as I suffer from ME & knew it would be difficult for me. We were also having other work done at the same time, which was crazy.
I discussed all this with our window fitter who took it all into account & did everything he could to make it easier. All in all, it was a positive experience with an amazing result.
When it was all finished we were left with a more secure house, (the ease with which our old windows were removed was a shock), more light as we chose a design with less frame, and we have noticed it’s quieter too.
We have already received compliments on the new look.
All this and they took all evidence that they had ever been here with them.
I can’t recommend Ullyett Glazing highly enough. Credit where it’s due, they did us proud.

Jamie, the owner of the company came to give a quote for new double glazing throughout the house. He brought with him a sample of the windows he uses, which was good to see up close. He was happy to spend time talking about the product and answering any question. I liked his attention to detail and that he took a genuine interest in the job, giving his thoughts and professional advice freely on matters I hadn’t really thought about before. I thought the price he quoted was fair, considering the quality of the windows.

Our installer, Ben was a pleasant and friendly chap. He worked hard to ensure that the work was completed within the timescale agreed. The windows and sliding door look really good now they are all fitted, the handles are solid and feel expensive. The finishing off of the windows is good.

The surveyor who came to measure up for the new windows noticed that, in order to comply with Building Regulations and get a Fensa Certificate we needed a new lintel above the sliding door. The previous installation had not done this! Again, it’s good to have that attention to detail so you can have confidence that the job will be done properly.

This is a local small business, which I always like to support whenever I can and certainly, from my dealings with it so far, I would recommend Ullyett Double Glazing company.

Jamie was helpful with ideas and suggestions, and was always available for consultation. We were happy with the price, and the installation was done carefully and to an excellent standard.

Jamie and his team were great from start to finish. Helping us choose a front door within our price range, measuring and fitting all at a time convenient with us. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and will definitely be using Ullyett Glazing again when we need to replace our windows.

Jamie and his installer turned up prompt and worked relentlessly to ensure that my bi-folds and lantern were installed in a single day so my house was both secure and watertight for our new extension.

From start to finish our experience with Ullyett glazing was first class. Jamie was extremely professional and courteous throughout the process and was able to advise and recommend many different options to us before settling on a style we were really happy with. He has good experiance and was able to give us good advice on the style of windows we could have. We have a bay window as well which are not the easiest to work with but we were very happy with the end result.

Ben, one of the fitters who works with Ullyett glazing was extremely professional and very knowleadgeable. He got the job done efficiently and to a high standard and was clearly very experienced.

We had a slight issue with the locking mechanism on our new door which was a little tempremental but Jamie was great in getting it resolved and getting a replacement mechanism from the fabricator fitted which worked perfectly.

All in all a smooth experience, Jamie kept us informed the whole time and worked with us to minimise the disruption of the works carried out. Definitely recommend this fantastic and highly profrssional small local company.

Very organised and professional friendly installers excellent job

I wanted a window installed into my garage wall and so contacted 4 local [to Whitstable, Kent] glazing companies. As this was not a more straightforward window replacement, or a window into a new build, I needed someone who had builders who could knock out the wall, install a lintel, make good, remove the rubble, build the window framework and then install a window. Three companies came round to provide quotes which varied enormously in price. Most of the quotes i got required me to do some of the work including removing my own rubble [one company requested that i installed the lintel myself!] so it was difficult to compare like with like and i didn’t feel at all confident that they understood what was involved - or even wanted the job. I was close to giving up but decided to give an unknown [to me] company a go so I gave Jamie Ullyett at Ullyett Glazing a call. Jamie visited me and spent a good hour meansuring, taking details and really getitng to understand all my requirements. I was immediately assured that this guy knew what he was up to and had a team of builders and surveyors who could do a complete job. Jamie sent me a fair estimate of the complete job. This wasn’t the cheapest [but the cheaper esptimates did not involve doing the whole job] but it was not the most expensive by quite a margin. A week later Jamie returned with his surveyor and as a result of the survey he adjusted the requirements of the job but without increasing his original estimate.

Six weeks later the frame, lintel and all the other materials were delivered to me and the following day Jamie came back with his builders. Jamie oversaw the entire work done by the builders and was at pains to ensure that I was happy with progress every step of the way. The two builders were brilliant; efficient, hard working and extremely polite. They took away the rubble as promised and cleaned up the site after, even polishing the window.

I could not recommend Jamie of Ullyett Glazing more highly. Utterly professional, good value for money and such a nice guy as well! 5 stars at least!!

Initial contact was through a door to door marketing exercise, which was helpful as we had been thinking for some time about remodelling our internal doors.

At the initial appointment we discussed various options and agreed our design.

At each step, we were kept informed and the team who we worked with, were all helpful and professional.

Installation was completed 2 days ago and we're very happy with the results.

Currently thinking through our next project for later this year.

At the outset I had reservations about using a company that doesn't have a manufacturing site, or a showroom.
Jamie's business model is nevertheless utterly efficient, professional and his quotations are extremely competitive. He outsources the various aspects of the job, oversees it with meticulous attention, uses high quality manufacturing, (Rehau windows in this instance) and the installation deadline was met with 3 weeks to spare. Order to installation took less than 7 weeks. So overall I am extremely pleased that I trusted reviews that I'd read, and am confident in recommending his services to future potential customers.
