Business travel networking site i gave great reviews until i realised what fraudster's they really are ..... Please go somewhere else fast !!!

Sadly no refund nor communication I am in a legal process against this company. DO NOT SENT BILL PAYMENT THROUGH YOUR BANK THEY WILL NOT REFUND IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG.

We started using uk web design in April last year paid £600.00 up front, after emails and many promises he said all ready so paid another £600.00 in Sept last year totaling £1200.00 after missing our Christmas sales based on the new web site we got no response, i tried to resolve by giving him more time but all i got was just finishing this an that, still no sign of my completed web site so we have put them into county court an are awaiting our full refund.

He has now closed UK Web Design Shop - Beware and do your research before having anything to do with him - You can get his details from Company Check / Companies House

To Trustpilot: I have e-mailed you a copy of the Judgment from the County Court and a copy of UK Web Design Shop's e-mail to me saying they would have no problem refunding me).

I paid UK Web Design Shop a £549 deposit in November to design an interactive site within one month, but 3 months later nothing had been done. The owner just kept using delaying tactics (he was ill or his colleague would be in touch - but I never had a number or e-mail address for his colleage and he never contacted me - did he exist?) and the owner never produced anything, except on one occasion gave me a link to a standard template which contained irrelevant questions and was not remotely similar to the bespoke site I had been promised. That was all. Just that one link to a one page standard template. The site I was asking for, and he told me he could do, had various interactive pages. Finally I had to move with my project and realised it was going nowhere with them so I asked for my money back. I heard nothing back from them so took it to the Small Claims Court, still they didn't respond, so got Judgment against them, and I am now pursuing the matter through the High Court and Enforcement Agencies.

After the owner received the Small Claims Court Judgment he contacted me saying he had no problem refunding me the money but could I give him a couple of weeks as he had been seriously ill for the past couple of months; so l gave him a chance to repay me my deposit and said I would stop proceedings if he refunded me straight away, but he didn't. And I've heard nothing further from him.

However during the 2 months that he said he had been ill I noticed various reviews on Trustpilot which showed that he must have been working during those 2 months he said he was ill. Whatever the situation, he should have refunded me the money I had paid him as he never produced the website and he as much as admitted that when he emailed me saying he had no problem refunding me my money.

I managed to make contact with four other people who had had similar experiences with UK Web Design Shop (found them all via Facebook) and we've all had the same excuses from them, have all reported our cases to the Police Fraud Department as we're all trying to get our money back. So my experience with UK Web Design Shop was a terrible one and hasn't just lost me my money but hours of wasted time and lost months on my project.

We contacted Dan to revamp our existing web site. From the outset, he was extremely helpful and provided us with ideas to enhance our previous site.

Found online just wanted a quick boost to my online presence. Had a medium sized package and they went way beyond my expectations. To start with they wanted access to the website we were a bit worried about this but they logged in and asked to change some of the code in wordpress after the website is now faster and comes up in searches which is exactly what we wanted.

This company over delivered, we just wanted our website updated and they went overboard modernising our logo, sourcing images and rewriting text for the pages. We have seen an increase in contact over the past few months and its great. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Instructed ukwebdesign to build me an ecommerce site was told £1300 which would include two months of Seo and marketing, 10 months on I still have no website, I was sent a log in to an incomplete website which was masked through their companies site and my domain still sitting at go daddy this was after threatening to request my money back as four or more deadlines had passed, It was rushed and although previously gave them worldpay login details and sent worldpay permission to speak with them back in may, they hadn't bothered even calling to even intergrate this, and blamed Liam for the problem then had the nerve to tell me that I had told them I didn't want it intergrating no I didn't want it to go live !!! Big difference. I can't tell you what to do when instructing this company for your web needs I can only give my opinion and give my experience!!

We are glad we chose this company as they really did help us. The way they work is different but it works for us. Response times are a lot faster than most which is great previously we waited more than two weeks for a response from our previous supplier. The website we have is great, the time taken to build was no more than a month and took our ideas and made them a reality.

Really like the video SEO reviews like others they could fix the volume a bit but still great.

Our website was optimised recently for the Birmingham area and we used to get 1 or 2 enquiries we are now getting 10 times that.

The company has changed since we started but for the better. Fees have gone up but they do with most businesses. The results out weigh the cost so isn't a problem.

The support is good we usually get a response in minutes and wait about a day for issues to be addressed.

We have just renewed our hosting, the price has gone up but only by a few pounds. Having had the site a year we did ask for a few tweaks to some text and some image changes. It only cost an hours rate and was done the same day. We've also started receiving video reviews instead of PDFs and I finally understand seo a bit more.

Brilliant service. I approached UK Web Design Shop for support to update my website. I am a bit of a technology phobe but the owner was very patient and helpful with tutorials and supplied me with step-by-step tutorials in management and additions. The video tutorials provided were personal and tailored to my needs. I was extremely happy with the service provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
