The procedure was explained well beforehand by the staff. The friendliness and professionalism of the doctor and two nurses put me at my ease and I felt well supported and cared for throughout.
I particularly appreciated the phonecall and emails I received before the procedure and the follow up emails afterwards.

My assessment went very well with Dr Smith in Reading. He went through and explained to me about my treatment i need. Very explanatory and helpful.

I have booked to have my treatment done in Harley Street in April .

The whole process was very prompt. The scan was scheduled just weeks after enquiry. The results of the scan and required surgery were clearly explained including the recovery and aftercare. The procedure was also promptly booked and I attended the Berkshire clinic where I was impressed with the standards of the building and the staff. The surgery itself took less than an hour and could be described more as uncomfortable than painful. I received all the information that I needed for the aftercare both verbally and via email with contact details to answer any questions.

The UK Vein Clinic instilled in me the confidence to get on with sorting out my varicose veins. I cannot stress how thorough, professional and kind all the teams I have interacted with have been.
I am now three weeks post procedure and my legs are progressing as expected.
As many people have commented in their reviews before, don’t put off sorting out your veins when the process and procedure is so easy to manage.
I have to extend my thanks to the Reading team who looked after to me so well on the day. I really appreciated being managed by such a professional and skilled team.

I had my initial treatment in December, followed by a second session last week. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the highly skilled work of the vascular surgeons and support nurses, I always felt I was in very capable hands. Everything is explained clearly, with no hard sell — you’re given all the information you need to make informed decisions about your treatment.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the results. My leg looks 100% better! I’ve already recommended UK Vein Clinic to a friend because, based on my experience, their work is top notch and they will genuinely take good care of you.

I never used to wear anything that showed off my legs....for context im an athletic women of size 10 build. I used to hate my legs. My friends would never understand why I didnt get them out when I train alot and have what they describe as a "lovely physique'. I hated my bumpy legs...which...after child birth became even worse. I went to vein clinic and although I found the remote reception a bit weird, it was good. All the doctors and nurses I encountered were lovely. I did have one at my review who was a bit dismissive but it didnt matter as when I went in for my 2nd dose of foam they rescanned the problem areas I had identified and confirmed I was right and dealt with the areas. My legs are not 100% perfect...but nothing ever is. However my confidence has sky rocketed as for my birthday i went to butlins and dressed as wonder woman...with my legs out. Id not have dreamed of doing that a year ago. Its changed my life....and im glad I did it.

It was a surprise to met such a senior surgeon doing the procedure. Senior reader in surgery at a university hospital, essentially Professor. Ed Sideso was engaging and down to earth and patient.

The whole procedure was remarkably efficient and over and done in under fifteen minutes, absolutely no problem, with no pain.
Excellent service, then pleasant drive home and 48 hours later all well.
As a retired medic I well remember my days stripping varicose veins in the early 1970, often thought it sounded a bit barbaric in those old days.
However this whole procedure is simple, sophisticated and state of the art, what progress!
