Great professional staff and very friendly. From the first appointment to scan the leg and discuss with the GP it was only a couple of weeks until the procedure. Ed and the nurses were super and the treatment was very quick as well as painless. Shame about Ed’s choice of football team though ( Arsenal) he was showing off a bit because they beat my team 6-0!! All joking aside, best money I have ever spent. Leg looks great and a friend of mine had hers done at Maidenhead due to my experience.

From my first telephone conversation with The Veins Clinic, I received excellent service. They are a very friendly and professional team. I made an appointment for the next day to have a scan and consultation, which was very thorough. A few days later, a second appointment was booked to carry out the surgery. For my condition (phlebitis just below my left knee, which was very painful when standing), this is usually about six weeks from the consultation.

However, Mr Sideso (Vascular Surgeon) reviewed the initial scans and photographs and recommended that I had the surgery as soon as possible. This was the next day. I received excellent care from the vascular nurses before, during and immediately after surgery. The surgery was very successful and the pain was immediately relieved. It was amazing to walk away from the clinic pain free.

I had a follow up appointment with Mr Sideso ten weeks later - the scan confirmed that the surgery was successful and no further treatment necessary. The phlebitis was healing very well.

I was very impressed with the whole experience of the service I received from The Veins Clinic - I would strongly recommend them.

My whole experience with the UK Vein Clinic was very good from start to finish.
The initial consultation was very professional with the ultrasound diagnosis of the vein issues in my two legs explained in full. Additionally the pros and cons of proceeding with treatment were clearly spelt out.
The initial treatment was pretty quick and there was hardly any pain, just pinpricks from the foam injections.
I had a follow up consultation and some more foam injections but I did not experience any post-treatment pain or swelling on either
stage.
Both my legs look so much better.

I was very impressed with the nurses that were present at my treatment. They were friendly and very supportive and helped me a lot . Also very good with follow up phone calls to check that I was ok .

From the initial phone call, everyone treated me politely and answered all my questions. Everything was clearly explained at all stages of the treatment . All staff were very kind when I was feeling nervous. I am so pleased with the result on both legs and am now confident to wear skirts again and shorts to play sport. Thank you!

I’ve been wanting to get my varicose veins done for years but was scared of the treatment involved. I looked up several clinics and was pulled towards the Vein Clinic as it had so many excellent reviews. As my veins were getting worse, I took the plunge and contacted the Vein Clinic in Maidenhead. From the initial phone call to the treatment after I found all the staff to be friendly and professional and easy to talk to. I had both legs scanned at the Maidenhead clinic where they were really friendly and made me feel at ease- there was never any pressure to proceed with treatment. I then had the treatment ( radiofrequency ablation and foam sclerotherapy) in the Reading clinic with Dr Howard. I was really nervous but was put at ease as each step was explained to me. Lead nurse Vanessa was a God send and kept me occupied by chatting with me and so did the other nurse. They made me feel looked after and I felt I was in the best hands possible. The actual procedure hardly pained. I felt a few scratches and later like my leg was heavy as if a weight was on it, but nothing very painful or uncomfortable which I was very surprised. I was then bandaged and had the compression stockings put on and could easily walk out without any discomfort. All the after care was explained and sent again via email and then another email the next day to see how I was. I am so happy and grateful that I chose this clinic after reading reviews. I was looked after by the most friendly staff who made me feel at ease and cared for. My only regret was that I didn’t do this sooner! It’s been a week and my legs are already looking a lot better ! I will have a follow up appointment in 11 weeks where I shall update my experience. I would like to express a big thank you to Vein clinic.

Dr Sideso was professional, friendly and gave me the time and explanations that I needed to make informed decision's. His secretary Angela was most accommodating and thorough. The nurses during the procedures were knowledgeable, friendly and put me at ease. The aftercare was very thorough and gave me piece of mind that they were always available if necessary.
The result has improved the quality of my life aswell as improved my confidence.
