I've had two surgeries from UK HTC and both were excellent. The consultations were really helpful. They don't over-promise on what is possible with surgery so you know exactly what you'll be getting.... See more

We are NOT UK Hair Transplants based out of Walsall / Birmingham - Please check before reviewing! UK Hair Transplant Clinics is registered and regulated with the Government’s “Care Quality Commission” (CQC). The CQC’s role is to ensure that the hair transplant clinic providing the treatment meets the required standards and is performed in a safe environment. Not only are you protected by the fact that we are clinically governed but also because we offer a unique treatment guarantee. We are one of the only clinics in the UK that offers and upholds a guarantee on every hair transplant. We are able to do this as we are selective on those we think are suitable candidates for surgery. From the thousands of consultations we have done over the years only 40% of them are suitable for surgery as in our opinion suitable means being able to achieve a great result. If we deem you are unsuitable for hair transplant, this doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do for you, we have a wide range of non-surgical solutions we can offer. If you are just starting to thin we can offer products to lower the chance of you losing anymore or if you have receded to a Norwood 7 there’s alternative ways to create coverage. Patient care & needs at the heart of every decision
I recently underwent my second procedure with UK and the service is second to none.
4 years ago I had my hairline touched up and was a major success, I therefore knew precisely who I was going to contact once I realised my crown was thinning - UK hair transplant clinic.
From my first meeting with Paul who thoroughly explained all my options, Chelsea the attentive and patient coordinator, all the way through to Dr Elgindi who was thorough, honest and extremely personable (which can’t be said for all surgeons) the service was nothing short of fantastic.
UK Hair Clinic Manchester
I recently had a hair transplant with Dr Elgindi, he put me at ease on the day and made the experience as comfortable as possible. Post op I have also received great aftercare from my patient coordinator Chelsea who guided me through the various care stages necessary in the weeks after the op. Whilst it’s still early days I am very happy with the results so far.

Customer service is excellent, after care has been excellent and Tatiana my surgeon and her colleagues were unbelievable. Cannot recommend enough so far as I'm only two weeks in.😀
Excellent Hair Transplant Experience
I had my hair transplant done at UK Hair Manchester last week and I would like to thank Dr Elgindi and all his team (Ali, Mollie, Rosa, Judith and Chelsea in the aftercare department) for all the work they have done and how easy they have made the whole experience for me.
They made me feel that the patient comes first and they made sure that I knew what was happening at every stage of the process.
If you are thinking about getting a hair transplant this is the place to do it!
Dr Elgindi and uk hair team
I had my procedure with Dr Elgindi,
his technicians on the day were Mollie and Ali.
Chelsea was my patient coordinator who kept me updated and informed me of what would happen on the day and what I’d need to do the week before. I can honestly say the information she provided made it all a comfortable experience.
On the day of the procedure I was thinking of backing out of it due to myself being anxious and nervous about operation on the day.
I explained all my concerns to doctor Elgindi about the way I was feeling and he made me feel at total ease and after explaining what he was going to do he drew lines of where grafts would be put and where they’d be took from,
So I decided to go ahead
Dr Elgindi, Mollie and Ali made sure I was not in any pain or unease during the operation and kept me informed what was going on at all times(not to mention putting the classic movie FIGHT CLUB on for me😁).the whole procedure took only about 5 hours for me, I was relaxed and in no pain the entire time.
Chelsea has been available day/night to answer any questions that I have and has made me feel like I was her top priority.
I would highly recommend dr Elgindi and UK hair to anyone who is considering having more hair put in so they can have a better haircut😁👍
A really professional company
Can’t speak highly enough of them
Thank you

Poor company
These reviews are a good few years after my actual procedures , but since that time has past iv had time to reflect and also seen a lot of my friends get much better results in Turkey and for a fraction of the price I got charged , so I want to make people aware of ukhairtransplantclinics and how they operate. My first procedure was a F.U.T for 1800 grafts back in November 2016 on which I was quoted £3900 ,, I found that very expensive at the time and if it were now I’d obviously never pay that , but we’r going back 7 years ago and they definitely weren’t as common as they are now. My procedure was in Nottingham and my surgeon on the day was a doctor Harris Haseeb , who I will say seemed good but the communication between the clinic and himself was dreadful , all he had to go on one was one grainy black and white photo of my hair and no other information at all , so he can only work with what he’s got I suppose. The procedure also seemed rushed and it didn’t look like I had received 1800 grafts. As soon as I was done it almost seemed like they wanted me out of there as soon as possible , which then made sense as upon being ushered out the surgery there was another patient waiting to go in , so that’s obviously why. Then that was me I received a small bag with some antibiotics , sent on my way and got told I’d have a 6 month review “on which on the 6 month mark” I actually had to contact them , as they didn’t get back in touch with me. I followed all the after care treatment , but for what ever reason my treatment wasn’t a success , and I couldn’t help but think I’d just wasted £3900.
So after a lot of going back and fourth ukhairtransplantclinics agreed that it hadn’t “fully” worked out , in other words they meant a certain percentage of the grafts had set but a lot hadn’t as well. So the options they gave me were another F.U.T procedure , we’re they’d reopen my scar and give me 1000 grafts for free , or they would give me a F.U.E procedure also for 1800 grafts at a additional cost of £2500.
I wasn’t keen on having my scar re-opened so I reluctantly went for option 2 , baring in mind the total cost is now at £6400! So after an initial meeting a few months prior , come January 2019 I went for my second procedure with a Dr Vikas Kunnure , In Manchester. like Dr Harris he seemed ok , but that rushed element seemed present again and it’s as if they were on a timeline to get it done. After the procedure he told me that they managed to actually fit 2200 grafts , instead of the 1800 but I really struggled to see this as there were big spaces he had left and I remember asking him about this and he assured me it would be fine….
my case manager at the time a “Judith bainbridge” assured me that after the 18 month mark the full results would show , well it’s fair to say they never did! It’s also worth noting About a year after my procedure , there was an article in the Sun newspaper about surgeons leaving bad hair transplants within the U.K and Dr Vikas Kunnure was mentioned. Now I’m fully aware you can’t believe everything you read in the paper and especially all be it the Sun , but it certainly didn’t do anything for my confidence seeing this. I’m sure the article will still be online if you search for it. You also soon find out that a lot of these surgeons work on a self employed “agency” basis to such company’s like ukhairtransplantclinics and don’t actually work for them full time! It wasn’t until recently that i’d seen a few of my mates who’d had procedures done in Turkey , that I realise how ripped of I was! I’m not saying my grafts were incorrectly planted , I just know they didn’t put in as much as they charged me for , and For £6400 I’v basically got nothing to show for it and could have gone over to Turkey and got close to 10,000 grafts for that price , and from what iv seen with my own eyes the results are brilliant.
Paul and Nigel who you have your consultations with are nice enough guys , but again they’re just “salesmen” please don’t misinterpret these guys for experts , as they really aren’t. All you are to them is a £ sign and they get commission on every patient who books up through them , all they do is tell you what you want to hear instead of being honest. Why iv waited a few years to leave this review I can’t honestly answer , maybe I just stupidly thought the longer I waited that the hair mite eventually come in.
I also personally opted against taking “finasteride” due to the possible side affects that come with them. Again they’ll try convince you that it’s only a “small” percentage that suffer from it , but I’d definitely advise anyone to do there own research first before taking it as the side effects can be irreversible once started. If they try to remove my review as well , il keep re-posting it as I paid this company £6400 so I’m more than entitled to my honest review and opinion on them as a company and my experience. God bless Kevin

Reply from UK Hair Transplant Clinics
Outstanding!!!
Im just shy of a week post op with UKHair so very early doors with my journey, but I can honestly say though, at this present moment in time from the start, the team have been great in all departments at UKHair, Lindsey, Nigel, Ashleigh, thank you 😊 A huge appreciation for Dr Tetiana Mamontova and her team of ladies, who made me feel so at ease and heard on the day of my surgery; within half an hour of meeting them at the Nottingham clinic, I knew I was in safe hands and it was an enjoyable day and experience 😊 A massive shout out to Chelsea, my patient coordinator who has been nothing but supportive and reassuring throughout these last few weeks, she has truly been amazing guiding me through everything!!! 🥰 I’ll be sure to write another review at the end of my journey, thank you 😊
Fantastic from start to finish
Earlier in the year I was looking into a hair transplant. I wasn’t sure where to begin, I read that you can go abroad and you get it done over there but was unsure about the aftercare if I needed to contact anybody, or even just to speak to someone over the phone if I had any questions in general. I came across
UK Hair transplants I was put far more at ease with their stance of looking after the patient and high standards of after care.
I went to speak to a consultant from UK hair transplants clinics (zoom video call before that) and was put at ease as I was speaking to someone face to face.
I decided to take the plunge and made an appointment for the hair transplant itself. What I liked appreciated the most before the surgery (December 2023) I could contact the company when I had any questions. I spoke to Chelsea and Kelsey and they very helpful.
I arrived for my surgery and Met Mani (Dr Mittal) Mani was absolutely fantastic as he was very welcoming and it was a relaxed atmosphere I was walked through what would happen that day. I then met the 3 technicians in the operating room. Alicia, Natasha and Nicky. I was well looked after by the team we were and chatting throughout the day and making jokes. The team was OUTSTANDING as they treated me like a person and talked to me what was happening at certain points of the operation itself. I would mark 6 out of 5 stars if trust pilot would let me.
The after care has been fantastic. Mani walked me through what to do in the next few days how to sleep how to wash my hair (goodie bag included before I left leaflet aswell the do’s and dont’s.) i was sent messages by the UK Hair Transplant clinics team what do and not to do after surgery. I’ve been contacted be Chelsea in the past couple of weeks to check up how I’m getting on and what to do on day 3, 5 , 7 and so on.
I’m healing up really well and can’t wait to see the full results in the next few months.

Absolutely Phenomenal
I had Dr Elgindi and the lovely technicians that were Mollie and Ali Not to forget Chelsea the excellent patient coordinator. I can comfortably say this is by far the finest and most comfortable experience I have ever had in a medical environment.
Dr Elgindi, Mollie and Ali made sure all of my needs were met and were an absolute pleasure to talk to. Despite the whole thing taking over 8 hours, I was relaxed and in no pain the entire time. Chelse has been available day or night to answer any questions I have and has made me feel like my well being is her top priority.
I would highly recommend this team and UK hair to anyone.
Do NOT panic about pain or needles.
I'm 24 years old and had my hair transplant with UK Hair on the 10th of November 2023. I got ~2,300 grafts.
Hopefully this review helps people calm their nerves and be less scared about the entire procedure. If you're nervous of any pain or discomfort, DON'T BE.
When I first went ahead to get my hair transplant, I had a video consultation with Nigel. This lasted about 10-15 minutes, he explained the cost and how the procedure would work with me. He made the process simple and answered any questions I had. He recommended I start taking Finasteride, so I decided to go ahead with this - please ask about any side effects to Nigel, there are some people may be concerned about it, but I wasn't so much & I have suffered no side effects from this at all. This is also where you will pay your deposit and be quoted for your grafts.
A few weeks later, I then attended my in person consultation in Glasgow. The only issue I had here is that I found out I needed more grafts than initially quoted, so I had to pay a large additional sum of money. Luckily I had money saved, so wasn't so much of a problem - but definitely could be for less fortunate people. Paul, who did this consultation was professional and checked my donor area to ensure I was a suitable candidate for this procedure. I was only here for around 10 minutes and it was another easy process.
Then, on the 10th of November, I went in for my surgery in Manchester, extremely nervous, so much so I was shaking. Dr Tatianna and her team are extremely welcoming and will make you feel at ease as well as answer any questions that you have. Before the procedure she drew out my desired hairline to my needs and then gave me some antibiotics and diazepam.
You then lay face down and the anaesthetic is injected into the back of your head a few times. To anyone reading this worried, please don't. You will feel a very, very slight nip of the anaesthetic, but the needle itself is painless. After this is done, the donor extraction is literally painless - I felt nothing. This part took around 2.5 hours in my case and it's just a case of moving on your back and sides a few times so that the Doctor can extract.
Once this part is done, you then get anaesthetic on the top of your head and you get to watch a film of your choice. They then made incisions (took about 20 minutes I'd say). The anaesthetic and needle are again, very slightly nippy, but very bearable. Again, after this, everything is absolutely painless.
After the incisions they implanted the grafts, I suppose how long this takes depends on how many grafts you get, but in my case it was about 3.5 hours - it flies in when you're watching a film.
After that, the surgery is over and in my experience there was absolutely no pain whatsoever up until now, 1 week later. The worst part of it for me, was the swelling, this is painless but extremely annoying. It travelled down my face for about 2 days, then entirely disappeared. This will happen to anyone though who gets this surgery, but again, no pain in the aftercare process.
After 1 week, I am now in routine of washing my hair gently (and finally off of that neck pillow), but the difference I can already see in my hairline is crazy, the results really are good. Chelsea, my coordinator has called me a good few times to catch up and answer any questions I have, which has been a great help.
I hope this review helps someone who might be as nervous as I was before any of this, but trust me, none of it is as bad as you're thinking - especially the needles, which you won't even see.
If it lets me, I will update this review monthly :)
Thank you again to UK Hair, Dr Tatianna and her team, as well as Chelsea.
Tetiana was fantastic
Tetiana was fantastic, made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Her experience was obvious so I felt in safe hands. The procedure itself was also done very professionally, I was always told about each step of the surgery before it happened which made me feel even more comfortable and the whole thing didn’t seem to take too long either. I also didn’t feel a thing! All the nurses were brilliant as well, friendly and professional. Very pleased with the overall experience so far and remain confident I’ll be pleased with the end results. Highly recommend.
Very ethical company
Very ethical company, due to circumstances, I needed the returning of my deposit which they were prompt with, this helped me to avoid a awkward situation

Very happy with procedure.
My experience was made great by very nice and competent staff. The procedure went smoothly, everything was explained and the aftercare has been very comforting to have. There was no pain or discomfort during the procedure and I am very satisfied with the results at this time
Highly reccommend.
Everyone in the clinic were great. Every receptionist I spoke to were lovely and very helpful towards me. The three doctors that done my hair transplant were some of the nicest, friendliest doctors I've ever met who quickly put any worries I had at ease. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hair transplant as it's very affordable and safe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the day I was supposed to have 1530 graphs but in the end I had 1701 graphs .
From my first video call with Nigel who was brilliant and then meeting Ashleigh who also was brilliant and my patient co-ordinator Chelsea who has gone above and beyond with everything from the start of this journey to the present as she has been in contact everyday to see how I am and advise on the aftercare I can't thank you enough.
