I just spent a fabulous day with the team at UK Detailing Academy attending my one day Enthusiast Detailing Course.
Being car crazy I didn’t realize how much there was to learn about cleaning and caring for paintwork - I do now and cannot recommend how enjoyable and informative the day was.

On the 12th of January, I attended a 4-day Level 1 Motorbike and Car Detailing course with UK Detailing Academy as a first step towards starting my own business. Being a woman in a predominantly male industry, I was a little nervous beforehand, but I honestly didn’t need to be.
Rich and Ian were fantastic — friendly, laid back, and incredibly supportive. They created a relaxed learning environment that made the whole experience enjoyable and confidence-boosting. Not only was the practical training spot on, but the business advice was also extremely valuable and has really helped me believe in my next steps.
I’m so glad I chose UK Detailing Academy and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting into the industry. I’m already planning to go back to complete Levels 2 and 3.

I recently attended the level 1 car detailing course, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. The content and structure were second to none—everything was clearly explained and well-organised during both theory and practical lessons. Each module covered exactly what I needed to know to get started in the detailing industry, from foundational techniques to more advanced skills.
The instructor was knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which made the learning experience even better. I came away feeling fully prepared and confident to begin my own detailing journey.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enter the world of car detailing or sharpen their existing skills.

The Coarse i attended was Level 1 & 2 to include machine polishing.
I can’t thank both Richard & Ian enough for what i learned during my 5 days in their company and many useful tips which i didn’t even know.
Great knowledge and experience both Richard & Ian have given me to take onto my next chapter within my new business adventure.
Once i get up to a standard and develop then im sure i will be back to further my skills especially machine polishing.
Thank you both for making the 5 days enjoyable and your both doing a great job, thank you for all the tea, biscuits & cake during my stay.

I attended the 3 day 1 on 1 level one detailing course. Rich and Ian are both extremely knowledgable and very personable in their approach to training. From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable and was made to feel at ease. The structure of the course was fantastic with the right amount of classroom to hands on learning and a lot of thought has clearly gone into what they can achieve in the 3 days before your brain turns into jelly, whether a complete beginner or someone who thinks they know everything I would 100% recommend the UKDA because there is so much more than just the act of cleaning / valeting / detailing a vehicle that is taught. Plus I genuinely had fun for the entire time I was there, I will return for the next level (once I’ve done my coursework) and cannot wait already.

I took the 2 day course which covered machine polishing and sanding course.
Rich is great instructor. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who is thinking of a course, to go to this place. It’s proper, and you will not regret it. They are passionate about what they do, and they genuinely want to see you succeed beyond the course. I will be coming back for some other courses in the near future.

I recently completed the Level 1 course at the UK Detailing Academy and couldn’t be more impressed. The 3-day training was incredibly well structured, covering every essential aspect of starting and running a detailing business, from technical foundations to strategic thinking.

I have recently attended a 3 day course and can’t recommend these guys enough.
This was something totally new to me and without any experience I was apprehensive about my lack of skills going into it.
Rich made me feel most welcome, is a total professional and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
The course was really enjoyable and the set up there is great! They also offer genuine ongoing support. I 100% recommend this company!

Attended the Introduction to Machine Polishing course and it was a course/day that flew by because of the genuine insightful guidance of the hosts who clearly enjoy the job.
Every question was insightfully answered and the environment with hands on experience is second to none in their workshop.
Would definitely like to attend more of the courses in the future.

If you wanna learn, laugh and be able to pick up the brains of a team that knows and are actually willing to teach you. Just come here.

Recently attended an Introduction to Machine Polishing course. Rich and Ian made the experience really enjoyable and valuable. I was concerned I would be out of my depth learning in a group alongside guys who work in the business, whereas I just love cleaning cars as a hobby. I needn’t have been concerned at all as both Rich and Ian shared their knowledge and expertise in such a down to earth, understandable way that I’m sure it was good for each of us. I thought they struck a good balance in what learning was achievable in a day too. I would encourage others to try UKDA.

Went into it completely blank, not knowing what to expect. Turns out amazing. Instructions are clear, good setup for training…. Highly recommend

Attended Classic Detailing 101 yesterday as a complete beginner - what a brilliant day.
The style and atmosphere of UKDA is so friendly and welcoming and Rich's teaching style is really great. It was an amazing opportunity to spend the day with people with so much knowledge and I learnt so much.
If you have a classic car you love and want to take proper car of it do this course!

Rich made level 1 a verys easy course to settle into. Plenty of tips and tricks, no such thing as a stupid question approach. Will be going back for more courses in the future

I have completed previous courses with the UK Detailing Academy.
The most recent course which was held over two days was not only extremely enjoyable and informative but personally very rewarding.
Rich is extremely knowledgeable and is able to translate that knowledge to all levels of experience and learning capability.
This is extremely important, as not everyone learns at the same speed.
They are now my only Go To teaching and training provider.
They are worth at least 10 out of 5 Trust pilot Stars, not a measly 5 out of 5.
