Have yet to use this battery in anger, so I am assuming it will be as good as my existing battery on the patio joint cleaner.

Quality is ok and still a lightweight battery ideal for drills and grassstrimmer. Too early to say about longtime performance hence 4 stars. Previous 2.4Ah battery is 14 years old and still going but doesn’t last very long. This one is to be its replacement when it finally dies. At least this one shows the state of charge in a series of lights. Old one has nothing. Time will tell how much better this generation of batteries is and whether it has a hidden inbuilt obsolescence feature activated after a number of recharges or time elapsed.

Great website but ended up paying more than TV advert ! Product has ace steelwork the blades are precision and trim even tough branches easily. The chainsaw attachment was also very good at lopping a branch four metres up whilst standing on the ground enabling me to shape my tree. I would advise a chain lube addition but I believe this maybe on the larger version. Interestingly my hedge is very wide and the battery power allows me to be effective at a long depth in addition to height. Delivery was next day which was brilliant and allowed me to take advantage of the good weather at the time. Coupling the extension pole together was easy with large threaded plastic collars and extending the pole was even easier with a push click friction lever. Battery charging was also a dream with excellent charge indication lamps and a click fit change system. All in all expensive but time saving. Use over some years will prove the longevity of this seasonal product.

Battery was fine and was initially ordered at the same time as the tool. Battery arrived without tool. Sales team were very helpful and agreed that I had not been sent the tool, but could not find out where it was and could not send the tool without senior management input, which took many contacts to obtain. The tool (inflator) is great, but what a hassle. Ironically, I recently tried to bypass Ryobi’s shambolic dispatch system on the advice of my son, by ordering another tool via Amazon, which was delivered promptly, but this (garden vacuum) arrived with a defective bag seal that wasn’t discovered until it was fully constructed and used. Amazon will only return and refund rather than simply supply a new bag, so the tube had to be sent separately from the rest of the tool. I got my Amazon refund immediately I posted the packages but have decided that ordering Ryobi tools is just too difficult so won’t be re-ordering.

Excellent piece of equipment my only quibble being the battery life wasn't long enough to do the whole drive in one go.
