Didn’t even try to box the earrings!

Couldn’t use my blue light card discount (which was annoying as the earrings were not in the sale or discounted, so there is no obvious reason why the BL discount wouldn’t be allowed).
And when they arrived, a necklace box was sent, not one suitable to display earrings. The earrings were sent in two plastic bags inside the box, so Pandora didn’t even bother trying to make them look pretty. Disappointing as these are a gift.

Pandora display box. A shadow of its former self.

I need to make this clear.
I am very happy with the products.
The issue is the packaging.
I have bought many Pandora items online.
They always arrive in superb packaging with excellent display box fitting for a present.
But now. I bought two items online for just under £100. They arrived together in one very small single box.
When I called Pandora I was informed that this is their policy and if I needed another presentation box then the fee would be £5. I have spoken with two agents whom both confirm this is the policy.
These items were for my wife’s birthday so presentation is important.
I mentioned this to the agent but there was no change to their policy or offer of anything except an apology.
To the management responsible for this decision. I strongly recommend a review of customer service.
My wife has many Pandora bracelets, charms, rings and necklaces however I will no longer purchase anything online from Pandora again. Poor presentation, poor service does not need rewarding.
