While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

See what reviewers are saying

Linkedin have restricted my account 3…
Linkedin have restricted my account 3 times in week for no reason!
tried contacting them on twitter help and they seem to answer other people but not me! absolutely sick of it.
Unscrupulous
Looking at the terrible reviews on here, most seemed to have had a similar experience to me on LinkedIn. Irrelevant job ads, courses I never asked for, Varsity tutors please STOP…! There’s so much spam and rubbish on here -has wasted my time I wish I could give you zero stars. I think Linkedin genuinely started out as a good idea but has been taken over by unscrupulous advertisers and no longer has any credibility.
Worst job searching app ever
Worst job searching app ever. Full of adds, cluttered, search results are for jobs hundreds of miles away despite trying to localise the search. You have to basiclly put in all your data again. At thr end you get no reward for it .as you click to apply for a job and it just redirects all around the internet and you spend forever re-entering your data again. Long winded process and a utter waste of time. Third party site that just redirects you a d is full of adds.
Anti-discrimination algorithm discriminating against opportunities targeted at minority groups
LinkedIn removed post which promoted opportunity targeted at minority groups for being 'discriminatory' (whilst the post is clearly the opposite of that)
Endless cruft
While it was a good idea once, the company can't resist endless spamming, both on the website and by email. When you think you've switched off all the cruft, they introduce a new form, and opt you in of course.
Avoid!
The large amount of poor reviews say it all really. No contact email, no customer services, no way of having problems resolved. I cannot access my account as I am in an endless cycle of having to verify a stupid picture before being sent to log in again and again. What a great site for enabling links between businesses - not!
Joke of a site!
Blocked for no reason
Setup an account focussed on building network and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. Built a following and network in a short period. Account restricted and told in breach of their policy with no real explanation and unable to speak to someone. Really frustrating considering the time I invested. Won’t be using it again and will opt for other platforms.
Account hacked and Linkedin never…
Account hacked and Linkedin never respond.
An awful company who lack customer service
Hacked account, no response from LinkedIn
My account has been hacked, I have raised this issue with LinkedIn 3 times in the last 10 days and still have not got a response. The hacker is contacting my connections on the app posting spam and has changed my account pictures. As this is a professional account I really would expect a quicker response to being hacked.
Account restricted without explanation
My account was restricted with no explanation. Now LinkedIn is asking for information that could be used for fraud before they will considering reviewing. If you use LinkedIn in your job search then just be cautious about the level of personal information that you are sharing.
I love ❤️ 5 star service
Banned my account for no reason and…
Banned my account for no reason and without any notification. Well, interesting.
I accidentally closed my account after…
I accidentally closed my account after downloading the mobile app. I received an email with a link to reactivate it within 2 days.Within the two days I used it but it would not work and came up as my account not registered. I contacted the help team and they can no longer find my account and they have lost all my data- 20 years worth of contacts and freelance work. I am still holding out that they will get back to me but not confident. They told me that data would not be lost for 20 days after closing the account. It has only been 5 days. Every time I try and make contact I get cut off.
I have been using LinkedIn for several…
I have been using LinkedIn for several years now, and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the platform. LinkedIn provides an excellent way for professionals to network, find job opportunities, and showcase their skills and experience to potential employers. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, and the interface is intuitive and visually appealing. I appreciate the fact that LinkedIn offers a range of tools and resources to help me build my professional brand, including the ability to publish articles and participate in discussions. The platform also provides excellent opportunities for learning and professional development, with a range of courses and resources available to help me develop new skills and advance my career. Overall, I highly recommend LinkedIn to anyone looking for a powerful tool to advance their professional career and expand their network of contacts.
I cancelled my LinkedIn premium - still debited
I cancelled my LinkedIn premium - then got a deduction of £420 from my bank account. I went onto the app to see you can’t access anything to do with account information or payment info unless on a desktop. Unreal to think that a social media (albeit the professional one) has such a redundant app.
No help at all and I am now struggling to get information about refunding this massive annual cost in a time when the cost of living is in a crisis - a very poor show from LinkedIn.
Fraudulent behaviour
I signed up for premium personal in December then cancelled a month later. Once I cancelled the app kept asking to sign to unlock extras so I assumed it was done. I used a cc card that I don’t use regularly go the signup and because I don’t use I did notice the kept charging me. Now I realise for the last 5 months they have charged and advertised to me to purchase the extras that I was already paying for. They told me I can’t get a refund. I would expect such fraudulent behaviour.
Absolute trash customer service
Absolute trash customer service, can't even call it that because they ignore you, so don't actually provide a service. Sent a piece of crap generic copy-pasted response to my personal safety concern, and haven't replied since.
LinkedIn facilitate Bait and Dox Trolling of established accounts.
I had been a user of the platform for over 12 years, had over 500 contacts and dozens of professional recommendations.
Within the past 6 months I have been a victim of "bait and dox" trolls.
If LinkedIn is a professional platform as it claims, it's remediation services are still rooted in Kindergarten logic, LinkedIn staff and it's AI do not know the difference between literal and allegorical speech.. Adults and professionals should be able to have open and free discourse of ideas without the threat of expulsion due to perceived slights and injured egos.
LinkedIn needs to modify it's policy to discourage this kind of behaviour. Those who cast the first stone then cry Wolf should be made aware that their account is at risk if they carry out this type of malicious and pernicious behaviour on the platform.
As an adult I choose to ignore petty insults, but when I reply to an insulting comment with "You're not the brightest are you?" followed by a reasoned explanation and argument, this is construed as bullying, harassment and name calling by the fully SJW'd CRT'd staff working in LinkedIn customer support.
Perhaps they have done me a favour by removing my account, they will soon be populated by professional cry babies and trolls exclusively.
