I have been trying to get information on how to do a return as no instructions or address are provided. After offering to choose a replacement from their site for the same cost, they have stopped responding to emails. Ironically I have received 2 emails requesting feedback from the items received... So far it feels like a fake company with misleading 30-day full return policy and non-existent customer service.

Update: after this review, I got contacted and offered an exchange. I requested a refund and this has been granted with no return of goods needed. Still will not recommend this shop. But have raised the review to 2* as we reached a resolution at the end

Amazing customer service and products

1 day after my 1 star review, I got an update to say that my goods (ordered on 15th May), were in transit, and they did eventually arrive on 1st July (1 week later). So I've upgraded my review (from 1 star to 3) based on what happened since, and given a full and honest account of what happened following it.

I ordered 3 x pairs of trousers:

PRO's:
- All well made and exactly as pictured. They actually look great.
- After my review, the company did reach out to me to apologise and to offer me a discount (and to ask me to reconsider my review : )
-Length was really good. I'm 5ft 2 and lots of people have commented that they are really long but for me they were a great length

- CONS:

- 1 x pair of trousers where the label says its cotton - its incredibly scratchy. I'm hoping they will be wearable with loads and loads of fabric softener, but unless that improves in the wash, I don't think I'll be able to bear that feeling on my skin.
- The fact that they are advertising and communicating as *UK*buddastoneshop is clearly misleading. The name implies they are in the UK, when, having to wait 6/7 weeks for items to arrive, they are not in the UK, and this might make a difference to people. In my case, for example, they arrived several weeks after the event I ordered them for.
-I had to email several times to get a reply.
-Sizes do run slightly small. I hedged my bets and ordered 2 x different sizes.
- **This may be my mistake / or the website may have changed, can't be sure** on 2 x pairs of trousers, the advert says they are linen (or so I thought). What has arrived is 100% Polyester which feels a bit scratchy and not what was advertised. Linen is breathable, Polyester is not, and the feel is completely different. Looking at the website now its does say Polyester so its possible this was my mistake / or also possible this may have changed, either way, the actual fabric is still a bit irritating to the skin.

Would I do this all again, knowing what I know now? That I'd get 3 x beautiful pairs of trousers, all of which feel a bit or a lot scratchy, that I'd have to wait 7 weeks for but would then be heavily discounted, and no real way of returning anything that doesn't fit? Not sure I would. I'm pleased that they honored their discount / refund, and waited for that until rewriting my review, but I'd have been happy to pay the original price if I got the items in the materials advertised, and in a timely fashion. I think all consumers want honesty and transparency, and that's what gets repeat business.

Real shame as I love the style there are other items I'd really like to buy but if this is the service, and reading that its difficult to return anything, I'm not sure its worth it.

TITLE WAS: Suspected Scam / 6 weeks later still no items.

Order placed 15th May / As of 23rd June it still says preparing order for shipping. No proactive communication at all. When I followed up, no delivery date offered just a discount - still order status hasn't changed.

My product wasn't the right size but the Buddhastones team was helpful in organising an exchange for a more suitable product.

Customer services easy to contact.
Prompt replies to email queries.
Take action quickly.

Bought 3 tops from Buddhastone. They took their time getting there but all 3 were great - lovely fabrics and details. One fit perfectly, the other 2 fit but I thought they'd be a bit more loose around the body so we're just thinking of the easiest way to replace them. Super friendly customer service and quick to reply. Would definitely buy from them again and recommend to friends.

Great service, quick delivery

Provided you get the fit right, its really good. One of the shirts I ordered fitted perfectly, really nice quality, well made, I really like it a lot. The other, did not, a beautiful colour, and it was a nice shirt none the less. The returns process is complex and requires you to pay more shipping money to get a replacement product in a smaller/larger size. I guess that is the problem with ordering online through international retailers. The products you actually get a very nice, just sizing is very difficult to nail down.

I have received excellent customer support concerning my order. I initially ordered the wrong size and they were very helpful with arranging a replacement in a larger size.

I received a dress from Buddastone. Unfortunately, it didn't look right. I contacted customer service, who contacted me straight away. I was happy with the solution, as I received a refund. Professional, friendly & efficient. I recommend this company.

I ordered 3 dresses and I need to return then as they are not suitable. The returns process is complicated ... it says to email them and they will provide details on how to return items. I have so far sent 3 emails with all the details requested, an Instagram message and a Facebook message and I haven't had any response. I am running out of the 30 day period.

The pants I ordered arrived very quickly and were in excellent condition! Very nice color, soft fabric, very good quality. They were a little big for me but they immediately replied that they would send me the smaller size!

I love the shirt I ordered from Uk Buddhastoneshop. I like the colour and the style and the material. As it is a bit smaller than I expected they are sending me a replacement. Tasha, who I dealt with, was unfailingly helpful. I appreciate the 'Namaste' and the praying hands symbol at the end of her emails, so in keeping, I feel with the ethos of the store. Thank you.

The initial order went smoothly but, as the products come from overseas, it took some time for them to arrive. The items were nice but didn't fit. I wanted to return them but the solution was not straight forward, I guess because it involves posting them back to the original country and the complications with customs etc. The solution they offered was to keep the items and I could order something else from them for the same price. I found 3 items and they wanted £18 for postage and customs fees. I negotiated with them to £9, which in reality I guess is fair for the extra postage and fees, and I could also keep the original items. So, it looks like refunds and returns are not really feasible, but they will offer you some sort of solution that you might be happy with, although it might cost you a little extra. As the initial postage is free this doesn't seem unfair.

Communication is very strong, and even though they weren't able to fully refund the two items in my order in that didn't fit, we were able to come to a mutually agreeable solution - I kept the items (which I've given to a friend) and they sent me other items in their place for which I just had to cover a small shipping fee.

Long delivery time. Complicated returns process and customer service. Shame, because their whole ethos seems very zen-based, but the experience doesn't live up to it.

The biggest issue was finding a return address as customer service would not provide one - they only provided a 5% discount to keep items over 2 emails, on 3rd email they offered 10% discount as I kept asking about return address, which they finally provided! Despite their web address and email address having "uk" in it, they are based in China! I don't know how much the return will cost me and there is no information on their website as to where in the world they're based so not transparent at all. Very unhappy customer.

Good communication throughout even when i made an error ordering the wrong size initially, got sorted quickly without any fuss. Quality garment great value for money and so worth the wait

Ordered a lovely bracelet and it was lovely when it turn up! Even box it came in was great. But sadly too small. Promised a replacement after good communicationand me paying new postage so really looking forward to that.
Update:
Got new bracelet unfortunately same size so no use of that. Feels very disappointed as I paid a further postage towards it. Do so far two bracelets I can't use and empty purse... But they are nice and good quality but useless for me.
