Somewhat dishonest
They make the impression they were the original UK Government site, but they are not. They don't inform you about their fees, when you enter your credit card data and charge 99 USD when the original site charges 16 GBP. Why charge USD in the first place, particularly when you apply from a european country?
They did refund the fee when I cancelld, nevertheless I had a loss of some Euros due to exchange rate fluctuations.
One thing that stands out is that they ask your entry date to the UK. The original site, does not ask for it.
Crooks
They issued a none-valid entry permit. They are in the business of cheating people.
Total scam
Total scam! I hope I can get my money back. Dont even know if I've got my ETA... Feel so stupid, I thought it was an official website.
Unprofessional, zero customer service, service not provided
I started the application and paid for the ETA, did not complete it, though, because I made a mistake. I contacted them immediately to revoke the application and have them refund the amount. They did not even bother to reply, nor have I heard from them, even though I contacted them fire contact form and email several times. Do not use their services, also very expensive. You can do it online at the actual official ETA website for half the price I did not receive the service I paid for until now, nor have I gotten a refund.
Total scam
Total scam! Appears to be an official site but charged 100 GBP instead of 16 GBP.
I cannot confirm that this is a scam
I cannot confirm that this is a scam. My ETA arrived this morning. But it took 3 days longer than through the government ETA app and I paid the "mediation fee" which made it more expensive too. Next time I will use the government app which we eventually managed to install. Also British Airways provide a direct link to ETA application, when you are buying their flights.
Total scam
Total scam, do not use it!
So sad I found the website thru a news article which claimed it was reputable
... Feel so stupid.
Use UK.gov eta app
UK Entryinfo - ETA for 99USD :(
Hi I have the same experience, the price was not mentioned during the process, not even in the confirmation e-mail. I only second day checked my account and was surprised about the price (paid for 4 people). I am usually careful, this is first time, this happened to me (sorting some other issues at the same time... just not focused on what i do). I applied for cancellation and refund - should receive reply within 72 hours... Anybody from you, who have the similar experience with this site - did you manage to cancel? Did you get your money back? Or at least, if not succeed to cancel, did you get your ETA? thanks a lot and good luck
Scam site... hands off
This is a scam for certain. showed no payment amount during the entire application and payment process and eventually drawing 99 USD from my credit card. They have promised a refund upon filing a refund complaint on their website. Though no refund yet. Filing a fraud report with my bank as well as local police.
It is a scam
It is a scam. It just took 1000kr from my mother in law and provided no ETA. Mad at myself for not filing the ETA for her.
Thats a scam
Thats a scam. They ripped me off 90 euro. They didnt answer to emails even if they promise refund on their site.
I will try to get my money back with my bank.
It's a scam.
Scam
Fraudulent website. My mum was charged 10x the amount stated on the government website and hasn't received any ETA.
Scam
Scam. Paid 92€ for £10 ETA...... but after complaining I got my money back
Scam
Scam - they charge 109 dollars for an UK ETA application that costs 16 Pounds. This kind of misdirection and overcharging can only be called a scam
