Friendly, attentive and smooth process
I was very impressed by the knowledge of the UGP adviser who was very friendly, accessible and extremely attentive to our requirements. His style and approach was instrumental in us choosing to place a contract with them. The process of obtaining quotations and discussing issues was very smooth and the tariff rates offered were very competitive. We look forward to a very beneficial relationship with UGP going forward.

I recently opened a private counselling practice, and discovered that the gas meter had been illegally removed prior to my tenancy — yet the live feed was still active and supplied by a well-known energy company. The previous supplier was extremely unhelpful throughout my attempts to leave, raising objection after objection and making repetitive, unreasonable requests.
Then came Tom and Niamh… wow! They could not have been more helpful. They always answered the phone and emails promptly, liaised on my behalf, and arranged the fitting of a new meter. I’ve developed an excellent rapport with them — they truly bring back the personal touch that so many mainstream companies have sadly lost.

We approached UGP after a positive experience when switching two sites previously, Tom our account manager was helpful, friendly and found us a deal which worked for us and beat our current supplier by several thousand pounds per year. We will definitely be getting in touch when our next sites come up for renewal in the future.

Excellent Customer Contact Throughout
UGP have been trying to get our business for a number of years, but Tom Broughton finally managed to cross the line. He came in with a very competitive price for the half-hourly meter and guided me through the whole process from quote, to contract and supply transfer. He continues to be my point of contact for this 2 year contract. I will definitely get him to quote on other sites as they come up to see how UGP compares.

Great staff but phoneline difficult
Timothy was very helpful and always phoned and emailed on time. I gave a lower rating because I could not get through on the phone numbers - it just cut off after a little while.

Excellent company to deal with
We wanted to renew with UGP because they are not pushy, they give you time to look over the quote and we have dealt with them now for over 2 years now and cannot fault them. We dealt with Tim for the renewal and I cannot fault him, very friendly, helpful and doesn't keep bothering you!!

It was quick, easy, no problems at all. When ever I had an issue, I'd call his number direct, he would answer right away and sort it out, nothing was too much trouble, friendly and supportive.

Great customer service
Quite often customer service from energy suppliers is poor, this is not the case with UGP. Sonia called me within 15 minutes of my email asking for help, she was knowledgeable and efficient and within no time had resolved the issue completely. After sales is often an after thought with Companies, with UGP the customer service is excellent.
