Super helpful, a great place to brew your own

Brought gift certificate as present for brother but when it arrived only had a couple of months to expiry.

I contacted them about this and the co-founder responded (very quickly in this first instance, to his credit) and assured me they are valid for a year. I asked whether they could send it through with the correct expiry but I got no response. I sent another email to chase this a week later but still got no response which is a little annoying as I will have to explain this now to my brother and hope he doesnt feel rushed into using it.

I've been a member of UBrew since shortly after it's inception. While the company has struggled with operations and equipment, it remains a core of dedicated folks who are after one thing: helping people brew great beer. Despite the setbacks and overwhelming traffic of brewers and aficionados, the UBrew team and management are constantly working hard to improve the facility and the process. They've had a recent reboot, with new investment support. I'm excited to see where they go from here!

This company has another review page on TP - which gives a v different picture to the large number of 5 star reviews all posted on the same day. The company is insolvent and the founder cannot be trusted. Use at your peril caveat emptor.

Please don't give any money to UBREW. They should not be trusted. Former staff are not paid owed wages, suppliers not paid for products delivered in good faith.

I remain owed almost £2k by UBREW despite countless empty promises over the past 6 months.

An excellent environment to test recipes, hone your brewing skills and meet likeminded brewers. After a big clean up recently and more focus on the quality of output, ubrew is getting back to its best.

I've been a member from the beginning. I've learned a lot, brewed a lot and drank a lot at this place. It became one of our hang out places, even when we're not brewing. Everyone is super friendly and share our passion for brewing

We had a great day spending time with friends at Ubrew! The beer is delicious, customer service is top notch, and the beer mile location is ideal. Now we plan to become members! Thanks Ubrew!!

Have been there from the start and seen it grow, sometimes painfully but one thing that has been consistent has been the attitude of the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful to help make sure you have a good time and produce a good brew. The equipment is first class and it is great to see everything in place when you arrive to ensure you can crack on and brew

Ubrew is back and it is more organized, has plenty of ingredients. I like to be creative and make custom recipes, last time, Matt helped with the calculations and lots of useful tips. UBrew is unique because I can make the beer the way I like without worrying about storage, since they have a dedicated room where I can leave the beer until its ready. I like to take it home and keep watching it but most of the people will come back to do dry hops and to bottle at UBrew. Another cool thing is that they do it for you if you are feeling lazy.

We’ve brewed many a good a beer with Matt and the Ubrew team, both on the small set and the larger 800litre set-up.
We just ran a ‘brew you own’ evening for a client to great success with four different beers styles created in one Ubrew session.

I've now brewed twice at Ubrew and had an awesome time on both occasions. Prior to this I had no beer brewing experience however the staff are highly knowledgeable and helped guide me through the process. One brew I did with a mate and the other was with my sister. Both times we all had a really fun day out and drank some amazing beers from the tap room and bottle shop. To top it off the brews each produced around 80 bottles of beer (tasty pale ales!) which I was able to collect at a later date and take home. I was surprised at how well they turned out and I'll definitely be going back soon for another go. Next time I'll be attempting something slightly more ambitious like a dark beer. Overall it's amazing value for money and would def recommend to anyone looking to get into brewing.

A sensational experience as a gift or just to treat yourself. Great if you are a seasoned vet of microbrewing or a complete novice, the staff are fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable and make some cracking unique beers to boot. Well worth a trip.

Great place for people interested in brewing small and large scale. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! All members are very sociable and happy to share useful tips. Also don't forget to visit the tap room with fresh beers!

Amazing vibe, cool experience and awesome beers. I love the Banana Party flavour. As a first time brewer, I found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgable so it was a smooth ride. Very highly recommended!
