Very pleased to receive the GVC and A2 CofC qualifications from UAV8. The instruction was great with good resources and ample time to practice flying. A wealth of knowledge was brought by the instructors and all questions were answered on the day. A follow up email after the course included helpful links and resources for newly qualified pilots to use. Highly recommended.

Drone course with UAV8 - always wanted to be more proficient with drone flying, UAV8 under Nick's tutorship made it straightforward and not the 'crash' course I was fearing. Walked me through the training and then onto the test which I was comfortable with. Highly recommended........

An amazing course run by two people that genuinely care about the safety of drones. Baz was incredible and stopped for questions, stopped to recap and gave revision questions throughout. Nick was just as kind and was overseeing the exam I took, talked me through everything and was so calming. Couldn't have asked for a better company and will be recommending and preaching.

Carried out my A2 drone course today, and the team was amazing. Baz was incredibly informative with some great knowledge of which helped with the final exam. Nick was then there to assist me before and after the exam making it a really straightforward process.

I then received my results and certificate immediately after completion

I attended the UAV8 Limited drone training course in Ipswich in 2018, and it was an unforgettable experience! The course was incredibly well-organized, and my trainer, Barry, was outstanding. His expertise, patience, and ability to explain complex topics in a simple way made the learning process both enjoyable and highly effective.

One of the best parts of the course was the sense of community. I made so many great friends during the training, and the collaborative environment added so much value to the experience. It wasn’t just about learning; it was about building connections with like-minded individuals who were just as passionate about drones.

I came away from the course with a deep understanding of drone operation and safety, along with memories I’ll cherish forever. Nick and Baz were both great instructors, the course was relaxed but very informative and well paced, they were more than happy to take questions, to repeat slides, and to explain the information again to ensure we understood the information. The content was well selected to meet the requirements of the qualification and the explanatory anecdotes were interesting and very relevant. The exam format was very relaxed and efficient, with immediate debrief and confirmation of the award of the A2 CofC qualification. Highly recommended for a very well structured and informative course with ace instructors. Thanks guys for an enjoyable course!

Information and exams: Communication was very clear, precise and delivered in a warm and friendly manner, by Baz.
Practical flying instructed by Russ who had me flying safely within minutes. Enjoyed a variety of drones and technology.

I recently completed their Drone Flying Training and A2 CoC courses which were first class. Both courses were supposed to have been completed at the same time but due to weather and my time schedule had to be postponed a couple times. However, they were both accommodated very easily, with the first part of they A2 CoC being cover 1-to-1 over Zoom. Once the weather improved for the dates I was available I was then able to do the second part, which was not only great fun but conducted in a very professional manner, which you would only expect from ex military personnel. I have no problem at all in recommending Barry, Nick and their team (particularly Russ who did my flying part). If I decide to do my GVC I will definitely be using them again.

I really enjoyed my training experience at this academy. The information provided was amazing and very interesting. I must also praise the dedication of my instructor, who was remarkably attentive and open to all questions throughout the training. I would not hesitate to sign up for the next flight course. UAV8 offer an excellent service. The team have a wealth of knowledge but also know how to communicate it clearly. Great people, great course and I can thoroughly recommend it for anyone want to get into drone flying or get their A2 CofC or GVC quickly and efficiently.

I recently attended a one day course with Baz and Russ. As well as the theory around regulation and best practice, there was plenty of time for practical hands on experience both in terms of planning drone flights online as well as having the opportunity to fly the drones. I was quite apprehensive about flying a drone for the first time, but the level of support improved my confidence significantly in a short amount of time. We discussed how we planned to use drones in our workplace and the various options in terms of capability. I would thoroughly recommend UAV8, they clearly have plenty of experience in training and knowledgeable about the breadth of drones available.

Being an ex-forces myself I found that the barriers were already down. Barry and Russ are highly knowledgeable and highly experienced instructors. I found the whole experience with them both a Joy and a pleasure. There was no pressure and as stated in their Joining Instructions ask as many questions as you like. I Would highly recommend them to my friends and colleagues.

Had a training course last week in coychurch with baz nick and russ, brilliant course with masses amounts of knowledge and experience from the tutors. I left the course with confidence to go fly the drones. Would recommend this course with UAV8 to anybody.

I came to the course with no experience in flying drones what so ever. Baz, Nic & Russ were great instructors, and I learnt a lot in the time frame we had with them. I now feel fully confident to go out and fly independently and use the drone to the best of its ability.

Spent a full 3 days with BAZ,NICK and RUSS and I really enjoyed ,they were very helpful ,extremely knowledgeable in their field and covered everything I needed to know plus much more throughout the course and I came away from it feeling very confident for when i get fly on my own.THANK YOU

The trainers were absolutly fantantisc, their knowledge and experiance is second to non. The instructions given were very clear and never once was we spoken down to. A credit to their company and thoroughly nice people.
