Chemistry A Level OCR Predicted Papers are absolutely RUBBISH! Questions are too easy, lack depth and do not include frequent tough questions.

Game-Changer for Exam Revision

Tyrion Papers is genuinely one of the best revision websites I’ve used. It’s extremely helpful and has a huge range of GCSE and A-Level 2025 resources, including past papers, topic tests, mock papers, specimen papers, notes and books for AQA, OCR and Edexcel. Everything is easy to find and really useful for exam practice. It’s helped me a lot with revision and boosted my confidence going into exams. I honestly love this site and would highly recommend it to any student aiming for top grades.

Very helpful and prompt.

Very helpful and prompt.
I had a problem of my own making which they cheerfully sorted. Then when documents were sent in win zip form they were quick to send another way.

A Level Predicted Papers are worse than useless

I strongly suggest Tyrian Papers remove the predicted A Level Chemistry exam papers from their site and post a warning to those that have purchased them. I am a very experienced teacher and ex examiner. Unfortunately, there are so many errors, including fundamental errors that suggest a lack of understanding of some basic principles. Some of the questions are off the specification, others use inappropriate terminology, the mark schemes are littered with mistakes; the list of problems goes on.

These papers will do more harm than good if used by students. They look as if they've been cobbled together by somebody with very little experience, and understanding, of the specifications. Given the errors and inaccuracies, the author would be unlikely to achieve an A* in the current exams. As a matter of principle, they must be removed from the site to avoid further damage to the learning of students.

Chemistry is a waste of money

I bought the OCR a level biology a and chemistry a predicted papers, the biology was okay but the mark scheme was a bit messed up with a random bit inserted. The chemistry paper 1 was awful and I didn't even finish marking it. Question 5 was just wrong on the marks scheme, correct answer was D but was A on the mark scheme, question 7 mark scheme was wrong too. It states that 1.96 x 10-2 divided by 0.2 is 0.392, which is wrong just put it in a calculator. Question 12 about solubility product Ksp is not in the OCR A specification, and question 16 states 100 x 4.18 x 17.7 is 7408.6, which is also just wrong, use a calculator and the value is 7398.6. This is crazy

waste of money - part of paper blacked out

This was a waste of money. I paid for the OCR 2025 English Language papers so that my daughter could do a practice paper. One of the texts for comparison was blacked out (for copyright reasons). I contacted Tyrion by email, telling them this. The response was that was the way that they get the papers from OCR. They said there is nothing they can do. The paper is totally useless and not fit for purpose - which actually breaches the sale of goods act. They can’t sell something that can not be used.
Edit: the company has offered a refund

shit aqa papers lol

Ordered AQA Physics predicted papers and it is an absolute shambles. Not only does it include some niche content we do not need (charm quark?? really??) to know and will never come up in the exam, they even put content from the other papers in an unrelated paper and it completely ruins the paper and the point. don’t buy from them at least for aqa lol

"Tyrion's Predicted Papers"

"Tyrion's Predicted Papers" proved incredibly useful last year, and it's a sure purchase again this year. The questions were well-aligned with actual exam trends, making revision more focused and effective. If you're looking for smart prep material, this is definitely worth it.

I used Tyrion Papers last year and…

I used Tyrion Papers last year and honestly, it helped me a lot. Most of the predicted questions actually came in my exams, and that gave me a huge confidence boost. This year, I didn’t even think twice before getting it again. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to prepare smartly.
