Wanted to buy Airfly so signed up to get their discount code. As is often the case with these businesses the code provided never works, except as a bait and switch scam, and to get your details.
Emailed them, they apologised and would investigate. Heard nothing.
Don’t sign up with them, and don’t support businesses that behave like that!

I used to love this brand almost Apple like in their design and ethos, but what has happened?
Overinflated prices,poor materials and non existent quality control. Stay well clear of them plenty of other companies that have better products that are better made and will compliment your Apple products much better.
Products Do Not Last
To echo a lot of the other reviews here, the products don't last. I bought my charger (which was $80 at the time and is now $100) in December 2022 and it no longer charges.
When I asked them about this they said they had a one year warranty policy and that was it. I still have smaller, cheaper chargers that are older and still working. This is billed as a premium charger and is less than even a cheap one.
Buyer beware- 12S HiRose 3 Deluxe charger
In November 2023, I purchased the Twelve South HiRise 3 Deluxe Apple Phone, watch etc charger. As of August 28, 2025 it no longer charges. A friend had the same product and we switched out the cords to determine that it is the base.
Of course 12 south will not warranty this after a year even though I paid upwards of $130 for it, really???
I'll even go on to say that their customer service is absolutely nonexistent. It's a joke. I will never purchase another product from this company and I will go out of my way to tell others how poor the manufacturing and customer service is for such an overpriced item.

If Zero stars was an option...
If Zero stars was an option, Twelve South has earned it. I ordered a simple laptop stand. It took several weeks to arrive and when it did, I could not insert the "legs" into the base per the instructions. I should have read the reviews on this site as it appears this is a common issue. How hard is it to make a simple 3-piece stand that fits together? Oh, to rub salt in the wound: Twelve South is deducting $9.34 from my return order which cost me $7 to ship in the first place! Their customer service matches their product quality.

Terrible terrible terrible service
I received my order (Twelve South SE) from their website after the supposed delivery time. When I received it I had difficulty inserting one of the attached parts of the products so I accidentally broke it. Instead of asking for a return they said it was my fault (keep in mind one of the sides was made in a way that made it more difficult to attach) and gave me a voucher to purchase another product, despite the person who I talked with on the phone saying I would be offered options to fix this issue - terrible company! You can buy their products for less money in store and they got my money in exchange for a weak and not functional product so I won´t purchase anything from them again.
Amazing customer support
I’ve had an outstanding experience with Twelve South’s customer service. When a part on my Hover Duo broke, they quickly sent a replacement. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit my specific model. But without hesitation, they went above and beyond by sending me an entirely new base and now everything works perfectly.
A huge thank you to Derek for his exceptional support and clear, helpful communication throughout the process. The service far exceeded my expectations, I truly thought I’d need to purchase a new product or pay for parts. Instead, I was met with generosity and care. Thank you again!

Shockingly bad
I’ve had Twelve South cases ever since I first bought an iPhone. They were lovely designs, resilient, and gorgeous to look at.
Sixteen months ago, I bought an iPhone 13 mini (just as it was discontinued) and a Twelve South case for it. The stitching started falling apart in fairly short order. The “leather” over the magnetic clasp has broken away from the clasp. The whole thing is just appallingly bad; I’d expect this from AliExpress or Temu, not this company!
Don’t bother. Go with something else. They’ve lost me as a customer - permanently.
I own so many things from Twelve South…
I own so many things from Twelve South that I got in the past. But something happened there. My favorite customer service rep, Bridget, is gone and it takes days to get an answer and then they don't even pay attention to what you asked. And I was all ready to get an expensive laptop case. I see others are feeling letdown as well. I'm going to search out another company. Goodbye, Twelve South. So sad. I'll never get anything again from them.
I had a cover for my iPhone many years…
I had a cover for my iPhone many years ago that held up very well and I liked the design. So now I bought a bookbook for iPad 11” + keyboard. They have severely decreased their quality and it arrived all scratched and the fake leather that they now use is really bad and get scratches from the slightest touch. I recommend no one to buy their products anymore. They are not worth it. It feels like a bad Chinese copy bought at Alibaba or Temu. Don’t waste your money

Should have been zero stars. The quality is so bad. The only leather on bookbook cover is the spine. Every other is plastic and not very durable.
What's with the quality drop
I bought a case for my 14 after I bought it, and less than a year later the case was literally falling apart, so I contacted them and they (without any questions) shipped a new one to me. I was impressed!
But less than 3 months later I found the closing clasp falling apart.
I have had 4 covers for phones over the years, but this generation will be my last, the quality in the case is poor, time to move on
No Service
Non existent customer service. They could not even be bothered to answer a pre sales enquiry and lost a multi product purchase as a result.
Quality Has Seriously Decreased
I used a Twelve South BookBook phone-wallet-combo case for a few years when I was younger. Later, I decided to invest in another one. The quality had really decreased since my last experience with this company. The closure tabs on my phone case were shredded, dangling, and falling apart within three weeks. By a few months, the phone case looks like it's been through things. I asked Twelve South if this was now typical, and they sent me a second case for free. I appreciate the gesture, but I don't like wasteful companies either. Lo and behold, the exact same defect happened with the replacement case.
My laptop BookBook case from a decade ago holds up just fine, so it's clear the quality has gone down in recent years.
Save your money (and support vegan leather instead).
this company is a crap shoot
this company is a crap shoot. some items are good some are not. if you have a problem they make you jump through hoops to get help. I bought a PlugBug Duo, the case came apart the first time I used it. When I asked for help then sent a form email.
No wonder they do not have a way to register. They want to make it hard to get help.
I will not buy here again.
Unexpected Import Fees Mar Otherwise Great Experience
I recently purchased a product from Twelve South and had it shipped internationally. The product itself is top-notch, and the shipping was relatively quick. However, I was surprised by an additional EUR 33.09 import duty fee that was not mentioned during the checkout process.
This unexpected cost has somewhat tainted my experience with Twelve South. I would have appreciated a heads-up about these fees, or even an option to prepay them at the time of purchase.
