Customer service is terrible and don't respond to emails.
On my profile, a review was edited due to a typo. This was fixed but then for no reason the website downgraded the five star review to a 2 star review without the parent's consent. This is completely unfair and unexplained. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved after days.

Worst customer services
Worst customer services - Its been 2 weeks and I have sent multiple email to their customer service and have not had a single response - not even an automated one to acknowledge my email. The tutor has wrongly charged me for a lesson despite providing notice but the customer service hasnt even bothered reply to my emails and the chat function is a joke as nobody is ever online

Regarding the charge you mentioned, the cancellation was made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, which falls outside of our cancellation policy. In these situations, the tutor is eligible to charge for the session and had informed you of this prior.

Found a great tutor
I took a punt on Tutorful without a personal recommendation and am so pleased I did! My daughter is struggling with GCSE maths and I have a great tutor at a really good price. The interface is super easy and I will definitely use again.

Very impressed
The website/app is easy to use. There is plenty of information about the tutors to get a good idea which ones are likely to be suitable. Communicating with tutors is easy. My daughter particularly likes the ability to watch the lessons again.

Excellent experience using Tutorful
The platform works very well, easy to book and many good tutors to select from, with lots of useful info for each to help find the right person. The tutors respond quickly. My daughter has worked with an excellent maths tutor to support Year 10 and 11 work, and had a couple of ad hoc sessions in Spanish ahead of exams. Excellent experience with both.

Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. Fraudulent even. Tutor cancelled lesson at my request for half term, a week in advance in accordance with cancellation policy to avoid getting charged and I was still charged. For
Some reason Tutorful are refusing to refund me. I happily paid for a lesson I had to cancel with less than 24h notice as per their refund policy. I cannot believe they have the audacity to refuse a refund despite this going against their own refund policy. Appalling and frankly fraudulent
