I took the Trabzon City tour and what an enjoyable and informative experience it was! The tour guide Taner was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Türkiye generally and the Kara Deniz region in particular. Taner bey speaks fluent English as well as Turkish and was happy to let me practice my Turkish as well as switch to English when my limits were reached. He tailored the program to my wishes and patiently waited while I took endless photos and examined museum exhibits. He provided free bottled water and even stopped for me to purchase helva from Helvacı Ali’s shop. I was continually enthralled with all I was seeing and learning. The whole trip was an engaging way to spend a day in the city, not least of which was the safe driving and patient waiting by the amazing driver Emrah bey. I highly recommend Zenofon Tours for all your tour needs. They also go to the yaylaları (plateaus) regularly. Please remember the name: Zenofon Tours.

We were a group of four people that booked a two day tour with Zenofon. Our pickup was by our hotel, making it so much easier for us. We were so lucky with our guide Gülben and driver Hüsein 😍 our first day was the monastery tour and second was to Uzungöl. They were very helpful and gave us time to experience on our own. They were a lot of fun and we didn’t even feel the time fly away. Our trip was filled with music and dancing on the bus, making the entire experience of Trabzon and tours amazing. Thank you so much!

The trip was amazing and it was a good idea to change to private guide because of my mom and also because we wanted to take in every moment. Our private tour guide was the best! He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable of the area. He was very friendly and helpful from the booking of the trip to payment difficulties which he explained with kindness and patience.We recommend him 100% to anyone visiting for the first time. Had a fantastic time on the tour. We visited so many great destinations. My favorite part was the rafting along the river. The tour guide was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Engaging and friendly guide Taner who knows history. Learned a lot. I booked for the Sumela Monastery out of Trabzon. Plus village lunch stop in Hamsikoy (food extra). Beautiful ride in a comfortable van with friendly driver. From the beginning good communication. So glad i booked this, I came all the way from California via Istanbul to see this Monastery. Also got good tips for Trabzon. Adds to my Türkiye experience!!
