Excellent Customer Service and easy to use.
Very disappointed with the customer service I have received. I have used this platform before without issues but their newfound unwillingness to release funds and painfully slow customer service makes me wish I had chosen another platform. Do not recommend for event organisers.

I completely forgot to register for a zoom webinar my employer wanted me to attend and when I was reminded I realised it was about to start in 10 minutes. I quickly booked online through trybooking with my phone and received an e-ticket and an email with the link to join the webinar straight away.
I decided to write this review because I have purchased tickets on other sites from my phone as well and it's usually very difficult. In the case of trybooking I found it to be the best user experience
Great customer service and really impressed by how comprehensive the system is. Whether running small fundraising events or larger more formal gatherings i've found Trybooking to cater to all my needs. What has really impressed me is the ability to speak with their kind staff on the phone and seek help in real time from friendly, ticketing minded people. Would recommend Trybooking to anyone looking from reasonable pricing for great service!
my wife and I booked and paid for tickets, then couldnt join the event. Advice as to how to join the event is non-existent. We had the ticket but it didnt work. Absolutely frustrating.

After reading the other reviews on this site, I had reservations about proceeding with TryBooking. But after making contact with their support team to get some clarification, I was immediately put at ease.
They laid out very clearly what was information they required to assist with providing access to the funds prior to my event date. It was all very reasonable and gave the impression they cared about my customers.
Will 100% be using TryBooking for my next event!

Very bad. I thought it would have been easier to create an event on TryBooking rather than my website. it was a big mistake.
I wish I had read the reviews before. I spent the past hour trying to delete my event and get the hell out of this frustrating website. I do not recommend it.

excessive fees being charged for one simple transaction such as soccer club fees. 2.5% is ridiculous

Honestly not worth the hassle. We organised a small event and wanted to withdraw our own money and they wouldn't let us. They said what if the event gets cancelled. They didn't have good enough reason to stop the transaction but they surely delayed it to cause some pain. Never again using this portal. They have very bad customer service, no reasoning with them.

Fantastic system! straight forward and easy to use.
Extremely versatile in use. Not only can I sell tickets to events, but I can also manage our memberships and set up dedicated fundraising pages for our causes.
They have both online support as well as a number to call should you need further clarification. The support I've received has always been outstanding!

Trybooking claims to be quick and easy but is plagued by excruciatingly slow transitions between screens, timeouts and counter-intuitive feel during the event creation process.
I have spent at least 3 hours setting up the last 3 events I organised, and they were very straight forward.
I was so frustrated that I tried another provider and was able to complete the enter event setup in under 15 minutes including registration time.
They obviously have poor infrastructure and theirs servers cannot cope with demand (or it is poorly coded).
Avoid Trybooking if you are time poor or impatient.

Customer service in my professional opinion is 95% communication. TryBooking do NOT consider communication important enough to put as a default, you have to know to select it (too bad if you are new to the system and don't know). Due to this lack of communication from TryBooking, I was not made aware of any bookings, or what I needed to do in regards to my event, according to them this is all my fault. This ended up with 2 annoyed customers, whom I had to fully refund, despite TryBooking refusing to refund me. They show little care and are willing to gamble their own clients reputations. Communication should be the default with the option to select not having it, not the other way around. Gambling people's reputations is a horrible thing for any business to do, TryBookings seem happy to do this in my experience and gave me all the excuses to shift blame. Despite this disgusting lack of customer service, I am giving them a second chance. Will I be disappointed again? Will my next review be positive? Time will tell...

I've just set up my 1st event with try booking and it was really simple AND when I got stuck in a few spots I got excellent email and phone support that quickly cleared my roadblocks.
I haven't had any bookings yet or collected any money so it's still very early days but my wife has used this platform to run her events several times and has had a good experience.
I check out most of the players in this space last week before deciding and try booking had the best overall offer for my needs

After months of horrible customer service, endless promises to call (they never did) i feel i have to warn people as i have lost $400 for an event that never took place.
So I tried to get a refund on a comedy workshop that got cancelled and sent over 20 emails to them, called them multiple times but to no avail. Their only concern was redirecting everything to my bank and saying they didn't know where the money was and it wasn't their responsibility (obviously my bank said the opposite).
If you’re afraid your event might be cancelled, don’t book with these guys as they will do anything to not provide refunds. Just stay away from them, I hope Eventbrite is better (And one would imagine so).

Awesome platform, so easy to use. These guys cater perfectly for our company level events - saved me loads of time organising our staff. Would highly recommend!

We have used Trybooking for 4 years for several of our events. As we started with one event they weren't too bad, but Increasingly as our events have now grown to 4 national annual conferences, it has become more and more difficult to withdraw our money from our account. They hold onto thousands of dollars yet they are not governed by any of the protective consumer legislation that banks are. If they decide to hold onto our money and not release it there is precious little we can do. They assure me that they do not hold onto the money for playing on the stockmarket or receiving interest on our funds.
They have added immense amounts of stress at times when we are 2 weeks out to a major event with venue, catering, AV and many other invoices needing to be finalised and we have to beg and harass and ring and constantly harangue them and jump through hoops to get our money out.
Whilst they are cheaper than some platforms, it is seriously not worth the stress. I don't believe Trybooking at all understand the trials and challenges of conference organisers.
For someone organising a small school play or community event, or smal workshop Trybooking is quite adequate. However, I would never recommend Trybooking to any large event or conference, it is seriously not worth the stress.
The plus side is that they do have a couple of lovely staff on the customer service desk who are as helpful as can be, but beyond that their level of service within management is extremely challenging.
The set up for Trybooking is also quite complex and confusing to use.. very complicated to set up.

On line ticketing handled very smoothly for our Songs of Simon and Garfunkel evening. Very friendly and helpful team.

Thank you Trybooking. Our concert went off without a problem. Having the ability to use a seating plan meant our parents didn't need to line up and best of all we were able to sit back and just watch it fill up. 1000 seats gone in under 10 mins, just amazing. Thank you and I will be back again next concert.
