Amount and types of information in actual report was far less than stated or implied during report generation
When showing the sliders for the report being generated, don't imply that there is going to be more types of information in the report than there actually will be. The text showing up during the report generation stated that certain categories of information were found relating to the individual being researched, but most of that supposed information never ended up being in the final report once I paid to access it. Links in the report summary implied that there was more information available, but when clicked on... More fees to access that information showed up including requesting me to purchase the same monthly subscription I already paid for! The only good thing I have to say is that after I immediately cancelled my subscription and contacted customer service to request a refund... I was granted it and the customer service representative was very nice. So 10 out of 5 stars for customer service!

Not as Truthful as advertised
The provided information was seriously lacking in detail, especially in the relatives listed. I cancelled after the second billing. Then I was charged again and when I checked the account it had not been canceled, so I canceled online a second time. I did not receive a cancellation notice either time. After talking with 2 customer service representatives, I finally dot the confirmation. The second representative stated that the charges for this month were being reversed and that we would receive the money in our account in 3 to 5 business days.
What does the question "Are you a resident of California?" have to do with anything? The representative can see where we are from by looking at the account. Unless this is a way to screen callers to be able to not pay customers back because of laws in California?

Worst experience ever…
Truth finder did not actually help me locate the party I needed to find. Even when I attempted to cancel the membership, you messed that process up.
You had no problem billing me but couldn’t find an account with my zip code when I tried to cancel.
When I called the 800 #, it took about 15 rings for someone to pick; than I got a guy who only have listened to me, and proceeded to try to up sell me into yet another package. Yikes, now I’m stuck…..

The website leads you through an interminable series of pages taking at least 10 minutes of time to get through only to find out that the only way to get a report is to purchase at a minimum a 1 month subscription. Such a waste of time. They should be upfront about what they will charge and should offer an option of a one-time report.
