Very disappointed with Trust Wallet

Very disappointed with Trust Wallet. There was a major incident during the winter that many users are aware of, and unfortunately I ended up being one of the affected people. After that situation, my wallet was compromised and my funds were stolen. What’s even worse is the response from support — mostly generic replies with no real attempt to investigate or help. It feels like user security is not a priority at all. No compensation, no accountability. Just silence and шаблонные ответы. Completely unacceptable.

trust wallet is scam

i lost around 2k to worth of btc on 25 dec extension hack,

that's funny, Trust Wallet, a decentralized wallet acting like a bank now, requires a government ID. I think you're even asking Selfie about my stolen cryptocurrency later. That's funny, do I use the wallet decentralized as an exchange? Why do I have to provide a government ID and a police report, another funny thing. Am I using a trust wallet as a bank? You guys want my name to indicate email as a transaction receipt? How can I prove my name on the blockchain? ,,, shame on you i will quite trust wallet and will share my review on Trustpilot to stay away from this scam wallet, change your name as UNtrust Wallet it better

Trust Wallet asked me to provide following list as a victim who lost their funds.

To continue processing your claim, we still need the following items:

Evidence of address ownership
Screenshot from the Browser Extension showing of your wallet address. This can be found by tapping the "Receive" button and taking a screen capture of the address screen featuring a QR code.
Please attach a screenshot or an email of a receipt of funding of the wallet from a centralized exchange or onramp clearly dated before 24 Dec 2025. The receipt must also clearly indicate your name and the funded wallet address so that we can verify your identity and ownership of the funded address.
Government-issued ID document2
E.g. passport, driver's license etc. that shows your full name and photograph. This information will only be used for the purposes of processing and validating claims and will be deleted at the conclusion of our claims process. Claims submitted without this information will not be processed.
Police Report (Recommended)

Once we receive this information, it will be reviewed by our team to see if it meets the parameters identified by our security team.

Want my money back

I am a victim of Boilerroom fraude by Suisseequity, no more on internet since my review. All the funds in total Euro
286.500.-- in BTC, went without my concent or knowlegde form my Austrian account with 21 Bitcoin( FOR DIGITAL ) to a private wallet in Trustwallet, all in 18 Transfers in September.
Confronting trustwallet you get a story of open door to the blockchain, cannot
get funds back etc.
So they act as a kind of fencers for stolen Crypto-currency without asking any questions about the origin of funds,
Even when it is quite obvious, that these funds are stolen. If i do not get my money back ult. 15-1-2026 i will report have to report to the FBI, that Trustwallet facilitates Crypto-criminals
with embazzlement of stolen funds.
So do know with what kind of company
you are dealing with.

Trust wallet took my XRP

I opened a Trust wallet account as requested with 10 XRP a while back but never used the account but checked on it now and then. Very recently I had a message that my 10 XRP has been withdrawn and the only way that can be done if Trust wallet itself was hacked or someone within the Trust wallet organisation stole it

The name should be untrusted walet!

I feel really sorry for myself that i didn't do research about the trustwalet before i transferred my assets on it. To me if a company serves a service but without the customer service is a big scam. Please be careful before putting the money that you have worked hard for it in this wallet!!!

Lack of security

Lack of security, they enter the account and transfer your money, I really don't know if they won't be the ones who keep the money. Poor assistance and do not respond to problems

Trust Wallet is not reliable

i have had an issue with one of my token holdings on Trust Wallet for about 6 months now and they have been unwilling to resolve the issue. (It shows the wrong count in my wallet and i cannot sell it or transfer it) I will be moving all of my holdings off of their wallet as they have proven not to be reliable. There are so many choices for Digital Wallets these days there is not any reason for anyone to stay with a provider that does not stand behind their product and Trust Wallet does not.
