I am reading the reviews which there are, apparently, more bad reviews than good and it seems that, with all of them, they give a standard reply to contact them and they will be happy to resolve it...even though there are several reviews complaining about lack of communication and not being able to reach anyone.

Hi again Ian, our response to your last review was rather personalized, and as we stated, we clearly cannot discuss personal account information publicly.

We invite you to reach out to us using any of the contact information provided, or which you may find again at www.77elite.com, who is currently managing the progress of your account.

Please connect with them directly (as this is not a communication forum) to answer anything you need about your account, which is active and shows progress. 😊

In addition, we’d like to mention that Trust Pilots format encourages people like yourself to leave negative reviews, in order to coax a huge membership fee out of us, so that we can better control which reviews appear publicly. We do not subscribe to this mafia style of doing business, where we need to pay for a highly graded rating. Our A+ rating comes from the Consumer Loan Bureau - not the latest version of “yelp”. For real connection and assistance please contact us directly, as using this format only helps to monetize Trust Pilot and support poor practices of actual resolution.

Are you affiliated with fedloan…

Hi there, we are so sorry to hear of your frustration! FedLoan Servicing is currently being sued by the United States government for gross mismanagement, scams and other financial crimes against student loan borrowers.

While we are not “affiliated” with that company, we are required to work with them if they maintain a file for a client.

If you have any concerns regarding who to trust you may refer to www.consumerloanbureau.com, or if you have any direct questions for us, we are more than pleased to help set things right.

Please reach out to processing@77elite.com with any specific account concerns. They are the legal document processor currently managing your file, and are available to help you right away.

I was excited to use the company to…

I was excited to use the company to help pay on my student loan, however, they didn't pay on my loan as supposed to which has affected my credit and they have not returned any of my phone calls to resolve situation. Student loan department told me to take them to court for fraudulent use of my money and not paying or communicating. Unnecessary stress and extreme disappointment with this company. Wishful and hopeful for better/ honest services.

Acts like a SCAM company

This seems like a scam. The payments are NOT based on income level. I tried to tell you that I already spoke with the US Dept of EDU and even emailed you a copy of the form that I had sent to them. I explained my dire situation with my husband's job loss and medical condition, but I was still charged over $200 for 2 months of your NOT getting my student loans out of default. I spoke directly with US Dept to get my loans out of default and prevent garnishment after paying you to do that. You wouldn't email or mail the form I needed to stop the automatic draft from my account and the person "assigned to my account" was never available when I called. Not acceptable. As far as my opinion, you owe me my money back.

I applied for a loan forgiveness

I applied for a loan forgiveness. I was told one would take place with a monthly fee. Okay, because it sound so good, I allowed the fee to be taken from my bank account monthly.

I was told I would not have to re-pay the loan. Not true. As of January 2019, I am responsible to pay FedLoan a monthly fee to avoid employment wage garnish and with another company Navient, I have to re-apply for IBR to avoid the same.

I contacted 77 Elite, company of which misled me to believe I would not have to re-pay and was informed that because my place of employ was not non-profit, I was responsible to pay accordingly.

I was more than hurt. I was almost in tears but, I remained strong and made it so the company would no longer be able to take any monies from my bank account.

What is being done is theft! It should not be allowed. I want someone besides myself to know the truth about the matter. The whole story should be told in the beginning not half the story. If the whole story were told, the company would not have customers.

You portended that your organization was connected to American Student Assoc lloans. You clearly are not! I’ve now connected with a legitimate company associated with ASA and on track where I need to be. I have filed complaints against you with not only Better Business Bureau for your area, Consumer Financial and the Attorney General for my state. I’ve also included that document/form where you make acthreat if one was to contact their bank. You are a scam and a fraud! I want my money returned of $299.00 and $179.00.

To be honest

To be honest, I don't believe that I made a good decision with Trust Arrow. I could have done the exact same service and not paid anything at all if I had done it on my own. When I talked to the agent, I was crying, emotional, overwhelmed, and understood that Trust Arrow was the only means by which I could apply for Student Forgiveness. I now know that that is not the case and I wouldn't have had to pay nearly $1000 in order to consolidate and send the paperwork myself. Also, I didn't realize that while I was on the phone, the Trust Arrow representative was going to be accessing my FAFSA as though they were me. I didn't realize that that was going on until after I was contacted by FAFSA. It seems like that should be illegal.

Update: 03/10/2021
This is *not* a competitive reviewer. I am a real client who lost $1000 and I have the paperwork and bank statements to prove it. Please do not waste your time with this. Go straight to FedLoan Services. They are available to chat on the phone and can explain everything. I was naive and didn't know better. I just don't want the same thing to happen to anyone else.

Hello Patricia, thank you for your updated communication. We see you are a valid client who has received misinformation. The service you applied for takes 6-8 weeks to complete for qualified agencies such as ours, or it can take an individual 6-9 months to attempt the process on their own.

Generally speaking, our clients are people who prefer to pay a service that provides a guarantee of savings and enrollment, rather than attempting the 6-9 month process alone. Individual applications are rejected at a rate of over 90% due to regulatory or compliance matters the borrower is unaware of, causing further delays if the process needs to be started over from scratch, if that is even still an option.

Often it is not, as one seemingly minor mistake can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars and cannot be undone when it comes to Federal student loans. For these reasons our agency works diligently to provide guarantees of service, offers refunds for denials, and continued education on these matters.

In the case of FedLoan Servicing, we would not advise recommending them, as they are currently being sued by the US government, numerous states, and individual borrowers for “scamming” their clients. We maintain an unbiased A+ rating through the Consumer Loan Bureau for good reason, and encourage your continuing investigation of our company there, as well as Fed Loan Servicing, anywhere else. Here’s a few recent articles to get you started, and we welcome your future communication.
