About True Vintage

Europe’s leading online vintage retailer store, hailing from the South West of London. Since starting in 2014 we have grown from the ground upwards and are now consistently supplying customers all around the world with the best in branded vintage.

Our business is built on sustainability, with every vintage item we sell prevented from ending up in landfill. On top of that we have projects which see us upcycle damaged items to create unique one-of-one pieces, and we plant a tree every time an order is placed.

Simply the best

Item came exactly as described and with the option to return, very good service.

Only criticism would be that it 'smelled vintage' - as in its been maybe stored alongside loads of leather jackets and other stuff, but one should expect this and can obviously just wash it!

Never received parcel

Never received parcel although my tracking said it has been delivered. Attempted to contact true vintage through their website, it’s been over a week and I have not had a response.

Poor delivery times and customer service

Ordered the item 2 weeks and still waiting for delivery. Customer service didn’t seem to care that it was for a present despite a 2-3 business day expectation for delivery. Offered a generic 10% off next order which is available to all customers. Won’t be shopping there again.

Thank you for your recent purchase from True Vintage.

Reviewing your order details, we can see your order was placed on 26th December 2021. We state on our website that we don’t fulfil orders on public holidays, meaning your order was processed and dispatched from our facility on the 29th/30th December, within our one working day window.

We advise delivery will take between 2-3 business days, meaning delivery could have rightfully been expected on 5th January, as the tracking stated. However, as I am sure you can appreciate, staff shortages due to covid and increased volume during the busy holiday period has caused some delays through the network. We apologise on behalf of our courier partners, but frustratingly this situation is outside of anyones direct control.

We also note that we responded to your original email enquiry within our 24 hour window, providing an update and confirmation that your parcel would be delivered today (7th January). As the tracking states, we are happy to see that your order has now been delivered! We apologise that this was not within the original time frame, and recommend our express shipping service for next day delivery within Great Britain. The offer of a discount on your next order was a gesture of goodwill, however if you do not feel this is sufficient, please respond to our customer service team who would love the opportunity to rectify the situation for you.

If there is a problem with your order now it has arrived, you can log a free return for the item through our returns portal on the website.
Whilst your order took slightly longer than anticipated to reach you, I hope you can appreciate that this is more a consequence of the pandemic and ongoing staff shortages around the country, not a reflection of True Vintage (1 star) service.

4.5 Stars ( delivery had a few…

4.5 Stars ( delivery had a few complications) but that’s due to the fact it was ordered during Christmas Eve. The packaging was brilliant. Unfortunately I wanted a L but only M was available. It feels and looks good!
Overall happy with it! Got one for my GF and she enjoys it too
