Scam Site.
Ordered a magazine on 5/25/23. no magazine delivered as of 07/11/23. Went to the website to check the order history and my antivirus finds a malicious script on thier website (AVG Antivirus on a Microsoft Surface pro shut down the page because of "infected with Script:SNH-gen [Trj].) I also tried calling their phone number, automated message. This website is likely a scam. Contacting my credit card company to get a refund.
and the 1 Five Star review is probably fake to make the One Star reviews less obvious.

I can see that you have placed 2 orders for Cooks Illustrated through TrueMagazines.com.
The first order was placed in July 2020 (3 year subscription) while the other one was placed on May 25th 2023.
According to publisher's database your 2020 subscription has expired while the first issue of the 2023 subscription mails out this month.
Please note that standard delivery time for first issues of all bi-monthly published magazines is 7 to 12 weeks.
Your old order has been fulfilled and we have provided you with the account number for your new order. You have also received link to publisher's customer service page where you can verify subscription status.
I hope you have enjoyed your 3 year subscription purchased through us and that you will be enjoying your current subscription which will expire in June 2024.
As for the malicious script you claim was found on our website, the problem was not on our side but on yours. We have emailed link to the alleged malicious script to AVG (your anti-virus provider) and they confirmed that this was false -positive message on their side and they have updated their database so this wouldn't happen again. You can verify this with AVG.
The fact you label us as a fraudulent website is intriguing, given that you have made two purchases on our site since 2020 and both have been fulfilled without any issues. Your assertion that we only have one 5 star review is inaccurate.
Regardless of the fact that you initiated a claim with your credit card company and have received full refund we will not cancel your subscription so you will be getting it for free.

Your order was placed on December 14th 2020 and on the same day you emailed us saying that the delivery address provided during checkout is wrong.
Your order was immediately put on hold and we asked you to send us correct delivery address.
We sent you another email but we never received your reply with the correct delivery address so in April 2021 your order was cancelled and full refund was issued to your credit card account.
You were notified of the order cancellation and refund via email in April 2021.
We apologize for sending the renewal notice. Renewal notices are mailed out automatically to all our customers based on the order date.
