Tru tension laser alignment tool. To use the tool as shown on the illustration you need to remove the chain guard. To do this you need to remove the wheel which necessitates the removal of the chain from the rear sprocket. Wheel removed, guard removed. Wheel and chain back on. Chain alignment done. Here's where it all falls apart. I have a chain guard that needs to go back on. Chain off, Wheel off. Chain guard back on, wheel and chain back on. Chain alignment again! But the chain guard is in the way. Doesn't work unless you put the laser on the underside of the sprocket. But if you have chain slack the laser won't travel the length of the chain as the dip in the chain obscures the laser point.
