Troubador Publishing has published several of my books. Everyone I worked with from editing, to production as well as cover details have been extremely knowledgeable and respectful. Most important my books have been published in a timely manner. I highly recommend Troubador Publishing.

Low cost, efficient and professional service, perfect for self-publishing

My second novel, "A Painkiller to Die For," will be published by Troubador towards the end of July some two years after Troubador published my first novel. If there were to be third - please no, I can hear my wife saying! - then I wouldn't consider going anywhere other then back to Troubador. Publishing is complex and Troubador have the expertise and experience to guide you every step of the way from that first draft to seeing your book on the shelves in high street bookshops. The services offered are extensive and it is very much left to the author to pick and choose how much support they need. I never felt pressured to opt for any of the products offered. In summary, I would thoroughly recommend Troubador to any authors who are looking for their book to be read and hopefully appreciated beyond just close family and friends.

I wanted to create a different kind of poetry book that was quite a mixture of styles, different stanzas, all sorts of fonts to compliment the poetry and suitable photography; all of it being my own work; but had a specific idea of how it should look.
Troubador were very conscientious, understanding and worked with me very well to bring it to fruition.

Publishing is complex. Very complex. Rather than researching how to self-publish myself for hours on end, I used Troubador to a great effect. And they had a lot of patience in dealing with my queries, and my wishlists. I think it was a shrewd investment on my part.

I have been with Troubador since 2018 and just published my 4th crime thriller with them. I thoroughly researched for a publisher I could work with for the first in my series, and quickly knew I'd found the right company. Every step is laid out in detail, the communication is brilliant, there is so much choice regarding their various services, (not a one size fits all approach at all), and I get the choice to title my books, design all my covers, and even state the font and size of text. The result is always, always, exactly what I had in my head and my heart, proven yet again by the fabulous quality paperbacks I had delivered of 'Fire & Ice' for my events, only a few days ago. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else.
