I unsubscribed from their mailing list multiple times, but I still kept getting a lot of promotional emails. It got really frustrating, especially because they just kept coming: I had to delete my account completely just to get rid of them.
This honestly makes me question how they handle user consent and privacy.

I think they're doing a great job
From what I can tell Treedom does just what you expect them to do: plant trees supporting the local communities involved in their projects.
They regularly send me proof of that through pictures and updates.
The few communications I had with them were also satisfying.

Fantastic Customer Service Experience
I'm writing to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent customer service I received.
My issue was that my account was linked to an old, inactive email address, and I needed to change it to my current one. The person who handled my request was incredibly helpful, efficient, and kind.

I love Treedom
I love Treedom. My first two trees were a corporate gift, and I plaan a tree or two every year now. If you cant afford much, there are trees you can plant for less than $20! It's a great way to plant trees and give socially and economically to others as well.

The business isn't trustable
The business isn't trustable, only a lot of marketing.
No real value, they send same picture of a plant as many others.
Revenue of millions every year, 80 dollar a plant
Save your money, plant in your garden for few cents.
EDIT: As usual, they flagged to trustpilot my review as diffamatory, when i actually describing the truth, as happened to many others.
I've also searched online and can't find exact gps locations of all they claim to plant, as opposite to other companies who put in their sites online gps tracking and story/ owners, co2 seized, of each specific land. Beware, i hope someone will investigate this company who makes fun of people money.
Before wasting your money, ask them via mail to provide detailed description and gps location, owner of each land.
You will see they will never tell you detailed informations, i asked and they pretended not seeing my requests, answering with a youtube link connected to an influencer video walking around some lands.
Be really careful, they make millions over millions based on marketing, but there are so many good companies out there, certified with real useful projects, and not lucrative based on thin air

There’s no issue with someone expressing that Treedom is not to their liking (we fully respect differing opinions) but it is not acceptable to spread information that is demonstrably false.

This is false. Each tree has its own unique code to which the GPS coordinates and the picture of that specific tree are assigned at the time of planting. We also maintain a public and freely accessible registry of all trees planted, which you can find here: https://www.treedom.net/en/page/register.

This seems to stem from a misunderstanding. Every tree on our platform displays its GPS coordinates. If someone is unable to use them correctly, that does not mean the data is not provided.

It is impossible to see the progress of your tree. Even after years, I received only one photo of my tree. And to be honest, I am not even sure it was my tree and not the same photo they send everyone...

Each tree planted through Treedom has a unique identification code, geographic coordinates, and a photo taken at the moment of planting, which you can find on its dedicated online page. We assure you that these are real images taken in the field. Additionally, all trees are recorded in the Register of Trees, a public database where you can verify their authenticity (https://www.treedom.net/en/page/register).
Beyond this, your tree is part of a wider agroforestry project designed to generate environmental, social, and economic benefits while empowering local communities. Through collaborations with NGOs, associations, and local organizations, we support projects that help combat climate change and deforestation, create job opportunities and income for local communities who care for the trees and harvest their fruits, and fight poverty and gender inequality, as seen in Guatemala, where women play a key role in managing initiatives.

Great Job and very helpful
Just had the guys here to trim a tree and remove two palm trees. Did an outstanding job and then cleaned up. Could not fault them and would highly recommend them.
