FRAUD and misrepresentation of terms

I purchased a travel package for approximately $3,800 from Travel O Deal. The company failed to disclose material terms prior to purchase, including that airfare and train tickets were non-refundable and that travel insurance was not offered. When I attempted to cancel due to a serious family illness, I was only offered $800 back. I believe this constitutes misrepresentation and deceptive business practices conducted through online and phone sales.

They are scammers

They are scammers. Bought ticket and then they sent urgent email saying not able to book flight unless I pay more money. They also don't provide ATOL certificate when requested. Also, on website they have fake trustpilot score saying it's 4.1 but there is no link to trustpilot. It took me about 50 calls, literally to get my issue resolved... kind of... they said that ticket was non refundable... and that I had to pay increase. They also couldn't not provide

If you value your sanity

If you value your sanity, do NOT book anything with Travodeals.
I bought round-trip tickets from Orlando to New York and the nightmare began the next day. They claimed the flight was “sold out” and forced me to change airline, airport, and times — and even made me pay an extra $250 because they said the original ticket was non-refundable.

For the return flight, even though I had paid for early check-in, they never sent my boarding pass. I arrived at the airport with nothing and faced rudeness, sarcasm, and zero help. Then they suddenly said there were no seats left on my flight. I had to rush to another airport, spend more money on transportation, and accept a worse itinerary with a long connection, arriving almost 15 hours late.

Travodeals shows total incompetence, dishonesty, and disrespect. I’m still waiting for answers about the extra expenses.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Deceptive Practices, Overcharging, and Pressured Sales - Beware!

Booking ID: 479570
I am utterly appalled by the unethical and deceptive practices I’ve experienced with Travelodeal, and I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from them to proceed with extreme caution.
1. Pressure to Accept Unfair Deals:
I purchased a Wowcher mystery holiday voucher for £129 each, with the intention of having a pleasant, relaxing holiday. After paying an additional £40 to change the location to Costa del Sol (a reasonable decision given the safety concerns with the original location), I was contacted by Sandra from Travelodeal, who pressured me into accepting a deal that I was clearly uncomfortable with. I was told that the deal would not be available unless I paid immediately and that it was the "best" offer available, despite the additional costs being unreasonably high.
2. Overcharging and Deceptive Pricing:
Sandra then informed me that I had to pay an additional £366 to secure the deal. When I later checked the prices online, I found that the same hotel could have been booked for £262 — meaning I was overcharged by £218.04. This is a clear case of price gouging and misrepresentation. I was charged far more than necessary for accommodation and flights that were not properly explained to me.
3. Unacceptable Request for My Personal Information:
Perhaps the most concerning part of this ordeal was when Sandra asked for my Ryaniar login details, which I absolutely refused to provide due to security concerns. Instead, she insisted I give her my email address, so she could create an account on my behalf, further raising serious privacy and data protection concerns. This is not only a massive breach of trust, but may also be a violation of GDPR laws.
4. Flight Booking Without My Explicit Consent:
Sandra then went ahead and booked middle-of-the-night flights for £183.96, without my consent or clear understanding of the costs involved. I was also given no opportunity to review or approve these bookings, further demonstrating their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer consent.
5. Widespread Customer Complaints:
Upon investigating this company further, I found that many others have had similarly dreadful experiences. Customers have reported being pressured to change negative reviews to positive ones in order to receive refunds, while others have arrived at hotels only to find that their bookings didn’t exist at all or hadn’t been paid for. This speaks volumes about the business ethics of Travelodeal.
LEGAL ACTION AND DEMAND FOR REFUND:
Given the amount of money I have been overcharged, the distress caused, and the possible legal violations involved (misrepresentation, data protection breach, unfair trading practices), I demand an immediate refund for the overcharge of £218.04 and for the unacceptable flight booking charges. If I do not receive a satisfactory response and resolution from this company within 14 days, I will pursue legal action through small claims court and report this matter to Trading Standards and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for investigation of potential breaches of consumer rights and data protection laws.
I strongly advise anyone considering using this company to avoid them at all costs. Their tactics are deceptive, their pricing is unethical, and their customer service is extremely aggressive. Don’t let yourself fall victim to the same poor treatment I received. Legal action is my next step if this isn’t resolved immediately.

They show unavailable pricing to get your credit card info and then tell you rate is sold out , my $79 ticket turned into $390 ….this is a straight up scam website that has a spelling very close to a reputable site. TOTAL SCAM TO GET YOUR IDENTITY AND CREDIT CARD INFO. The prices are NOT available, and when asking questions to the agents they hang up when pressed for when the rate will be available. Now they are texting me and stating the price advertised is NEVER available.

The actual website :

Customer service interaction on third phone call, other two agents hung up on me:

Me: When can I buy a ticket to Miami for $79 as advertised. Tell me this and book it.

Just don't.

Just don't.

My flight from London to Shanghai was delayed by more than 24 hours, so I'm told by Virgin that I have to seek compensation through the travel agent. So I call Travo Deals, they say okay they're on the case, they'll get back to me. A month goes by, silence. Call them again. "Yes, could you remind me of the details. Okay my colleague is looking into it". 2 months go by, nothing. Call again. "The refund team isn't available, we will call you back tomorrow." 2 weeks, nothing. Call again. "The refund team isn't available we'll call you back." "No, you said that last time." "Very sorry sir, we will definitely call you back". 2 months, nothing. Call again. "I'm sorry but because you boarded the flight that the airline arranged a day later, you are not entitled to compensation." "So you're saying that because I boarded the extremely delayed flight, I void my right to compensation for a delayed flight?" "Yes sir, trust me I know the rules, unless you have a letter to prove that they are willing to offer compensation there's nothing we can do"

Never again. Well worth it to pay the little extra to avoid this disorganised catastrophe of a company.

TRAVODEAL IS A SCAM COMPANY booked online 2 non stop flying…

I booked online 2 non stop flying tickets, round trip from mci to atl which is $210/ person. The next day an Indian agent called me and said that they just could book 1 way for us. He would reimburse for us to buy the return trip from somewhere else. The problem is the cost of one way ticket is $160. I said that I bought round trip, not one way. If they can't sell the tickets as they post on their website, they have to return the money to the customer. They said that it is a non refundable money. I asked :"if so, where are my tickets?". They said that if I want round trip tickets I have to pay $162 more for each. After fighting back and forth, they said they would return my money within 7 days, I said that they have to return my money right now, right away or I would get a third party involve. Finally they were ok. The problem is after fighting with them, I checked my bank account and saw that they hadn't withdraw money from my bank account. It turned out that they tried to scare the customers that the customers will loose their money if they don't pay more to buy the tickets.
I wish I could give this company 0 star.

AWEFUL!!!!!

Many things went wrong! By the end of our working together and our transactions … I was furious!

This agent came on line after it was made to look like I was going to be connected with someone from Southwest as that’s how their connection made it seem. This was the first of many times I had been led astray! This agent talked very fast and I asked him several times to slow down so I could understand and also keep track of what was happening. He did that for a teeny bit of time and went right back to talking very very fast. When I asked him to repeat he did not like that. after several times of that I finally asked him “Are you with Southwest?”
Ok, I’m going to skip the conversations and go right to what the problems were. There are quite a few so please stick with me, please.
Agent booked me in “legs” rather than round trip with a lay over. I was going to three cities and I saw that as 3 flights but agent booked it as 2,2,and 1 flight.
I found if one leg arrived late and I missed the second
leg I had to forfeit that ticket and repurchase. On and on I go…
And imagine paying luggage For each leg! Speaking of luggage each piece has a charge except for an item such as a backpack… unless an inch extra… then pay a hefty fee… some reviewers said over $100 !
Items are measured right at the gate! And pay for a seat!!!??? Well, what do you think about buying tickets through this traveodeal? (And I have spare you some of the details.) Do not do it!

I booked a flight with this company and…

I booked a flight with this company and my flight was through Southwest then I get a call from them like several of people have with this company and my flight was canceled now they wanted me to pay more money. I think it’s a scam. I think it’s horrible that you rip off the people here, then I was booked a flight through Spirit, which is the worst company in the damn airline industry and they still could not find me the same type of flight saying that “someone else paid more money for the flight that you had so you lost your seat and now we have to book you through spirit airlines so that you won’t have to pay anymore money it’s a rip off from hell. my name is Kent Harper and I will never use this Company again nor will I ever take freaking spirit Airlines I feel they should not refund my money but go out of business. Do not do this to anyone else now I’m missing my son‘s graduation which was on 21st May and I’m supposed to be leaving here on 20th May. There should’ve been no reason why my flight got canceled. They should’ve honored finding me another flight the same day instead of doing what they did I think it’s horrible and I don’t think they should be in business anymore and someone needs to do something about this.
