I have still not had any payment from…

I have still not had any payment from axa after 7 months they have come up with ever excuses .I payed £ 180 for my medical records that they asked for .barhead travel also sent them all the information that they asked for . I am 81 years old and this has been so stressful. I have already put this on trust pilot but it has not made any difference .

I am sorry to hear that you have still not heard from AXA regarding your claim and the frustration this may have caused.
I have found your policy and can see that the claims documents from Barhead travel were submitted to us at Travel Insurance Saver and not the Claims department. These have been sent to Claims.

I will also contact AXA and ask them to contact you as a matter of urgency.

Communication was key

The price was good, luckily I didn’t need to claim, I felt confident that had I needed to it would have been a smooth process, as the company kept in touch via email throughout and I felt secure (being a solo senior citizen), I will definitely use them again
