Have used them for a number of years and found them sort of okay..But they just closed my account overnight blocked all my money and shares account and will not tell me ME why...
I contacted them with very bad response, just telling me to fill the site request form in to get my money back (and told me they can take 40 days to get back to me) but this is done through their web-site and I cant log in because they blocked me !! So have requested for their protection officer contact information and will be submitting a SAR document into them..Mean while I'm stuck with no money and they have mine.. How can this happen today must be illegal what these companies are doing??

Guaranteed rate for 48 hours is a scam

My bank confirmed $$ was received by Transferwise within 24hours.

Instead of sending the $$ onward immediately to recipient at the guaranteed rate, Wise waited a full 24+ hours until the 48hr window expired and sent onward at a worse rate that I had never agreed to.

Lost £900 to this deceptively veiled scam outfit. DO NOT TRUST.

i have been using this, now just called Wise for several years and i have been super happy and impressed. Cheap, fast, reliable. I wont even try others becasue this works superbly for me. Mainly transfering between US and India but havealso used for sending to other countries and never a problem or glitcj

So, money supposed to come in today in the wise account, this payment will be bounced back to the sender and not getting paid until next week, at least I hope this will be working. 2 kids and the income is only on my back. And that income just been sabotaged by your team Wise. Deactivated my account without any notification, email or phone . All my failed Direct Debit is on you. And my family feelings to . Congratulations for a so successful company.

Since January 2021 I have been trying to resolve an issue with transferwise. I transferred £200 to my card wise, after that my account was blocked and I couldn't use the card. I've already sent several emails for them to return the money, but they take a long time to respond and never solve it, I already sent the bank transfer receipt and after that they didn't answer me anymore.

There are no upfront cost, but right after signing up, there is a hefty fees on activating & using the service. online services Corona virus pandemic scam.

I am trying to transfer from my Transferwise GBP account to my Transferwise EUR account. It’s now been 4 days and the action has not been completed. I’ve lost the guaranteed rate and will now get whatever. It’s all within Transferwise so I really don’t understand what the issue is!! I asked about the delay on a previous transaction and was told they were waiting for the funds to arrive (from Transferwise to TransferWise) go figure.

After I decided to register my business account with them and received few business payments they decided to close all my accounts and some money I held in my personal and business account are stuck with them still today.
This really wasted lots of my time, harmed my relationship with the client and as of today I lost both, personal and business money for unclear reason. Hoping it will still get to me some day..

I tried BankTransfer today. I could not complete it as my bank says the BIC/SWIFT Code is invalid. I double triple checked. Just as an extra information i chose SEPA transfer from Poland to Transferwise Belgium. Not sure if this is correct. Nevertheless reverted to transfer using debit card. Initated on 8th Aug. Estmate shows will receive on destination on 10th. This is not how TW used to be.

How are transfer wise going to hold my funds and tell me they wont give it back until after 60days. So they tried to close my account and then invest my funds to get interest before then returning my funds. This should be illegal, my funds came from a direct source and no questions have been requested regarding my funds but yet they want to hold onto my funds and advising they dont have to give me a reason.
This is totally not fair, especially at this moment of pandemic when everyone is struggling with jobs and making payment. am i suppose to tell all my contractors to wait 60 days till i make payments to them too

I open account at SEPTEMBER 18. Everything was going very good until OCTOBER 8. I have done and receive payments low cost very quickly. OCTOBER 8 when i try to login,my account was deactivated with no mail or sms or phone call to notify me. All my trasfers that was pending was send back to the accounts i have received them. After that they ask me do to appeal form to reactivate the account. I do this and they dont accept to reactivate my account.
AT NOVEMBER 6 they confirm this and ask me to send a bank statement with my details in order to POSSIBLY refund the funds in my account.
Today is NOVEMBER 17 and no mail or any confirmation from TW.
They promp to use their service, but when you use them they deactivate accounts make you to lose your contact and dont know yet if they keep your money.

I had my PERSONAL ACCOUNT blocked without notice on 6th September and after 70 days they didnt give me back my balance which was approximately 6000 euro. No one news from call center and only a few email answer saying I need to wait as the due diligence is taking longer than expected. Stay away from them in the last 3 months there are thousands of cases like mine. About you guys please take in mind that we need this money and your behave is creating big issue in my family and I hope you know that it is a behave totally insane.
