Good service - Bad Focus
Good service. Good showers. Old equipment for weight training… in my opinion this gym has totally wrong focus… cardio area is huge and almost nobody was using it… but the other equipment is on tiny space with a lot of people there… impossible to train normally…
Very disappointed poor on the facilities there
Very disappointed. I had a day pass which apparently I found out when I wanted to exit the gym to buy water was only for 2 hours,,,,really! The receptionist did not tell me and I didn't read the small print. No water fountains you had to be a member to get water, hygiene
well no hand sanitizers and no hair dryers. I bought my own towel and locker key. Not happy at all and I travel and go to gyms around the world.
Great💪 Nice Big center
1000% would not recommend
Wouldn’t recommend!
If you can find another gym facility in Lisbon you should probably go their and save yourself the time and frustration
of this gym.
My husband and I wanted to use this gym (day pass) during our vacation in Lisbon. We had already been travelling for 3 weeks and had used many other gyms across Europe during our vacation.
When we arrived we were we told we needed the app to purchase our day pass. After purchasing our day passes we were then told we needed a towel with us in order to use the facility. The website hadn’t disclosed this information and we were only told after we purchased our passes. We then had to leave and find a store where we could purchase a towel as our hotel wasn’t close. After annoyingly having to search for towels in Lisbon we were able to return and finally use the gym.
It was packed at 13:30 on a Wednesday. There were lots of open cardio machines available however, the free weight area was crammed full of people and the turf was being used for a cardio dance class the entire 1.5hrs we were there. It was hot and we were all packed in like sardines trying to work out. At the the end of our workout we noticed the only place to get water was from a machine that had a pass code. I asked the employee working if we could fill our bottle of water and he said it was only for members not for those with day passes. It seemed ridiculous as water is a necessity and we had paid 9€ for a day pass. My husband then took our water bottle and filled it up in the bathroom from the sink as we were both extremely dehydrated after our workout.
The entire experience was frustrating and defeating.
Oh, and we were never required to use our towels once 🤦🏼♀️
Useful app, a bit expensive though
The App is very easy to use and it was easy to find the gym. I used the App in Lisbon and everything went very smooth. I think it’s a great tool!
The only I thing I would criticize is the price. I payed around 9 euro for 2 hours, which is very expensive in comparison to the monthly fee of the gym which is around 20€
All very professional from the first…
All very professional from the first phone call to make class reservation to getting a tour of facilities on arrival.
The venue is excellent and has every facility off a top class gym.
The staff are helpful and professional.
The Pilates teacher was a polish girl and she was excellent.
Trained at FitnessHut in Lisbon
Trained at FitnessHut in Lisbon. 10€ for 2 hours!? What a ripoff. At least give me a whole day, why you gotta be so greedy?
Great easy and affordable gym
TrainAway app easy to use 👌
I use to come in Thoroes Gym in Aalborg… I use TrainAway in my holiday and went to Club fitness in Hedensted 💪 The TrainAway app was easy and okay to use 👌
Great
Great, used one in Lisbon. Clean, really well equipped, friendly staff.
Terrible gym
Terrible gym: bad equipment, no space, strict rules (so they can make more money), little to no help from staff.
However you can do a workout there but I wouldn’t go there again. They just care for money and not their members
Don’t recommend this place.
Didn’t work
The gym — which is listed as a partner in the app — had never heard of TrainAway and suggested it might be a scam. Probably worth calling ahead before booking with this app.
Very easy to use the app
Very easy to use the app, great to be able to work out when away from home👍🏻
Great app and easy to use
Great app and easy to use. Look forward to using it next time I travel.
I paid 9 € for onetime 2hrs workout
I paid 9 € for onetime 2hrs workout. Equipment is in high quality and well maintained, staff is friendly and overall looks pretty clean.
One important thing that ruined the whole experience is that there is no cold water fountain anywhere in the gym. It’s a critical thing especially when it comes to fitness centers.
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I was in Lisbon for a couple of days and wanted to pop in here To use the gym for a quick 30 minutes. It wasn’t possible to just pay ( either card or cash) at the desk. You had to have the hassle of downloading the app and signing up ( which isn’t ideal when you’re internet isn’t working because you’re in a different country). It cost almost €10 for my pass, which he said was for 24 hours, then when I was clarifying that I’d be able to use it early the next morning ( before the 24 hours was up) only then was he more transparent and said NO. All this aside, I was appalled that I didn’t have access to the water fountain to refill my bottle because it was for members only. I have been to a lot of gyms over the years In MANY different countries, and never have I been denied access to the water fountain. Finally, there was a very poor standard of hygiene, which is unacceptable given that we are only just emerging from a pandemic . There is no tissue in this gym to clean down your machine or weights. Instead, there were the same two grubby black clothes that everyone used to wipe their sweat away. Disgusting. Do not go here.
Fitness Hut in Aveiro is really good…
Fitness Hut in Aveiro is really good and nicely located in the biggest shopping mall in town.
