Dissapointing service

I recently had a truly disappointing experience with TPG Broadband's home wireless service, and if I could leave a negative review, I absolutely would. From the outset, the connection was very unreliable and spotty at best, often dropping out entirely during crucial moments. Customer service was equally frustrating; when I reached out for help, I faced long wait times and unhelpful responses that left me feeling completely ignored.

To make matters worse, the speeds promised were nowhere near what I was receiving, making everyday tasks impossible. It became so bad that speed tests often failed due to the extremely low speeds I was experiencing. Overall, my experience with TPG has been nothing short of atrocious. It's hard to believe that a company could provide such a subpar service while still charging for it. If you’re considering TPG for your broadband needs, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

They claim that the speeds are 15/2 mbps avg, but I had experienced 1mbps down and 0.5 mbps up

1/5 Stars | 13-Year Loyalty Wasted—TPG’s Support Is Nightmare. I never waste my time to write reviews about an internet provider, but TPG has pushed me too far. 13 years as a customer, and service’s gone from bad to unforgivable. A simple price question: 45 mins on hold , passed to 4 agents, hung up on. Another 35 mins call, agent promised callback by 10pm—never came. No accountability, no respect. Save your time, switch now.

Service is very bad

Service is very bad. When we try to call and explain our problem they always say 'calm down you need to understand what we are saying' but they don't understand what we are talking about. They took double the payment from our card to pay the wifi. And everytime we did pay it doesn't go through and we end up calling again. This service of theirs is not good, last year we called over and over again with the same problem they never fixed and it is still going. Also when we have a problem and we asked how to solve the problem they said 'I don't have the equipment or I don't know how to solve it and you should search on YouTube.' They work for TPG and they don't know how to solve the problem? Wouldn't that mean they are inexperienced?. Very unhappy with this service.

TPG sucks

TPG sucks - slow process and very poor customer service. Cheap thats why their service is also cheap. Do better so you won’t lose customers.

Tpg fail to deliver on their service promise

Tpg provide a very basic level of service and not much more. You call their service staff and every assurance is given over the phone. Shame they don't actually action anything they promise. 3 calls, same outcome each time. In the end, i needed the assistance of the internet ombudsman to sort the issue. Suffice to say, Tpg is no longer my nbn provider.

I have been with TPG for about 10…

I have been with TPG for about 10 years. I"ve had minimal, if any problems. I'm on the 50 mbps speed, fibre to the premises. Occasional slow down with 5 devices connected. Every time I have had to ring them they have been polite, professional and knowledgeable. I would prefer the call centre to be here in Australia. That's the only thing I can really fault them on. I recently had to enter into financial hardship with them due to a downturn in work and they were absolutely fantastic!! They have also matched an opposition carriers pricing for 12 months. Happy customer here!!

no reception, poor services

Ive got no reception and i live in a major city in Australia (unacceptable) Its the poorest service i have received from any telecommunications service provider ive ever experienced. Good luck making any emergency calls from your device. TPG has seriously let me down. I do not recommend this company.

Best Move Ever

Best Move Ever, Mobile coverage inside my House is way better than the Telstra Wholesale Network and Great (When I say Great I mean Brilliant) Prices on there Medium Mobile Plan 50GB for 30 Dollars a month and also there 5G home broadband band which for 100/18 mbps is only 64 dollars a month and also the reason why I switched is that exetel wouldn’t give us a free upgrade to the 500mbps plan which most opticomn providers would have done by now, anyway at least I’m saving like $20 and if the mobile coverage is good I’m sure they will have great internet too

And they have great new customer deals too particularly with the 5G home broadband and mobile plans

And they also have 24/7 technical support, not even Telstra would do such a thing

And if I don’t like TPG 5G broadband I can simply return the modem back to them

TPG The worst internet provider I ever ,I…

The worst internet provider I ever ,I am appaled how bad the service is and the so called after service help...I am so upset..I was with Vodafone, never ever had such problems...I regret 😢 I left Vodafone and got TPG....I am a Youtuber,I need speed,and I fell for their discount campaign and I have the slowest internet ever the upload insistent....don't fall for TPG ...totally dissatisfied....

Absolutely pathetic experience with…

Absolutely pathetic experience with TPG. I have been on the phone with them non stop for two weeks to resolve an internet outage issue. Transferred to multiple departments, no resolution. They had incorrectly recorded my personal details and had to jump through additional hoops to verify the mistake that they made in the first place! Meanwhile I have been charged for a service that I can't even use. If I could give the rating a minus one I would. Issue still not resolved, no end in sight, and no internet.

Absolutely horrendous

Absolutely horrendous
First 3 months internet kept dropping out for over a week, they would send someone out, fix it, then it drops out again for 2 weeks. Hired someone privately to fix it and it was then fine. Put in a formal complaint and never heard back from them.
Cancelled the account and had nothing but problems. Kept deducting money despite cancellation. Called 3 times across the span of 4 weeks and kept getting told it was refunded and never was. Called again today, and told it was 'refunded to a closed account'.

So inefficient

After 14 days still they have not managed to send the right SIM and activation after calling 4 times and spending hours on line each time.
I don't recommend this company to anyone unless I hate them more will extend our plans with this poor service company!

TPG is a customer service nightmare…

After a week of frustration the TPG wireless modem i have used until th einternet stopped working they said I need to go back on the NBN. I had to buy a new modem which is a disgrace. The new modem arrived and the internet has been on and off for 2 days, the TPG service has been absolutely disgraceful, people were going to contact me and havent. They were going to advise how i can return the modem and 3 times i asked and they were going to come back to me. Still nothing. I am not asking again. This is a very poor and severely understaffed operation, i spent at least 2 hours on the phone. Its time to change the network, i want a refund for money paid and income lost and I will walk away.

This has to be the worst ever company…

This has to be the worst ever company and we are now taking legal advice. We have been trying to cancel our phone service for literally 6 months. They have messed us about and continued to take money from our account even though we asked them to cancel everything for 6 months and they could see by looking at our phone numbers that we haven't even used our tpg numbers in all those months. It feels like theft, daylight robbery, taking money for a service thats not even being used. Calling the ombudsman tomorrow and the police, it just feelings like fraud and theft. Disgusting service and even more Disgusting company. They should be closed down and investigated and thats what we will be asking the authorities to do. You've got away with it for way too long TPG. You're a disgrace. And now you've taken 2 payments in 10 days for a service we haven't used in 6 months..

Actually no stars so bad offshore team…

Actually no stars so bad offshore team who has no idea . Just sends you in circles no management will speak to you definitely cheap and it is for a reason not worth it better to pay a little bit extra and get better service . This will be a company that eventually will go under. Last person called by the name of Stephanie Just got me to repeat same thing 4 times which means they were not following and proves they have no idea.
