I was previously with another estate agent who's service was less than optimal therefore I decided to move to Townend.

From the offset the service has been professional and responsive at every stage. Throughout the sale they have kept me informed at every stage and unlike my previous estate agent they proactively provided updates and rang if any issues arose rather than me having to chase.

The same service was provided by the entire team.

I would happily recommend Townsend Estate Agents to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

We had a fantastic experience with Townend Estate Agents. As first-time buyers, the whole process felt pretty daunting at times, but the support we received was exceptional from start to finish.

A big shout-out to Jake and Josh in particular - they were brilliant. They helped arrange two viewings in the same week and, as the property was empty, gave us access on several occasions so we could plan building work and get quotes, which made a huge difference.

They also struck the perfect balance when things became tricky with the solicitors and the seller - supportive, proactive, and reassuring without ever being pushy.

We couldn’t have asked for better support for our first purchase and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Great experience from the start. If I ever had a query I got a more or less instant response. Nothing too much trouble. Really helpful staff throughout the buying process especially Jake, Nina and Josh. They were better than my estate agents I used to sell my property with. Definitely recommend.

Over the past 12 years I have had an excellent experience with Townend, having found them to be professional, efficient and friendly. We originally bought properties from them for rental, which they then managed for us. Over the years we used their varying degrees of property management, and we were always very happy. Excellent tenants were chosen, maintenance issues were communicated promptly and dealt with efficiently, at a reasonable cost. When I decided to sell the properties with the tenants in situ, Jake and Josh were incredibly helpful. The sales were completed easily, the suggested conveyancers were excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Townend Estate Agents.

Martin himself viewed this property we had previously rented out. His advice to sell at auction was invaluable, his experience was such that we felt we were in good hands. As he said the property sold at the price he said it would and everything went as smoothly as we could have wished for. A special thanks to the auction team as there were a number of names on the joint ownership deeds that they needed the patience of a house full of saints while we gathered the necessary inand signatures. I used Townend to sell a house for me through auction. Very professional and the selling price was where I wanted to be. No fees as they are paid by the buyer. The whole thing took 30 days to complete so extremely fast. I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.
