Online would not except make of boat ( jeanneau) had to phone. Quote did not match quote from another company but beat the other quote if you except the £40 amazon voucher. Why!!!! Bring the price of your product down..
After receiving three quotes, and comparing all three towergate came on top. Although not the cheapest,they weren't dearest. Four stars because I was unable to complete on line.

I was needing insurance for a property that is empty and I found the advisor at Towergate to be knowledgeable, helpful, polite and patient as he guided me through the process. If you find yourself in this position Towergate will guide you through the process.

Placed me with GEO / Davies Group. Part of the roof collapsed due to the recent high winds and rain and they failed to cover me. Although, they were happy to take the £1,107.69 premium each year.

Absolutely shocking price we have been paying for public liability insurance! £1700 a year and we went elsewhere and and it’s £180……how can they charge so much!!!! We have been completely ripped off by them! Avoid at all costs!

The worst company I have ever dealt with.
Customer service was poor I was waiting for a quote for over a week, I spoke to a lovely lady after having had one male agent cut the call on me and she had told me that the person who was dealing with my quote had been dismissed. Clearly management doesn’t know how to allocate work load.
I spoke to two team leaders who were no help in sorting my issue and they were dismissive.
In my opinion if you don’t have enough staff don’t get rid of them.

I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Just a simple request to change an e mail address on my account seemed too much for this company to get right. Still waiting for my renewal documents supposedly sent over a week ago.

Using Towergate for insurance of an empty home. I'm a complete technophobe and dread these kinds of dealings. Last year when discussed all my needs they made if simple and easy, giving me exactly what I needed.

Today had to do a renewal over the phone. Lucy was the customer service person I dealt with. So nice to deal with people who are clear, friendly and able to clarify everything step by step.

Went to renew my static caravan insurance with Towergate on Monday 30/09/24. My initial credit card payment of £148 was declined so I tried it again and got declined a second time. I then tried my debit card and this was also declined. When I checked balances of these accounts I could see 3 pending transactions for £148 for Towergate, meaning that I was unable to access nearly £450 of funds should I have needed to. I contacted Towergate who offered me no explanation as to how their system allowed this payment to be held on 3 occasions and seemed more interested in me paying for my renewal over the phone! I then reinsured my caravan with a different company. It is now Friday 4th October and these transactions are still showing as pending on my accounts which is extremely frustrating! Will not use this company again in the future.

following a awful experience with a agent trying to sort a new policy for a inherited empty property. my father in law had recently died and so we needed a different type of policy without going into detail no empathy treated totally awful resulted in me writing a awful review. yesterday phone call from manager appalled with how l was treated the agent spoken to and was receiving more training and being monitored thank you following up my complaint.l decided to see if l could get a much needed policy , a new more senior agent phoned called fynn so kind and considerate shown empathy spoke kindly explaining everything we did use towergate for our insurance you should be proud of fynn a number one agent thank you

Cannot recommend this Broker, Completely ignored After the Policy commenced, No support with any issues, This was a multi car policy of over £6000 per annum as well which they won’t get a renewal for,
