This is the second time we have booked with Roberto and Touring Italy. We had a private driver from Naples to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento along with a tour guide in Pompeii. Every aspect was perfect. Roberto is the consummate professional, we will use them every time we are in Italy. Ciao!

My husband and I booked the Amalfi Coast Small Group and it was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Simona, was knowledgable and very accommodating! It was such a pleasure to learn about so many things along the drive to the Amalfi Coast. We drove to the coast and stopped in Positanto and ended the day in Sorrento. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Simona!

We were transported through a wonderful taste of Italy with our fabulous guide Simona. We were picked up in a very comfortable van from our ship promptly at the scheduled time with no confusion as she was waiting at the pier with our names. We chose to see Positano and Sorrento from the Salerno port. Simon’s provided excellent history with some fun anecdotes while expertly driving along the winding coastal road. We stopped in Positano for walking, shopping and a gelato and in Sorrento for a wonderful lunch by the sea with a gorgeous view of Vesuvius and Capri. What a gorgeous day and excellent tour by Simona!! Ten stars. A great value for the experience.

The Tour Simona was full of energy and with great knowledge in perfect English.

I made it to Positano because of touring Italy! My son was sick in Rome and did not want to leave the ship for Positano the following day but because of the amazing suggestions by this company I felt comfortable with the journey . Not only did my son not get motion sickness , he fell asleep for the majority of the ride . I’m glad touring Italy convinced us not to cancel our trip . They were very flexible and accommodating with all of our needs 🙌🏽

Family trip to Italy- we loved our amalfi coast tour and the best driver Salvatore Maurano! Excellent driver, funny and very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Amalfi coast area. Salvatore truly made our experience a memorable one. Wish we could stay longer!

My family and I Went to Italy over the past 2 1/2 weeks and had an absolutely amazing time. I think it went so well because we utilized a company called touring Italy to help us with our land & sea transportation as well as several excursions thru-out our trip. The gentleman that owns it is Roberto D’Alessandro. Everything that he suggested and put together for us worked out great. All of the people that he utilized for our journey, were extremely professional and always on time. That says a lot about a company and the man behind the company. I am leaving this review for my mom and bff that went on this tour. My slow moving handicapped mom had a wonderful day! She gushed about what a great driver Simona was! It was everything she had hoped for! Simona took them to a great restaurant and they enjoyed it immensely. Both could not say enough good things about Simona! Take the tour and ask for her!

This was absolutely a worth while tour. The vehicle was so comfortable, and although the roads were winding, I felt relaxed. Anna Marie was enthusiastic, and really helpful when it came to the best experience in a shorter amount of time, coming off a cruise ship. The pace was forgiving and comfortable. We made it back in plenty of time.

Absolutely fantastic day with our guide Simona! We had a small group of 8 in our tour. On our way to Positano we stopped for photos and to a Limoncello factory and tasting. Simona gave us many facts on the drive there. Then we had an hour in Positano for photos and shopping - absolutely stunning. We then drove to Sorrento where she called ahead and reserved a table with a stunning view of Mt Vesuvius. The food and view was fantastic and service very quick which gave us time for shopping.
We were back at the cruise ship in plenty of time.
Fantastic day and great tour guide. Would highly recommend.

Salvatore picked us up from our cruise ship and we had a great tour. We had 8 people on our tour and Salvatore did a wonderful job showing us around Naples and Amalfi coast. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you only have one day in port.

We were looking for a private guided tour of the ancient Roman cities. I had not used Touring Italy before but reached out to them to create a single day tour of Pompei and Herculaneum with a driver and guide at the sites.

Pino out driver was wonderful. Very professional and also very kind and interesting to speak with. Our guide Manuela was wonderful also. She was a wealth of information and listened to what we wanted to see and learn/experience at the sites.

Our contact at the company was very professional, always responsive and so very helpful in many ways. For this tour as well as scheduling a driver to navigate the madness of Napoli to the airport.

Couldn’t recommend this company more highly. Thank you very much.

We love this sweet man: Salvatore Maurano!❤️❤️❤️On Monday September 18th, the Imperial Hotel Tramontano hired “Touring Italy” with Salvatore to drive three of us to Amalfi and Positano for a day along the Amalfi Coast. Not only did Salvatore safely drive us along those infamous hairpin turns and share his knowledge (in English) of the sights and historic towns, he showed his compassion when Laura became car sick. Salvatore immediately pulled over and raced around our Mercedes luxury minivan to help Laura out of the vehicle and to comfort her as she had the dry heaves. Salvatore did not drive further until Laura felt a little better. Salvatore also recommended a popular Positano restaurant (Chez Black) where we enjoyed a memorable lunch at the beach. We highly recommend Salvatore as he proved to be a driver who is careful, clearly skilled, knowledgeable, a very good communicator, and compassionate. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Salvatore!

I cannot recommend Roberto and Touring Italy enough! He created a trip beyond our expectations. He took all of the stress out of planning and scheduling, but more importantly he connected us with the best guides in all of Italy. It was incredible to learn about the history, culture, and food though a local and an expert. Each perfectly personalized everything, and kept our girls well engaged.

In Florence, Elena was fantastic. She knew so much, so many people and would take us into little shops to meet a local artisan who was so special because of their craft. She immersed us into the Florentine culture, something we never would have been able to do without her. I think she’s a celebrity too, because everyone seemed to know her and love her 😊. She was beyond fantastic at guiding us through the Accademia, Pitti, Boboli gardens, Uffizi and the walk through the city to taste all of the amazing food. We even went back to the lunch restaurant for dinner because it was so good. Thanks to you, we were so fortunate to have her as our guide!

Our driver though Tuscany, Maximiliano, was also fantastic, he was very professional, guided us through the beautiful countryside and explained the history of the towns and buildings. He stopped for perfect photo opportunities and also made good recommendations for gelato and shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tenuta Torciano. Their wines were fantastic as well as the food. It’s a beautiful winery and Luca was the perfect host. Not only did we do the tasting, he brought additional wines to sample and spent time with us, we felt like special guests.

In Rome, we enjoyed our time with Elena, learning about the Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum. She was also knowledgeable and was able to connect the past with the current time by showing us ruins and then pictures of how it might have looked before.

And lastly, Christiaan was phenomenal as well. We learned about the history, art and architecture. It was so so crowded and he navigated us well, taking us to the most significant places and best views of everything including the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basillica. Like Elena in Florence he was an expert in everything, explaining things through stories. Even my youngest who doesn’t love museums enjoyed his and her tours.

I cannot thank Roberto enough for creating this experience and new family memories. We will always cherish this trip - especially the time with Elena and Christiaan. I will absolutely recommend Touring Italy to anyone traveling to Italy. We are hoping to travel to Southern Italy in the future, and will absolutely us Roberto when time to plan!

Just returned from the trip if a lifetime which was perfect thanks to Roberto and Touring Italy! This was our first time in Europe and Roberto handled everything with the best results! We saw so much in a short time and every tour was with a very knowledgeable guide who were local to the area they brought us to. Not only did we see the main attractions but were able to learn and see many local places we would never have known about. Everyone was professional, courteous and timely. We cannot wait to plan our next trip to Italy and will only go if Roberto makes the arrangements. Thank you Touring Italy for a wonderful adventure!
