This company sucks!!!
Customer service is extremely crappy they want to argue about what plan you have purchased buying a new phone today with a different company this place can suck it!
I hope they go out of business they deserve nothing.

Sold me plan and phone

Sold me plan and phone, but did not unlock the plan after I had met the conditions, and then even claimed that they never sold me a phone in the first place. I still have the box from Total Wireless that had the phone in it right next to me.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Customer service is rude, incompentent, and useless.

I had to buy a 40.00 plan on the 6th

I had to buy a 40.00 plan on the 6th. I put the 40.00 on it. Then called to see what other plans there is. YOUR agent put me on a cheaper plan on the 6th. After I told her over and over not to. I'm switching phone service. You all won't give me a 20.00 refund!!!!! I've been with this company fir 4 years. I'll never go back to you all. Your customer service sucks and your agents don't speak English

Stay away if possible for the last 5 mouths of using this service has been a complete night mare. It doesn't make sense how bad this company service is.

My wallet on dashboard has fund but you guys turn off the service now i have to wait to 8 in morning just to try and talk with a human to tell them to apply the fund from the wallet. This is poor service I have had to do this from the last 5 months this company suck big time. It would be nice if they could give u a total amount to pay no this company can't seen to do that I paid the amount due then the company generates a whole different amount to be due the next day. Why can't the total be there instead???? Why so it can be paid... I have went to Walmart and loaded my so call Wallet with funds to try and prevent them turn of the service we'll I woke up and service is off but funds sitting it wallet.. wtf total wireless

Just say no ..

This entity should be honest up front and market themselves under the name..Total Joke Wireless😕Our unlimited plan provided super slow and often non-existing data access.Worse than their signal... customer"support" Wasted many hours in all sects of "support" before a rep got off the elephant and took my call..Once,waited 1 1/2 hours!!! Nobody answered. Several times I waited 20+ minutes on hold till I just hung up,all the while the voice over is telling you how important your call is to them. What a crock!! After finally reaching a rep. we went through trouble shooting,which concluded with me re starting my phone.Said he would call me back in 5 min. Never called back!!! Called again, waited nearly an hour this time on hold..then,after me telling him I just went through the trouble shooting an hour ago,he said we should go through it again..so I did.. again assured me he would call me back in 5min. Once again, did not call back at all!!! Wasted hours to no avail... Total is maybe,..a half step up from two soup cans and a string......GOOD-BYE Total by verizon!!!

I can't begin to say how mad I am.

Ive never really had a problem with them until now. My phone broke 4 days ago and I decided to just buy a new one. After paying $750, including express shipping, it has been 4 days and I still don't even have an ETA or tracking number. It still says "pending remote approval" which doesn't make sense. I understand it wasn't going to come through in 4 days, because I read the fine print of "1-2 days after it's been shipped". However I should at least have a tracking number and since I don't, I called.
When I called yesterday to ask what’s going on, they never answered. The entire 1 and a half hours after an “estimated 1 minute wait” and no one answered. Then, I just got off the phone today after 45 min of “your call is important to us please stay on the line”. I can't even begin to explain my rage at their horrible customer service.

Even though I didn't want to give 1…

Even though I didn't want to give 1 star, they deserve 0 stars. I placed an order two weeks ago and haven't received any response. It takes 2 hours to reach customer care, and even the callback takes 20 minutes. Very poor service across all providers. Also no customer care agents are knowledgeable and providing false commitments everytime.

I was with cricket for 10 years

I was with cricket for 10 years. Moved service to total wireless last week. I’m blown away on the coverage! I’m out in the mountains and have perfect coverage. Including hotspot! I’m so happy I switched.

Do not buy from Total

Just my experience, everyone has a different experience with carriers. I decided to buy the iPhone 14 from Total which required 3 months of prepaid service to be paid upfront. The phone came the next day which I paid for so awesome! Didn’t get any shipping notifications but no big deal I got the phone fast as I paid for the next day shipping. I opened the box and noticed that the iPhone was midnight color and not white as that’s the color I ordered. I was a little annoyed but whatever it really doesn’t matter as the phone still operates the same. I went to activate via eSIM as instructed on the pamphlet provided and it failed. For some reason the eSIM activation popped up but then it said unsuccessful. This is where it all went downhill. I decided to contact them through chat on their website because I couldn’t call from neither the new phone or old phone as my number was already ported to Total I just didn’t have access to it. The representative on chat said I must call as this was “high risk”. So I had to use my fiancés phone to call. Right off the bat she argued that I just have to go to cellular and click add eSIM and it would pop up with activation. Again and again I said nope it’s not there. After about 20 minutes she said that she has to manually reset all the details of the eSIM on her end. She goes through all the information and once again she says do you see the message on your phone yet? Each time I said no, there was nothing. Reset network settings, restarted the phone, everything. And what made it even more annoying was that she kept saying “I see” lol. Finally 1 hour into the call I have no idea if it was just luck or what but the activation screen popped up again and I was able to successfully install my eSIM. Made sure everything worked, data, calls and texts. Got off the phone and went back to setting up my phone. Later realized RCS was not working… so I go through the settings turn certain settings on and off as I saw on here. Nothing did the trick and again tried getting in contact with an agent and they simply don’t understand what RCS is. After the two agents being confused, I gave up and kept trying on my own. Today, three days later RCS started working. I’ve ported many times and this was simply the worst experience I’ve had with any prepaid company. I would not recommend if you want anything easy. Maybe I just got unlucky.

Broken Systems and Terrible Customer Service

Total wireless was fine for quite a while, then suddenly their auto refill system completely failed (approximately Feb. 2025). Despite being enrolled in auto refill and the credit card I used was the same one that worked each month without issue for several years, something was really wrong with their system. My phone was shut off monthly (despite confirmations that my auto refill would be renewing my plan by text. Each. And. Every. Month) and I had to restart service for $5 extra for four months. At first I trusted that their system would correct itself, but I finally contacted them in frustration. I asked for an IT ticket to address the issue with the auto refill process and a refund of the $20 I was overcharged. I got $5 and even more frustration after the interactions with customer service. I know they have the best coverage in my state (Verizon and resellers have had a de facto monopoly of coverage in North Dakota for years), but I'm transferring my service to another provider. It's just not worth the frustration when their systems malfunction and they don't take accountability. My money will go elsewhere and I'll warn others to do the same.

Total is horrible/ STAY AWAY FROM TOTAL WIRELESS!!!!

Total is horrible! Customer service sucks! I called and I went online for service help with my phone that couldn't seem to stay online. The online help didn't have what was needed and when I called the first day I held on the line for 3 hrs the next day I used the option to get called once an agent was available and when they called they put me on hold and never came to the phone and I haven't been able to get through since then! They SUCK time for a new company!!! STAY AWAY FROM TOTAL WIRELESS!!!! They shouldn't even get 1star👎

Was good until I left the U.S to got to…

Was good until I left the U.S to go to Canada for a bit. They gave me 2 days of roaming , reassured me that my U.S plan included Canada, so I paid and refilled my account , then the next day, Zero phone service!

Refused to transfer me to a supervisor or refund me or provide any solutions, even tho the fault was completely on their end! Horrible! So not only lying to me as a customer , but then refused to do anything to make it right after months of service with them!!! This company sucks!

HORRIBLE customer service.

Tell us what happened to YOU Total Wireless!
Impossible to speak to a human now. After day 4 of trying to activate a $1400.00 phone I purchased directly from you, one of your employees ghosted me and wouldnt close out the chat for 2 hours. I've been with you 10 years and highly recommended you. Not anymore. You really should be ashamed.

Don't buy Motorola phone from total wireless!!!

Don't buy Motorola phone!!!! My Samsung worked great had several, switched to Motorola for additional mg and it's terrible!!! Won't hook up to car I called they said glitch on their end. It was fixed in minutes now happening again been on phone for 3 days spent to hours on hold no live agent called me back. I have spent several days trying to reach a live tech to help me no luck. I maybe switching service this is terrible. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT DOESN'T ANSWER OR CALL YOU BACK. SUCH A SCAM NO CREDIT GOT NO USAGE UGH. JUST WANT A PHONE THAT WORKS

2 days and almost a 2hour wait just to…

2 days and almost a 2hour wait just to speak with someone it inane never have I ever experience a 2 hour wait period and there service keep dropping and they lied about there price I was paying 120 then all the sudden now it 135 a month crazy how they lied about there hidden fees just to get you locked in I would not recommend them to anyone

What happened to your customer service????? I have been with this company for almost 10 years.....could ALWAYS call and get through within minutes.....yesterday I was on hold for over an hour n a half.....hung up because that's RIDICULOUS!!! I'm thinking it's because of VERIZON taking over.....SHAME ON YOU VERIZON!! You should be adding to this company not taking away GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE they've always had!!

I have been having problems getting the phone I ordered and when I tried to called several times
(spent 2hours 50min. total ) just to get some information everybody give me different answers and none were correct. I had to go on reddit to get the correct info on what was going on with the motorola 2025. The customer service was giving me the run around.
