I have been using their products for…

I have been using their products for years. This year was the first time I had nothing but total failure. Their response was bad soil. No it wasn't that. It was bad seeds and this is what they always say. As you can see in here and the BBB their responses is like their product. If it fails it's your fault. Screwing customers will be their down fall, time will tell.

I would like to give them -0- stars but…

I would like to give them -0- stars but that is not an option. Placed an order on May 20, 2025 and then called 10 minutes later to add to it. They can not add to an existing order to supposedly they cancelled the 1st order and processed the 2nd one. Well i was billed for both orders and as of July 16, 2025 I am still waiting for my refund for the 1st order. They claim the credit lady is overwhelmed and she is the only person doing credits and does work for 8 other companies as well. Poor excuse. Should not have to wait 2 months for a refund. You can take my money quick but don't want to refund me the money for the cancelled order. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

WONT REFUND YOU UNTIL MANY WEEKS OR MONTHS LATER

GREEDY OWNER(S) REFUSE TO HIRE STAFF SO NOW THEY KEEP TREES NOT IN STOCK ON WEBSITE THEN WHEN THEY ARE ORDERED THEY SIMPLE WRITE REFUND ON SLIP AND SEND OUT ONE TREE SO YOU PAY ALL THE SHIPPING AND GET NOT WHAT YOU ORDERED OR A SMALL PORTION OF IT. THEN THE REFUND TAKES OVER A MONTH TO GET SENT BACK TO MY CARD. SHOULD BE ILLEGAL WHAT THIS COMPANY IS DOING.

Lousy customer service!

Have used Jungs for years but never will again! Ordered sweet potato plants. Here it is, memorial weekend and still no plants. Called and got the run around ...the plants are shipped by a supplier, we don't know when they'll ship, no I can't cancel your order and refund your money as they might have shipped, and no you won't receive notice as to when they will ship. I call BS! After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes, I finally talk to a person, they gave all the above excuses and wouldn't cancel my order. After the phone call I get an email with a tracking number, with the label creation time minutes after my phone call! They could have honored my request to cancel the order, but chose to lie instead. I will never be using this company again! Bad way to do business, especially with long time customers. Update: plants arrived mostly dead .more brown leaves than green. When I emailed Jungs, with pics, and asked for a refund. they just said they were fine. So much for customer service and quality product. Will never be buying from them again.

Invasive Maypop Passion Flower

in 2024 I purchased a variety of plants totaling over $800 from Jung Seed Company. Among these plants was the Maypop Passion Flower, which was misrepresented, as it was not labeled "invasive." The plant caused significant destruction in my garden, spreading rapidly across an area of 4' x 8', invading nearby plants and even spreading outside the flower box.
When I called the company to inquire about this particular plant, they confirmed that it was indeed invasive. At that point, my husband, my children and I decided to dig it out and strain the entire area to remove any remaining roots. This task required a great deal of time and effort.
Months later, I received their magazine again and checked to see if the Maypop Passion Flower had since been labeled as invasive—it had not. I called the company and requested reimbursement for the plant and partial compensation for the labor we exerted to clean up the damage it caused.
I spoke with several representatives, including Vicky and a supervisor named Erin. When I asked to speak to the top person in the company, they refused to give me a last name, but I was easily able to find the name Brian Isaacs online.
Long story short, they told me that their responsibility was not to label the plants accurately and accordingly, but simply to sell them. They shifted the burden of due diligence onto me, suggesting I should research the internet and believe anyone, anything and whatever is posted about any plant, including passion flowers, even though they themselves confirmed to me its invasive nature.
Erin, one of the supervisors, was rude and interrupted me repeatedly while I was speaking. When I asked not to be interrupted, she threatened to hang up on me.
Jung Seed Company should be on the Better Business Bureau's radar. This is not a company that takes responsibility or corrects its mistakes. Their customer service is horrific, both in how they speak to customers and how they handle issues. They seem to care only about profit, often at the expense of customer harm. Save yourself time and money and do not do business with this fraudulent company!

Mostly DEAD PLANTS

Plants almost dead they refused to honor their satisfaction guarantee. REFUSED TO GIVE REFUND! White leaves dead brown leaves. Told me it was my fault for not taking care of the plant and giving it a chance. It arrived like this! One CS agent was rude and hung up! The other talked down to me as if I was ignorant and did not know about plants!

Bought 2 butterfly bushes and was shipped small plants that when put in the sunlight on west side of house with some shade wilted and died. I called and Shawn McDonald said she could do nothing for me and she claimed I was yelling at her when I was holding the phone away and speaking normally. She was gaslighting me. She was terrible at customer service and said to me that she felt NOTHING would every satisfy me and when I said that she is the one with the problem and that she insulted me when she don't know me and as a customer-- she wants only to insult them--that she should quit. She then said that she was ending the call and hung up on me. Jung seeds should hang a sign in the door saying only buy from us of you want junk and to be insulted by our customer service that will hang up on you.

Jung sent a tree order with a shipping…

Jung sent a tree order with a shipping company that sits on packages until there are enough to deliver to an area. Not a good shipping company for trees. Arrived in their warehouse 5 days ago and has been "out for delivery" all week. Called Jung and talked to a very non helpful individual who said it was my responsibility to check with the delivery company about delivery. She would not give me her name or let me talk to a supervisor. Needless to say, my business is moving elsewhere next year.

No order updates, stock ruined

Just found order alongside an outbuilding. No notice order even pending shipment... checked even now and shows no updates to order. Stock was hot sitting against metal building and likely ruined!

I spent $400 on what I thought was…

I spent $400 on what I thought was going to be flowers and bushes. Being a gardener, I was expecting 4" pots with maybe 6" of growth. I received sticks and bareroot plants. Only one plant had in the description it was a bareroot. These are for my SIL's birthday and I am embarrassed to give them to her. They are absolutely underwhelming and sad. I will never ever order from them again.

Warranty is useless

Their warranty on live plants is useless. No refunds. No credit voucher because they will claim you didn't follow planting directions even if you did. Four pack of grapes, three are doing fine although much smaller than expected for the price, yet somehow the fourth one which was treated the same way and never sprouted is my fault. They claim my climate might not be good for grapes - I'm in the Ozarks and they grow wild all over my 10 acres.

First time ordering from JungSeed.com…

First time ordering from JungSeed.com by mail and before ordering I read that their shrubs come in quart or gallon pots. I received my shrubs in tiny pint pots, they were ridiculously small for the price. $23 for an evergreen that is 5 inches tall?? Menards had the same shrubs that were 5 feet tall for $49. The only way to get a refund is to drive them all the way back. I am not interested in wasting auto miles/gas, or ordering from JungSeed again.

Disappointed order for 3 reminiscent…

I placed an order for 3 reminiscent roses (Coral, Crema and Pink). They cost $22.95/ but if you purchase 2 or more they are $21.25/. I asked customer service if I could get the group rate. They said NO since I was technically only purchasing 1 of each rose. I placed order anyway. Underwhelmed with what I have received - 1 Quart potted roses are quite small. The other thing is they do not notify you when the roses will be shipped and expected to arrive at your house. Roses are coming one at a time spaced weeks apart. Still waiting for one. All in all I do not believe good value for money though time will tell

2023 Spring Review-Jungseed is a NO BRAINER!

2023 Spring Review: Man oh man! I just received my Cherry and Plum trees from my Jung order. What huge trees compared to other prime nurseries. Both are well pruned and the circumference of both is at least close to 3/4 inch. Last year I ordered two fruit trees from an established well known orchard tree supplier which I used to use exclusively. However, the trees were pruned rejects and I paid nearly $40 each plus shipping. Then, several other trees died this Spring and their policy has changed regarding refunds ie. you must send pictures of the dead trees. (which I still need to do...man I am digging soil it's Spring!)
So to bypass all of these blockages I decided to try Jungseed again. Their prices are fair and I know they do not give you poorly pruned items nor do they give you problematic guarantees about ANYTHING! Never a wrong product or plant. NOTHING! Great customer service, too.
Well, I am writing this UNPAID & UNBIASED review for all of those people needing their ""decent fruit trees"" like ME! I promise you will not be disappointed in the products, plants and even flowers you receive from this company.
I also received the earliest strawberries I could find from Jung. They look close to 3 year old plants but, I believe they are 2 years old. The strawberry plants look as though they will likely bear this year.
I bought strawberries, AGAIN from another WELL-KNOWN company last year...ALL dead but a few. Mistake again, they supposedly were 2 years old but, looked weak as the dickens. I paid high dollars for THEM, oh well! Lesson learned. I went back to Old Faithful Jungseed and I am satisfied. I have made at least 4 gardens over 40 years all were 90% organic and I need reliable stock now because of produce shortages secondary to Covid. Jung to me is a NO BRAINER! Done.
