The customer service that this company offers is top notch. They even followed up with me after I asked the questions I had. The lights are super simple to install and look amazing in my house. Couldn’t be happier.

I was looking for a new desk clamp for my adjustable drawing table lamp. Just the clamp, not the entire lamp. Ruby in Customer Service was incredibly helpful and patient answering my questions. She and I even exchanged pictures to make sure we were talking about the same thing. Once my questions were answered, Ruby got the table clamp sent to me right away. And now my drawing table is properly lit once again!

The shipping/processing was very good. A slight delay in transit. Overall customer service has been good

Recently finished my basement and needed trim for 44 recessed lights. Two of the lights had to be "short" cans due to the limited space and Torchstar had trim that worked with these lights and matched the trim on my other lights, also from Torchstar.

A very quick response to an issue that I had with a past purchase. Love your products and especially your customer service!

TORCHSTAR Manufacturers a Complete Piece Of JUNK.
i wrote 2 honest reviews exposing Their Horruble Product, and They managed to get both, eBay's, where i made the mistake of buying it, and my first review with Trustpilot of it, to remove my reviews. So what does *that* tell you right up front?!
And the ONLY reason that They got my reviews removed was because i referred to Them what anyone would refer to something that rips them off. So now, i'm going to work even harder to get this information out to the public. So all consumers that read this, please copy this and post it on your social media. For, This Company, that is making this Piece of Junk, is more interested in covering-up Its exposure than rightfully, and honestly, fixing Their Miserably Flawed Junk.
Here are the details:
Their Lousy Product arrived 08/20/2025, and immediately i had to return it; not even willing to pay the return shipping for It.
This Bad Manufacturer is wrongfully promoting Their Garbage either knowingly or unknowingly. Now, i say 'knowingly or unknowingly' because more and more USA Companies are increasingly being run by {what do you think}--- that know Their products are bad. And more and more USA Companies are increasingly being run by {what do you think}--- that do not have the honesty to have Their Products properly tested before They want to get Their Greedy Hooks on unsuspecting peoples' money.
Realize that This is *not* just a poorly assembled Product that "just happens" to not work... THIS IS A VERY POORLY Designed Product by Whatever obviously knows *nothing* about basic physics. Just looking at the Junk coming out of the box, any rationally~minded person could see that the cheap plastic parts (i.e., the table clamp) would not hold~up to the necessary torque and leverage involved to adequately use the product. Yet even anticipating that, and carefully accounting for that in setting the Junky-Product up, *It still failed*!--- Just as It appears It was likely *Deliberately* Designed to do. So try to think of what kind of Designers would *Knowingly* make the table clamp for this Junk out of cheap plastic.. For, if the clamp is not tightened enough, then leverage causes it to slip, slide, and snap off the table. But if the clamp is tightened adequately to hold, then the cheap plastic cracks--- as it looks like it was *Deliberately Designed to do*.
Further, {yes, it gets worse}, They even Designed the table base for the light completely wrong!!
Again, try to think of what Total Incompetence it takes for a Manufacturer to *NOT* properly understand necessary physics for Their Products, that depend on not failing when being used. As *another Flaw*, if the user of the lamp pulls the light over, say, to read a book, now the weight of the lamp exceeds the stability of the base, and the whole unit topples over {Which is why They have to include a table clamp. But, as already explained, the table clamp is Designed wrong--- so NOTHING works with this Junk except the light; which defeats the whole purpose of the extension armature!!}.
Like i said, This Piece of Junk is just that--- J-U-N-K!!
DO NOT waste your money on It, that is just filling the pockets of These kind of People at TORCHSTAR.

*addendum 09192025:
Today i received a message in my gmail that 'torchstar.us has flagged {my} review for "containing defamatory content" '. But Trustpilot analyzed my review and concluded 'we’ve assessed the content.., and determined that it’s not defamatory'..
So with this, let me ask you buyers, if We, as consumers, have to fear being silenced because we stand up against and expose Poor Product quality, then where will Poor Business (or even Corporate Negligence) ever stop ??..
Do you, as consumers, have the right to know about a Garbage Product that just wastes your money??.. If so, then what does this addendum say about the Company that is more interested in *repeatedly* Fighting Hard to keep you from knowing about Their Garbage Product than fixing Their Cheap Junk ?!

Seriously think of what you have learned here, and think of what it tells you about TORCHSTAR..

We purchased a dozen wafer lights a year ago and had issues with one. Italia handled our problem quickly and solved our problem in one day. Would definitely buy more lights from them in the future.
