Tommy's Express Car Wash Reviews 150

I have been going back and forth with Tommys car wash for weeks now. Not about the wash itself but the fact that they park their car and sometimes two cars in front of the dumpster and they partially block the third lane. I have a 1-ton dually and need to take the third lane to make the tight turn. Otherwise, I have to play the backup, go forward, back up, go forward game to make the turn. If a car is behind me then they have to backup as well. When they had two cars parked there I could not use that lane at all. When I asked the employee about moving the cars I was told that since the manager parks there they can park there as well. And he said no he will not move the cars. Keep in mind that this is in front of a dumpster with doors so you are not supposed to park there at all. I sent an email to Tommy's support and was assured that this would be taken care of and it was not. I received a phone call from a Manager at the wash site and was assured this would be taken care of but it was not. I have email after email stating this would be taken care of and as of the writing of this review they are still parking in front of the dumpster. To most people you look at it think there is plenty of room but taking a big dually through there cuts it close when trying to take it through there in a straight line to make the turn. I really didn’t think this was going to be a big deal. Those are not designated parking spots anyway. However, I guess at the end of the day Tommy’s cares more about letting their managers and employees park in the way than they do about taking care of their customers.

I’ve been a member of Tommy’s car wash for three years. I frequently wash my Subaru Forrester. Once in a while, the car wash will take off the rear wiper. I just turn around and go to the window to have them retrieve it for me.
A few days ago, the car wash took off my rear wiper blade. As I was putting it on I noticed damage to the wiper arm. I informed the shift leader. He took pictures and said he will get back to me in a couple days. He assured me it would be taken care of and that they have had trouble with Subarus before. When he called me today, he said because they put a plastic sleeve over the wiper blade, it is not their responsibility for the damage.
I contacted corporate office and they said there is nothing they can do, it’s up to the franchise. So, I am left to repair the damage their car wash caused.

I have never been to any car wash that I was not waved or escorted and lined up by an employee to enter the wash so I don't damage my car or their equipment.
I have been told it's policy not to help customers line up to enter the wash. THINK I WILL FIND A CAR WASH WHO CARES. TOMMY WASH OBVISOULY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS PROPERTY.

Terrible and untrustworthy. Their automatic wash ripped off part of my vehicles trim and, of course, they refused to take any responsibility. Take your business to someone with integrity and avoid Tommy's Express Car Wash in Euless.

The car wash was excellent- I am paying less than I was from a competitor with a higher service at Tommy’s. The staff is so nice and helpful- there was an issue with my app and they were more than happy to help me resolve- customer service at its finest!

I would give a zero if possible. Tommy's Express car wash on N. Ridge Rd. damaged my one-month-old car's paint job. There is an excess of over 50 places on the hood, roof and trunk where some type of foreign substance, which was creamy yellow in color, damaged the paint. Once I saw the substance, I rushed home and immediately wiped it off with a wet shammy, but I was too late. The damage was done. I took the car back and Tommy's is trying to tell me that there was already a substance on my car before I went through the car wash, which is simply not true. Even if it were true, why was there a noticeable creamy substance after I went through the wash? And how is that the damage is only where there was a yellow substance sitting on my car? Tommy's is refusing to pay a dime. I did get my membership fee back, but big deal! If I have to get a new paint job, which is a distinct possibility, it will cost me thousands. I just hope the defects can be buffed out! Interestingly enough, there is another review from 5/1/23 by Mark P. where the exact same problem is described. He too got no satisfaction.

If you value your car's paint job, which I am guessing most people do, find somewhere else to go.

Was refused service because I have a little rust at the bottom of my passanger door. I went to a wash about 3 blocks away and they said the rust would not affect anything and they gave me a free wash. Don't waste your time or money at Tommy's.

Payden gave me a good experience with Tommy’s id definitely come back again!

This literally has to be the worst car washing company I have been to not one time has their car wash ever gotten all the bugs off my windows or the front of my car and I pre-wash my car when I went to go cancel my subscription didn’t get very good customer service. Nor was there any talk about how refunding any of my money since I only did it for a month and not one time did they ever clean my car?

Absolute false advertising!!! They DO NOT handle duallys, I was turned away by an employee saying their area manager does not allow duallys…???

Drove 8 miles across Carrollton to get here only to see that they are closed for some kind of repair inside the wash bay. 4:50 PM. It looks like they could send out a text through there app and which I have that they are temporarily closed. This is the 2nd time that this has happened this month. 06.17.2023

Save your money, time and vehicles.
I bought my truck brand new end of may 2022, I got my premium membership 3 weeks later at lake Orion location, never used another car wash, never had any scratches or anything on my truck, one day after a car wash I noticed bad scratches on both sides. Went back to the location the following day and showed them everything, they said they will make a claim and reach out to me within 48 hours. 2 weeks later I get a phone call and they telling me they are NOT going to do anything about it. I asked to cancel my membership and refund me half that month since it’s already been 2 weeks since my monthly payment, also for that I was told NO. The funny part is I was told it’s a automatic car wash and you should expect something like that to happen

Not a real car wash, just a rinse and shine. BEWARE!

Car wash failed to clean my car. Went to clean my SUV at the Tommy's car wash in Ballwin, MO 63011 on Manchester Rd. My car did not have heavy soil and dirt. Just normal clean needed and had some bugs on front bumper ,grill area and on mirror covers.

Paid for the $14.00, one time wash.

After going through the wash, check the car and found it barely cleaned the dirt and bugs off the front and mirrors.

I did go back and report this to the attendant. He inspected the car and ran me through again.

After the 2nd wash, not much of a change. My car was still dirty.

At this point, I realized this brand wash is only going to provide me with a rinse. The soft cloths don't remove the dirt and bugs.

I went down the road to the competitor, have if run through their wash one time and got it completely cleaned.

I appreciated their attempt to clean my car. so give them a good mark of customer service. Their wash misleads.

Most of the car was quite clean, however, the back was not cleaned, especially near the bumper. The tires were not cleaned well either, and I paid more for that.
Fore the price I paid, the wash wasn't worth it!
I will stick with my regular car wash or wash myself!

Truly professionals made my car and its interior look as good as new highly recommend them!!

I went through the Tommys car wash on Plainfield in Grand Rapids on 3/15/23 and when I finished, there was smeared OIL all over my windows and paint. I told the attendant about it and he could see it all over my windows. He apologized and sent me through again. After the second wash it was WORSE. I left the facility and emailed the company and the Plainfield store and was told they would rewash my car, but could not refund my $10. I will NOT recommend Tommys car wash to any one and will never use them again to wash my car.

Tommy express just opened up in Stevens Point Wisconsin I took my 2022 Ford F150 that only has 4000 miles on it through its 1st car wash and when I left the car wash I did not look at my truck until I got home and then when I got home I noticed that a piece of the trim was tore off I called them and they told me that they are not responsible get a lawyer and see you in court and then they banned me from the premises and told me if I show up there again I will be arrested

Went through car wash back of car and wheels still dirty bought the ultimate package no better or worse than any automatic car wash just tried one time will go back to washing it myself

I am a Tommy’s unlimited customer and you need to be because you have to go through many times to get car clean. I will cancel after this month.
