Tofoo's blurb claims: "Handmade to defy convention..." Handmade to defy belief, say I! It's not that their tofu is bad - it isn't; it's actually very good, not requiring pressing, and is the brand of plain tofu that I purchase regularly. It's the unexpected mediocrity of their more 'adventurous' products, notably the pointless Stir Fry Tofu and the minuscule Frankfurter Hot Dogs, which are both sadly lacking in imagination and creation. Come on, Tofoo! You have an amazing opportunity to become the UK's most exciting tofu product producer but your R&D department seem to be living in the 1970s! Compare with Taifun for illumination.
