30 or 40 years ago, my husband told me about the toaster he had growing up. “The toast slowly rose out of the toaster. It didn’t pop up, like other toasters.”
I didn’t believe him. I thought he was pulling my leg. Then I found Tim’s Toasters. I had to get one for Tom. And we love it! Tim does beautiful restoration work. And he is so charming! I’m ordering another one!

No regrets having this done! Tim is a fabulous person! He kept me informed throughout the entire process. I am so glad that I had this done! This was my late Mother's Sunbeam toaster and it is the only one that I can remember while growing up. The craftsmanship and details that he puts into the restoration is amazing! I'm sure if I could go back in time to 1955 this toaster would look exactly the same. The toaster works flawlessly. Great job!!

I contacted Tim after stumbling on his site when I procured a T-20 B from eBay. His thorough description of the restoration process made it a no-brainer to have the work done at Tim’s. While the wait was quite a while for him to begin work, it was simply testament to his skills and artistry. Before work began on my unit, Tim emailed me with the details on his start date. Then pictures and descriptions began. It was so exciting to know about the progress. Just before final reassembly, more progress pictures and specific details about my unit came. Shipping details and tracking were given and then it arrived. So amazingly detailed! Everything looked totally amazing. I love the toaster. You’ll love yours, too.

The toaster is beautiful. And functional. It makes my life just a bit easier, and I appreciate that.

Tim communicated well during the whole process. I got before/during/after photos of my toaster. Just keep in mind that it all takes time. It's not an online it in person store. Good things come to those who wait. It's a buy it for life toaster, and you won't get that anywhere else.

Attention to detail makes all the difference. If you have any interest in owning a piece of toaster history, Tim is the right man for the job. We actually own two T-20 toasters and you can tell the difference between them from across the room. Tim's is polished, clean and has a beautiful cord.

Tim did an excellent job on my T20A toaster restoration. Could not be happier with the quality of his work. He stayed in contact with us throughout the process to let us know the status and progress. Recommend Tim's Toaster restoration to anyone who has an old Sunbeam they want fixed or fully restored.

Tim is the absolute best at toaster restoration. He just finished my T-20B and it is magnificent!! Couldn't be more pleased with the job he did and the attention to detail that is put into his work. I highly recommend Tim for your toaster restoration job!! :-)

Tim is a delightful person and proud of his craft. In a sea of products and services intended only to separate you from your money without actually making your life any better off, his Sunbeam repair and restoration service was refreshingly earnest and human! It's clear he loves what he does for the sake of it. He does not take for granted his strong position in a fairly niche market; he earned and maintains it!

What made my experience with Tim Wilson extraordinary? How shall I count the ways?

Tim treated me like a dear friend, with unexpected kindness, respect and sincerity!

He cared enough to provide detailed accounts of his progress with my late parent's Sunbeam to ensure I was fully informed- complete with photos from every conceivable angle!!

I learned that Tim is very busy with his "real" (printing business) job, as the chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the church he has attended his entire life First UMC of London and that he visits the church almost daily to monitor the final stages of the masonry and stained-glass window restoration. Yet he made time for me- and was it ever worth the wait!!!

Because the finished product is one gorgeous work of art that I enjoy looking at every day. Not to mention having perfect toast that alluded me (and my parents) for decades!!!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Tim!!!!! You are an artist, craftsman and one incredible human being!!!!!

Time restored our 1953 sunbeam T-20 toaster and we absolutely love it. Everything works beautifully and the toast comes out perfect. This toaster belonged to my husbands grandmother back in the 50’s and we hope our kids will enjoy it one day to. Thank you time for all your hard work.

What else can I add to what everyone else has said? Tim was great to work with. The quality of his work was above expectations and my toaster came back good as new. I can't say thank you enough for restoring a family heirloom.

I agree with all of the other reviews, and I don't know what more I can say. I now have a beautiful and functional toaster that makes me happy because of its elegant engineering and because it reminds me of my wonderful aunt I inherited it from.

The care in selecting the right unit, the diligence in communication, and the final product are outstanding -- truly a level of service that seems to be absent from most interactions since these toasters were new. Tim did a fantastic job at restoring my T-20B! Every nook and cranny has been cleaned and the toasting operation optimized, bringing this powerhouse of a toaster back to its fullest potential!

Tim reecently restored my family's Sunbeam T-20B. Throughout the process, he kept me informed about whrere he was at with the restoration. This is something I truly appreciated. What I appreciate even more is Tim's kindness, his professionalism, and the sheer love he puts into repairing these amazing machines. He has a gift not just for repairing them, but for letting you know that he values you as a customer and as a human being: I'd told Tim that this Sunbeam was my father's T20B and that he'd loved it. When Tim sent the toaster back to me, he printed a special note to honor my father on the side of the box. I have made a friend whose friendship I will always cherish.

Tim is a master of Sunbeam toaster repair, and is a fountain of knowledge about their operation and use. I was shocked at how my toaster looked pretty much brand new when it came back to me and it works great!
