Complex with very poor documentation and help
Rather complex, which ends up in trouble due to very poor documentation - if any. Or it is obsolete and only valid for old versions.
Example:
Followed link from Time registration app about new updates. Ended on a web helppage about this app.
The update link in the upper right corner of this page ends blind, so after all: No information about the update
Unfortunately a rather typical situation.
Be careful before selecting this.

Worst time tracking app
There is no functionality to set auto-checking time if there are longer project assignments.
This tool misses so many basic functionalities like having group time submit, drag and drops for easier reporting.

Good for project development and our consultancy firm
We have used timelog for several years. Tried a few competitors before but timelog is the best for us with regards to project development, budgeting and allocating resources. It has all the functions we need, good support and pricing is OK also.

Over 10 years
We've been using TimeLog for over 10 years now and have always been very satisfied. Especially how easy it is to administrate the different projects with fixed or hourly based rates, and our employees like how easy it is to register time with the tracker or the phone apps.

TimeLog is working great
TimeLog is working great. There is a lot of really good features, such as project templates, timelocking, project management also there is a really good overview over spend time vs. estimated time and easy invoicing, based on contract management. Furthermore, we use the module for registrating travel and other expenses, holiday and other absences, which makes it all a lot easier for our bookkeeping department, when making payroll.
We are also happy with the Danish support team, who help us as soon as we ask

TimeLog has easy setup/usage and was quick to get up and running.
The project management features like WBS numbering on tasks / the ability to create task hierarchies is very intuitive and works like a charm.
The ability to extract data from the API is great and a key feature for me.
